We didn't get the landmark view (which I requested). Minor renovation (especially in the bathroom) would make it even better... Not really a show stopper for us...but if I can suggest something it would be that

Excellent location as hotel opens on Nanjing road pedestrian street. You can walk to the bund and enjoy spectacular views of city or cruise Huangpu river. Ideal for families with kids who like to go on short trips from hotel and enjoy vibrant city life that Shanghai offers. We stayed here for New Years so we also enjoyed crowds that gathered for NYE without being too far from our hotel. Staff is friendly and so helpful we had some issue with our bags and hotel send their staff with tools we needed to fix our bag, rooms are comfortable, breakfast choices are exceptional (although can be improved further by adding some kosher and halal food choices). This hotel is in heart of Shanghai and I recommend this place to all foreign travellers visiting this beautiful city.

Breakfast can be improved by adding some kosher/halal food choices, need connected rooms with doors for families travelling with kids, also consider reserving rooms next to each other when family books 2 rooms.

The hotel’s location is excellent—right on Nanjing Road Walking Street, close to the Metro, Lawson, and Miniso. I especially appreciate the four exits, which make it super convenient to go wherever I need. All the staff are very nice and can communicate in English at an understandable level. If I visit Shanghai again, I will definitely stay here!

The sliding door separating the bedroom and bathroom in my room was broken, so it couldn’t be fully closed. This meant my friend and I had to coordinate not to walk near the door while someone was showering. This is the one thing I would like the hotel to improve, as having damaged items in the room prevents guests from fully receiving the value of what they paid for.

Excellent location. Hotel is located at East Nanjing Road. Plenty of shops of restaurants, just 3 mins walk to the nearest line 2 metro East Nanjing Road station. Line 2 is directly connected all the way from Pudong Airport, reach city in 1 hour, very convenient, 15 minutes walk to the Bund. 10 minutes to People Square. We booked the Executive Room, with direct access to the 30th floor lounge, able to enjoy the complementary daily afternoon tea and snack , and the evening light dinner with cocktail. Simple but good enough. The staff service is good at lounge.

Very nice and comfortable room. I was on the 27th floor so the view was incredible. Very well located as it is on the Nanjing Road and it is at a walking distance from People's Square and the Bund.

Not really something that I disliked but every morning, someone knocked at my door to ask me if I had any laundry. I think that it is not necessary as we can put the laundry in the bag already given in the room (and I think there is a paper to fill out). Also, I ordered food to be served in my room but I had to immediately pay for it when it was served. Not very a complaint but I'm used to pay any service provided by the hotel at the end of the stay.

Very central location at Pedestrian Street & near to many food amenities & shopping malls. Just 5 to 10 mins walk to the Shanghai bund, People’s Square & Metro stations. Very lively & vibrant area with lots of people.

The room looks old & lacks proper furnishing. Though breakfast variety are a lot but the food is not so palatable. When food runs out, staff took a longer time to top up the trays, eg fruits. One of the nights, we realized that the shampoo & shower gel was not replaced during housekeeping. Called them about 9+ in the night & they took more than 30mins to deliver the items.

Hotel is in an excellent location. You can take line 2 Metro to Nanjing Road (E) station, go to exit 4, turn right and walk less than 3 mins, it's just next to the 4-storey Miniso. The Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is just right in front of the hotel and People's Square and The Bund are within walking distance. Staff at the front desk can speak English so no issue at all communication with them. Front desk staff were also very friendly, polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast was great, with a lot of variety and they even provided takeaway cups for you to take out the coffee! Our room size was great, bath room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Overall, very satisfied with our stay and will definitely come back if we visit Shanghai again.

I had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Hyland in Shanghai. The hotel offered a clean and charming room that made my stay very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The location was perfect for exploring Shanghai, with many famous attractions easily accessible. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us, even helping us find a fantastic restaurant to celebrate a birthday. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shanghai!

The bathroom felt a bit outdated, but overall, it wasn’t a major issue. Also, the air conditioning was excessively warm, and we were unable to adjust the temperature, which was a bit uncomfortable at times. Despite these small issues, I would still highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Shanghai!

Outstanding location nearby large Minisoland. Easy to shopping , put your shopping bag into the room and continue shopping. Even in front of hotel are crowed with people, there are always security to check if everything going well in front of the elevator.

Room are old. Although the hotel is located in the city centre of Nanjing road, the car pick up and drop off location are quite confused. If you use didi, they driver will not notice that they where the drop off location up stair. They will park down stair or sometimes opposite the hotel. You have to walk down and sometimes cross the road.

Excellent location as both myself and my wife love the shopping street of Nanjing Lu. We took a private car from Pudong Airport as we are elderly and have 2x24 inch luggage bags. For younger travellers taking the subway from airport to this Hotel, it is convenient as we saw the subway Exit is less than 100 metre away from Hotel. Even if you have young children with you walking along Nanjing Lu in late evening is safe as there are many police and auxiliary police all over the stretch of long shopping/eateries street. There is a slow toot toot train to carry passengers/visitors along the street if tired. I do recommend in-house breakfast be included in you room booking. Bouquet to Concierge Mr Justin who is not only tall at almost 2m, he was very helpful.

This Hotel does not have room(s) cater for 2 adults with 2 children; only 2 adults plus one child. My daughter family of 4 (children aged 3 & 5) booked another hotel room 5 mins walk away from us. No issue though.
