We loved the property. The gardens were well maintained. It was quiet and the other guests were very nice and friendly. The pool was great and the proximity to the beach was the BEST part! Eduardo, the caretaker, was great even though there was a bit of a language barrier it was still easy to communicate any issues or questions.

We had a couple glitches with the water but that was quickly fixed. The WIFI was a little in and out but overall those were minor.

The place was quiet and peaceful, away from the business of Tamarindo, yet close enough to everything we needed. Staff were friendly, especially Eduardo! He was so helpful.

First night the water pump went, so we didn't have water for a while, but we made due. Also wifi was off for a while one day, which wasn't really a big deal. We weren't there to be on our phones! It did make it difficult to check in with loved ones back home though.

the only feedback I have is that it would be nice every few days a quick turnover of the room by staff (towels, garbages, etc). We were here 2 weeks and no one wants to do more than they have to on vacay!

Exceptional location (very close to beach access). Well-maintained grounds and attentive staff. Extremely safe due to gated entrance. Pleasant and clean pool. Peaceful and quiet. Calm base to return to after visiting the livelier side of Tamarindo during the day or evening - all within walking distance.

Parking is tight within grounds, especially when multiple cars are present. There is street parking, however, which is fine. Agree with another reviewer that first floor suites may offer greater privacy. Shower pressure was fine for me but understand this could be problematic for those with longer/thicker hair. Still a great place, no doubt.

Our family loved the pool, which we had mostly to ourselves. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The full kitchen was great. We enjoyed that the location was just a touch off the main area so it wasn't as busy. Beautiful hotel, path that leads right to the beach.

Our kids slept in the second bed, a small futton, it was hard in spots and quite uncomfortable, otherwise a perfect stay.

Perfect location. Easy walk into town but away from the crowds. Beautiful gardens and palm trees giving just the right amount of shade down at the pool.

You were provided only 1 key for the gate and your unit which was awkward if you were doing something on your own.

Very modern comfortable hotel that had everything we needed. The manager and staff were very helpful and kind, and made sure all our questions were answered quickly. We loved our walks on the beautiful Tamarindo beaches!

This location is perfect…the beach is about a 2 minute walk right down a path to Tamarindo Beach. Restaurants and grocery store close by. The manager and Eduardo were super helpful with whatever we needed! The rooms are clean and spacious. They had beach chairs we could take down to the beach which was nice. The patios are perfect for spending most of your time.

Our stay at Casa Sueca exceeded our expectations. The rooms and property were very clean and well equipped. The pool was so lovely and just a walk across the street to the beach. And Elodie and her team were exceptionally helpful and made our trip even better! Elodie helped us book multiple adventures and they were all above and beyond what we were hoping for!

the pool area was amazing. The apartment was super spacious and everything you might need is available. The shower got nice and hot and the AC system worked great. WiFi was perfect. Just a few steps away from the beach and 5 min walk from city center. Gated property which is always a plus. Highly recommend. thanks to all the staff.
