The Apartment is bang opposite to the Prague Main railway station and this is the best thing . For anyone arriving from Vienna, or by train and leaving early morning by train, this Apartment is ideal!!!!!! There is also a tram station to Letna park, Prague palace , nearby. Wenceslas Square is very close..... Just around the corner, you can find: The National Museum, Old Town Square, main shopping streets Parizska and Na Prikopech, Myslbek Mall and Palladium mall, and many more. Old Town square has many restaurants which we used for our lunches and dinners.... There's a BILLA at old town square....Where you can buy groceries for breakfast .. or just walk to the train station which has a beautiful café under the dome. Families with children would love this Hotel as there is a children's play area just opposite to this Apartment. The internet speed was excellent. The whole apartment seems to be newly renovated. There was always someone at the reception, so we felt good to be received by people . They also were eager in helping us with instructions for using gadgets and moving around the city. It has an elevator to the higher floors, which is a saving grace, as we had a lot of luggage. Just for caution...for my travelling friends... after you enter the building , you have to carry luggage for some 8 to 10 steps for the elevator.. . It was no problem for us or anyone, but I am writing for senior citizens or wheel chair bound people . We liked the facilities provided by Franz in our room. There is a small efficient lobby as you enter for shoes , coats and suitcases to unload, so your luggage doesn't need to come in the bedroom. The living room doubles up as a bedroom for children with sofa beds, but they are very comfortable. It has a fully functional kitchen with , crockery, cutlery and basic pots and pans. They have a microwave, dishwasher and dishwashing tablets provided. We will definitely return and stay with Franz Zeitrum!!!

nothing to fault just to bring to the notice of fellow travellers.... The rooms were compact and just enough space to move around. There is one well equipped bathroom for two rooms... ...though it was not much of a trouble. We got a room facing the side chimney and no balcony .... The view was nothing great....from our room. Next time we arrive, we will book for and ask for the road facing room in advance. We will definitely return to Franz Zeitrum !!!

- The reception staff were fantastic, Lana was super helpful with any questions I had. - The housekeeping staff were also quite friendly when I would bump into them and say hello. - The location was also quite good, a very short walk from the Train station and as we were flying out it was also easy to walk back to the station and get the direct airport shuttle bus. - It was a nice neighborhood even if you ignore the people who clearly need institutional help around the train station. - A short walk to old town with easy access to public transport all around. - I don't remember a full supermarket nearby however, the train station has several minimart type of stores as well as fast food and pharmacies should that be required. I would suggest however exploring the rich food culture Prague has to offer within a few blocks of the accommodation. - The room was clean and spacious enough to for two people. The landing room had plenty of space for luggage and to hang clothing. - The washing machine and dryer down stairs were helpful as it meant we packed less and simply washed our clothing when needed.

Genuinely not much to complain about during our stay, the only issue were other loud guests being rude but that's nothing to do with the accommodation itself.

The location is right opposite the main station. There are many restaurants and one big supermarket in the station itself. There is a children’s playground right opposite which was a blessing for us. The place is Walking distance to the main attractions. We stayed there for 4 nights and happened to use taxi just one day on our way to the airport. The apartment was on the 2nd floor and has a lift. The kitchen was small with microwave, kettle and very limited cutlery. Air conditioning is good. They cleaned our room after 2 days which was a good surprise.

There were 8-10 stairs at the entrance before taking the lift which was not mentioned at the time of the booking. There were chargeable washing machines on a separate floor. No basic spices like salt/pepper.

Venue is an old town house of the traditional turn of the 20th century style. Do not expect it to be like a hotel chain. This is more an apartment for those who are prepared to do things for themselves. That said, from reception it was possible to buy bottled beer, soft drinks and snacks (these were in a locked fridge). The location for access to both the main train station and public transport is excellent. The room was massive and there was a decent sized lift. Staff were helpful.

The venue is not wheelchair accessible. We travel with a folding manual wheelchair so could deal after a fashion with the access issues: the venue has several stairs, steps and raised wooden room/corridor dividers to be negotiated. This is also problematic if you have bulky/large/heavy luggage.

Apartment is located 7min walking distance from old town. It includes full equipment. It' clean and very comfortable. I definitely recommend.

No parking spot available even though I requested in advance.

location, facilities, almost anything you want it all have. big room, comfortable and silence. they even got kitchen. only the price is not kind.

The location is very practical, convenient, and felt safe at all hours of the day and night. It was also surprisingly quiet. Which was a real plus. There are all the basic things you'd need, in fairly good condition (table, two chairs, fridge, kitchen with some appliances and utensils, etc.). In general quite clean. The staff was rather friendly. (EDIT, Sept 2024: Because there was a problem with the air con (see below), we were later contacted and offered a kind and professional apology, and an unexpected discount on our stay.)

(EDIT, Sept 2024: Regarding this air con problem, we were later told that, at the time of our stay (August), repairs had been delayed by a defective part replacement being ordered but taking longer than expected to arrive. In short, we had booked this accommodation based on location and the fact that there was air con advertised (we don't often care for this criterion, but during a heatwave with a minimum of 32°C+/90°F+, we felt it was needed in this case), but there was no air con on several floors. There was already a fan in the room (it didn't help much), so the situation was known, but it was not disclosed when we checked in. We were left frustrated with the situation. Hotel situated across the park from the train station (less then 2min walk). Two wide flights of stairs to reception and then lift to room. We got upgraded and stayed on the 5th floor with a balcony displaying nice views over the park. Large lounge/kitchen area (fridge, dishwasher, stove top and microwave), washing machine and great heated towel rail. Thoughtful welcoming letter and chocolate on arrival. Very comfortable stay and could have easily stayed for longer.

Trains were more noticable with windows open (ear plugs provided- although weren't required, didn't stop our sleep).

It was all in all a nice stay at Franz by Zeitraum. The room was clean, modern, spacious, and has evething we need. Convenient location - right opposite to the main station, and still not far away from the city centre.

Strangely every now and then when we wanted to adjust the heating temperature in our room, sometimes it didn't work (apparently once you make an adjustment you will have to wait for an hour or even more to make an adjustment again?). Therefore it was a little cold the first night for us, as we turned it down after checking in (but later at night we tried to turn it back up but it didn't work).

Hotel Review: I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Prague, and I must say, the experience was quite enjoyable. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, with high ceilings that gave it a grand ambiance. The heating system was excellent, and even though the temperature outside was freezing, I never felt cold, especially in the well-appointed bathroom. One of the highlights of the room was the balcony, offering a stunning view of the surroundings. However, initially, I encountered an issue with the balcony door, as it wouldn't open. Fortunately, the staff promptly addressed the problem within two days, and I was able to fully enjoy the balcony during the remainder of my stay. The location of the hotel was incredibly convenient, as it was just a stone's throw away from the central train station. This proximity made it easy for me to explore the city and also provided access to a supermarket within the station premises, allowing me to conveniently purchase food and other essentials. In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel for its spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent heating, helpful staff, and convenient location near the central train station. Despite the occasional street noise, my stay was pleasant, and I would gladly choose this hotel again for future visits to Prague.

The only minor drawback I encountered was that since the room faced the street, there was occasional noise. However, it was infrequent and didn't significantly impact my overall experience.
