1) The staff is very kind. The guy of night shifts (over 22:00hr) was so patience, kind. The staff of the restaurant always ready to help, to move dishes away, to keep the facilities always clean.

1) The pillows are not comfortable. 2) The position of the shower is not the best, because when we took a shower, the water fell down outside the bathtub, so to avoid it, we had to find a position to avoid it. 3) the hight of the bathtub is too high for get out, over all for elderly people. 4) At breakfast, no much variety of fruit, just bananas and apples. We would like to get some oranges for example.

Right next to the central station, and within walking distance of most of the major attractions. Hotel itself is a beautiful old building with a grand staircase public starcase, and lift. Has a creative approach to the concept of double glazing. I picked the hotel because I had stayed there 20 years earlier, and wanted to see what had changed. I'd be happy to stay again if I visited Prague a thrid time.

There are two tramlines outside the hotel. I didn't find them very loud on the second floor, but they do make the floor vibrate noticably when they go past. It didn't bother me, but something other travellors might want to be aware of. Breakfast was a little basic, but functional. The rooms really should come with a fan to help guests cope with warm weather. My shower was leaking onto the floor throughout my stay. Reception was told twice, and were unable to resolve the issue. Given some of the vissible damage, it looked like the leak had been going on for a long time.

Perfect location 5 min walk to train station, 5 min walk to main shopping strip, 10 / 15 min walk to old town. Close to lots of shops and restaurants. Good standard breakfast. Basic but functional rooms. Lovely ornate central staircase. Would recommend to anyone wanting a low cost hotel in the centre of Prague. Would definitely stay again!

Hotel and rooms are very hot! There’s no air conditioning anywhere. We arrived early and kept our window open all day and night to let the fresh air in. This wasn’t really a problem for us but could be for other people.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is very close to the city center, it was 15 minutes walk to the astronomical clock. And tram stops are very close, so it is easy to travel to further locations. Breakfast was good, there was some variety. It offered fruits, some vegetables, eggs, sausages, flakes, stuff for sandwiches, tea coffee and little deserts. Enough variety for my stay (which was 5nights). Room is small whatsoever. Bed, one chair, tiny desk, one cupboard and bathroom. But its okay, because we spent almost all days outside :) Room had an electric kettle! That`s a plus for sure, although, I would love to have a fridge as well. We had a room with a view to other side of main street with trams, so we did not hear them at all, but maybe we were lucky. View from room was into another building, but it is the city center, so it`s ok I guess. Elevator inside was available.

The building itself is not new. It has an okay condition, but it is not fresh. Although I had window opened often, it was still kind of stuffy in the room. Would like to have fridge in the room and maybe a bigger table to eat.

We made reservation for 2 days and extend it for 3 days cause we love it 😍 the person on the reception was helpful. The location is great it is walk away to old town and famous places. Also it is close to tram and bus stations Main central bus station is just 8 min away by walking . If you come by bus from another city , you can find by walking, no need to use transportation. Room : room was clean , housekeeping changed the towels and took the garbage every day . But we didn’t want to change the towels everyday unnecessarily cause we love the planet 🌎 Breakfast : 🍳 amazing , you can have eggs 🥚, jams , ham, sausage , even English breakfast, coffee , any type of teas☕️ Thanks for everything

The building is atmospheric and rather charming - my room had a cute little balcony facing into the shaded court yard, a clean and serviceable bathroom with a good shower and a comfortable bed. Location is very convenient for weary travelers, just a few hundred metres from the train station. It's also well situated for sight seeing. I arrived in the evening, then took a very pleasant stroll through the old square (where there was a fantastic beer festival), across the Charles Bridge and up to the castle. The city is beautiful, especially on a warm spring evening. Good breakfast too. Overall a memorable stay - not bad for a solitary work trip! will come again, next time for more relaxation, more beer and less work

The gentleman who manned the reception desk was a real credit to the hotel. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The location is ideal with a tram stop just outside and so much within walking distance. I would recommend good, comfortable walking shoes, a must! Public transport is both very affordable and extremely reliable.

It was very humid at night, after being very hot during the day, so air conditioning or even a large fan would have made a huge difference and helped aid sleeping.

Perfect location, very close to the old city center and also the main train station. Very comfy bed. Breakfast is OK, not a very wide variety of food, but tasty.

Street side rooms are very noisy, several trams stop right in front of the house, and also party people were making a lot of noise, shouting and singing every night. No air conditioning, nor fridge in the room. Reception staff was very rude, speaking very little English. Never even saying a hello, or answering to my greetings.

Review of sat 23.12.23: Room 301 hotel Zlatá Váha Prague Czech Republic. Spacious hotel. Moved from room 1106 to room 301 due to tram noise. 301 is a paraplegic room that was only available. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Rooms are warm and heated. The bathroom is spacious. Basic furniture. No safe or coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast had a variety. Close to the main train station. Ladislav at the reception was very helpful and accommodating towards us. Free Wi-Fi is available. Tantuni Kebab Friendly staff. Tasty food. On the tram route. Traditional Turkish meals. Enjoy with Ayran drink. Open till late. Thank you in the Czech language: Děkuji vám.

I liked the location, it was close to the central bus station and to the old town square as well. Both the room and the bathroom were spacious. Although the room looked a little old the bathroom looked like it was recently renovated. The property is being maintained very well. Our room was in the third floor and we had a nice view of the park in front of the hotel from our window.

The breakfast could be a lot better. There were limited options for vegetarians. There was no toaster for the bread which made it very hard to apply butter which was cold as well. The juices were not good either. Another thing I didn't like is that there is a tram line in front of the hotel and the passing trams disturbed my sleep a little. But the trams stop at some point and it is not a big deal to be honest, just a slight inconvenience.
