Good location with plenty of facilities on site

The IBIS chain is a guarantee for me and here in Prague at the Old Town it was yet another confirmation. Rooms big enough and really comfortable beds. The staff is kind and professional to be the envy of everyone. Everything is well kept and clean. Super breakfast. The structure is practically in the center, in five minutes on foot you can reach the central square of the old town and Wenceslas square. Highly recommended. Very easy to reach from the airport (I'll show you how I did it): take bus 100 to the Zličín metro station, from there take the metro (yellow line) to the Namesti Republiky station.

I like where it is located. It is almost 10 minutes of walking distance to the famous places/buildings of Prague. Breakfast was really good without hesitation. Rooms were good enough. Shower and bathroom were also good size and functional.

RECEPTION and RECEPTIONISTS. They were disaster. I think they believed themselves as working in army and the way how they treat customers were in that way too. Like we were their soldiers. I don’t how a hotel like Ibis doesn’t care those feedbacks from customers.

The location is great, just in the city centre! The room was convenient and clean. During breakfast, we were given a wide range of meals. Everything was delicious! My son appreciated fruits (water melon) and oats porridge! )) As well, my son likes playing the guitar, so it was great to see some in the lounge and be able to play. ))

In my opinion, there were some things the room lacked. For example, it would be great, if there were a small fridge, a safe and a towel dryer in the room. ) One more small tip - it would be great if you could maintain the guitars regularly, e.g. to change the strings. )

right in the centre of Prague Old Town within waking distance to all the “must see” spots in Prague. if you don’t mind to walk, you don’t even need to take local transit other than the ride from/to the airport…. even the main train station is only 15 minutes walk away. subway stations are nearby which can take you too the sightseeing spot away from downtown. The buffet breakfast at the hotel is great value. you can just purchase the voucher when ready. interior and room are clean and tidy.

ventilation is a little weak but you can always open a window.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of where all the action is. The convenience of being so close to everything made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were lovely and impeccably neat, providing a comfortable and cozy atmosphere for relaxation after a long day of exploring. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure our needs were met throughout our stay. I can confidently say that we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in a prime location. I look forward to returning in the future!

Bathroom doors should have lock.

Location was fab! close to tram, metro and mall. there are loads of restos/cafes near by where you can eat. groceries are nearby too! Buffet was ok.

Staff at the reception could be more helpful. There was an old lady asking where to buy metro tickets. The guy just said outside! Map could be printed in colour. The cleaners are more polite than the reception people: they greet you always whenever they see you. Just to mention, it is more presentable for the staff to wear trainers than slippers/slip ons/slides whilst at work, it’s more professional looking. i

The hotel is near Palladium Mall with lots of caffes and an entire food court. Also one can find Lidl and Billa in the neighborhood. Very well connected with the public transport (metro, tram, bus) and easy to get to the airport. Public transport is free in Prague for seniors over 65 years! The hotel is very near the city centre and the touristic attractions.

Lack of customer care for the receptionist(a young guy) on duty in the evening of 14.03.2024. No patience with the clients, lack of information about the forms one has to sign, which is one full page of small printed sentences, etc The rest of the receptionists were nice. Our room faced the internal court but as we spent little time in the room, it was not disturbing.

Location is the best a person can ask for. Adjacent to a very good shopping mall, short distance from old town and all locations,restaurants public transport. Really superb location. Friendly and helpful (despite being very) busy staff. Clean comfortable quite specious. All around great experience. Strongly amd warmly recommended. There is parking available for pay and a very reasonable priced and great service for a hotel taxi to the airport.

The hotel is a budget Ibis, that means, is cheaper but at the cost of some services. There is no mini bar in the rooms, and the bathroom in the rooms is like a capsule (don’t get me wrong, it is not uncomfortable; but it seems like the building is just empty squares and the architect just puts giant pods that contain the whole bathroom inside (shower, toilet, etc.). There is no room service also, nor air conditioner (the room maintained a nice temperature though, outside it was 30 Celsius but it was pleasant in the room). The hotel es conveniently located just in front of a bus and a tram stop, and is half a block away from a subway station. So you can get almost everywhere without walking too much. There is a supermarket called “Bella” one block away and a huge mall called “Palladium” 50 meters away. The hotel has a bar and serves breakfast, but we didn’t try them. Prague’s old main square (where the astronomical clock is located) is just five blocks away, so if the day is nice you can just walk there (it’s a very nice walk). And Charle’s bridge is 10 blocks away (it takes you around 35 minutes to get there from the hotel, but is also a nice walk). There are restaurants (three or four) on the same street the hotel is at, and a couple of Kebab places should you like to eat something less fancy. Overall we had a good experience. We think the price was fair and the room was clean and comfortable.

There is no air conditioner in the rooms, nor mini-bar. Ather than that, it was a pleasant experience.
