Amazing location right in the old town. Full of bars, nightlife and things to do. Metro station nearby. Very cheap price compared to the competition, especially the economy room which is small, but very clean. Great breakfast with lots of cooked options and vegetables

Walls were a bit thin, depending on your neighbours you can hear a lot of noise. Small bathroom and sink. Might seem a bit outdated for some, but it has it's charm. Bed was not that comfortable.

Very friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

Reception closed at 5pm. Therefore, luggage had to be collected from the left luggage room before 5pm.

From the moment I first arrived there was a wonderfully friendly vibe all round. My single room might have been small, though everything I needed was there, but the welcome was massive as were the buffet breakfasts. Apologies to the restaurants of Prague but most days I could fuel up for a day’s exploring and return shattered to my bed having not managed to burn off all the calories I’d taken on at breakfast. The room may have been small but the bed was so comfortable some mornings I didn’t want to get up even after the bells of Prague’s nearby churches had roused me from my slumber. Shower perfect. All other room facilities spot on.

Size wise I might have preferred more room but no grumbles there apart from maybe the television which lacked any English channels. Then again I only really had it on for company.

On a safety point of veiw, there is no fire alarm system or dectectors in the hotel at all, and as the building is unmanned by staff at night this is a serious safty issue, should a fire break out in a unoccupied room then it would engulf the whole 4 floors of the hotel with no warning to the guests. There is no 2nd fire escape only the main staircase and again if this were blocked it would be a disaster. Its a shame because this is a great hotel and place to staytherwise.

Cleanliness was spot on Staff were brilliant all of them The location was just right soon got to know quickest routes to everything Very efficient system with keys to come and go as you please And luggage room for last day was also a plus

Hot breakfast scrambled egg always good and hot ,,(beans and fried egg) always cold Sausages were terrible as if warmed from day before ( like chewing leather ) Cups in rooms were like thimbles like you had arrived in Alice in wonderland not much point having a kettle really and no socket to plug kettle in to only at other side of room

I had an amazing stay at the Old Prague Hotel! The location was absolutely perfect, just a short walk from the main square, making it easy to explore all the beautiful sights of the city. The hotel itself is charming and full of character, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable – truly a home away from home. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague, especially for its prime location and excellent service. Would definitely stay here again!

Staying at the Old Prague Hotel bequeathed us an undeniable feeling that it truly has an alluring heart. Its delightful warmth with cozy rooms offers a rich blend of an old-world charm with modern comforts. The people managing the facility were ever so cordial and understanding. They not only willingly arranged a taxi service to reach us to the airport on time; but also ensured that a generous breakfast was packed for the journey. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious and filling breakfast. To cap it all, this hotel is so conveniently located that it is easily accessible to all major tourist attractions.

Great location, only 15 min walking from the train station. Lots of restaurants couple of minutes away, all sightseeing are walkable. Very clean, charming deco, big rooms, and the best breakfast. We had to leave on our last day very early so they packed us breakfast the day before and left on the fridge, it was super convenient as we didn’t have time to get any food before our train trip back home. Very friendly and helpful staff.

There is nothing we didn’t like about the property, but only one thing is the nightclub next door that we could hear the music all night, but only if you open the window.

The location is excellent! At most, 10min walk to almost all the points of interest in Prague for tourists. Staffs are friendly. They gave me an extra pillow like I asked. They also got elevator and provide breakfast. ☺️

The hot shower was disappointing—it took a while to warm up, and even then, the water pressure was barely a trickle. Oddly, the pressure was fine with cold water. I also found a used sock on a shelf, which was unpleasant. The room had an A/C, but it wasn’t available for use because the heater was already turned on in September, even though it was still warm in September. I woke up sweating twice, even with the window fully open.

The hotel is centrally located, with loads of restaurants around it as well. The room is old style, but cute and clean. Not really a minus, but I couldn't figure out why the double bed was made with 2 separate sheets and covers, not as one. There is AC in the room as well, free of charge. Breakfast is basic but not bad, and the staff speaks very good English and is friendly

I didn't like the way they deal with the luggage; you are given the key to a room to put it away yourself, with no checks on who's taking what, and the room is not monitored either. This can create serious issues if someone takes someone else's luggage, on purpose or not. I've worked and stayed in several hotels myself, and I've always taken the luggage myself, put a tag on it, and gave a ticket to the guest for later collection.
