I've just stayed for 7 nights at the Old Prague Hotel and I loved it. From the beginning the receptionist Sara was excellent. Really friendly and helpful. My room was on the 4th floor and very quiet at night. It was beautifully clean with coffee/tea making facilities and a fridge which was a real bonus. The bed was comfy if you like a firm mattress which I do.. The breakfast was plentiful with a great choice of everything you could want. The position couId not be better. 5 mins stroll from the Charles bridge or St. Wenceslas Square. I really couldn't fault this hotel at all and would certainly return if I go back to Prague .

There was nothing I didn't like. It's a lovely traditional Prague hotel.

Location was a 6 min walk to old town Staff are amazing and kind and really want you to have a good holiday Thank you in Czech is Dekuji (pronounced jeck-wii) nice to be able to say to really helpful people Room was impeccably clean, beds comfortable, good hot water, kettle & fridge in room. Got ezact room I booked matches the photos Breakfast is hot and cold with coffee, tea & cakes - fried scrambled and boiled eggs, hash browns, frankfurter sausages, breads, cheese, cold meats, yogurt, butter, Nutella... Something for everyone Hotel has 30 rooms so it's less busy than others - one lift - but the stairs is really comfortable to walk (wide with good bannisters) Everything in this older hotel has been lovingly taken care of, (feel like I'm back as a child on holidays with my parents) Restaurant nearby Beef Bar around the corner is great and reasonably priced Will stay here again

Reception staff were very helpful and informative. The room was clean but rather dated. Free tea/ coffee facilities were provided in the rooms as well as a free safety deposit box. Breakfast offered a range of foods from cereals, pastries, and cold and warm foods. The location was great, perfectly placed for easy access to all places of interest within walking distance, but quiet enough for a good nights rest. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

At breakfast, the 'hot' food was only luke warm and not replenished often enough. Tip... turn the shower on 5 mins before use as it takes a while to warm up!

It was exceptionally clean, white crisp clean bedding, towels changed every day, the cleaners do an exceptional job, it’s a old building and must be hard for them to keep in such a lovely condition. They really do an excellent job. The breakfast staff were very friendly and the choice of food and the way it was cooked was amazing. Over all a first class service and would highly recommend not to miss the breakfast.

The only thing I would say is that if you are disabled the lift is small and goes from The middle of the staircase flight due to being such an old building. This is not a problem at all but if you have a wheelchair you do need to go up or down one small flight of stairs.

The hotel was in an excellent location for site seeing. The room was very warm and clean. The bathroom (especially the shower) was a very good size. The breakfast was very nice and the staff that we met were very friendly. We arrived to the hotel early but our room was ready which was great! And we were able to leave our bags in a luggage room when we checked out so that we could do more site seeing that morning. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

The water was cut off one morning and I wanted to ask someone at reception about it but no one was there until nearly 10am. The water returned that evening which was fine.

Great value for money and a wide variety and excellent breakfast. Really liked the room it’s an old style hotel with wide stairs that make the place look Grand. It also has a small lift if you up a few levels. Robert the manager is really helpful and local knowledge is good. All the staff are really welcoming. It’s only 2 mins from Mustek metro and then just one stop and a change of line for Museum and onto Prague central railway station. Heaps of eateries and shops within a few meters. It’s also right near the main attractions like the Astronomical clock and never ending sights. 🇦🇺🇦🇺 From Northern Territory Australia

Could not fault for the money

Old Prague Hotel has a friendly and authentically historical atmosphere. It's in Prague's Old Town. Its location is excellent, as it's only 5-5 minutes away from Můstek metro station and Národní třída, making it very easy to reach any part of Prague by metro and various trams. There are plenty of attractions nearby: just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, you'll find the Bethlehem Chapel, the Astronomical Clock (Orloj), Franciscan Garden. Even Charles Bridge is just a nine-minute stroll away. The rooms in this 19th-century building are spacious and tastefully furnished in a historical style, reminiscent of the turn of the century with curtains, wallpapers, and textiles. However, the room also incorporates modern amenities such as well-functioning air conditioning, numerous power outlets, comfortable beds, reading armchairs, ample storage, good lighting and a spacious bathroom. The room was meticulously cleaned daily and the bed was beautifully made. My room on the fourth floor was particularly beautiful and quiet. The hotel's windowed elevator indeed stops at half-floor, but it's easy to go down the comfortable, carpeted stairs without much strain, even if you have sore feet. Breakfast was served in two sunny, bright and airy rooms. There were many tables of various shapes and sizes to choose from, and the selection was wide-ranging (yogurt, pudding, pies and cakes, sweet and savory pastries, fruits (such as watermelon, cherry, banana), vegetables, cheeses, cream cheeses, salami, cold cuts, ham, egg, omelet, sausages, jams, Nutella, teas, coffee, cocoa, fruit juices, milk, etc.), and it varied a bit each day. The receptionist lady was very kind and helpful. Although there was no reception in the early morning and late evening, they provided a key to the entrance door, so I could come and go at any time. They also had a secure luggage storage. The Old Prague Hotel was a great experience. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Very convenient location in the old city. All the main sights are easily reachable on foot. Close to the metro station and to tram lines. Plenty of shops and restaurants around and a supermarket (in the metro station). The staff was polite, friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed for our short stay. The room was very warm, even hot! The breakfast was pretty good with many options.

Our room got very little sunlight as the only window gave onto a small inner court. The bathroom was small, but still okay. Perhaps the price could have been better. Some years ago accommodation in Prague was much cheaper!

This is a fantastic place to stay in Prague. It is very near the centre of Old Town, the river and public transport. My bedroom was traditionally furnished but spacious, spotless, comfortable and well equipped including a kettle, teas and coffee, fridge and safe. The bathroom was smart and clean. The photos don’t do the accommodation justice! The staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast is very good too with lots of choice of fresh food and drinks. We were able to leave our luggage safely as we were flying later on our last day. We were very happy with the hotel and thought it excellent value for money.

We couldn’t think of anything we didn’t like. Although the Reception only operated part time we were equipped with keys and staff were in the building outside ‘ office hours’.
