The location was great, comfort, cleanliness, staff great, awesome matress, yes i enjoyed my stay.

The breakfast item selection seemed very little. The layout / set up wasnt condusive to flow and at times people were cluttering while trying to dish up and waiting for others to be done. Definately more fresh fruit needed. We could not find the bacon - its far from the other breakfast foods and unless one askes you dont know where it is. Rather odd.

The breakfast selection looked very good although we did not eat at the hotel. The room was very clean each day, the towels and toiletries were equally immaculate and the linen was crisp. Entry and exit from the parking into the hotel is very convenient. The wide selection of eating places in the Umhlanga Arch that is adjacent to the hotel is very conveniently located as a social space and offers a sumptuous variety of cuisines!

The kitchen closes relatively early for those who arrive / check-in late and that room service in this regard is not available after 10pm. Whilst there is some provision made in the lobby for light snacks or light meals for patrons who might need to eat something late, the lack of availability of a full meal is not helpful. The hotel should consider offering a courtesy service to and from the airport.

Large comfortable room. Open plan design in relation to wardrobe and washbasin. Toilet and shower different cubicles which is handy when more than one occupying the room. Large picture window with great views across Durban and the beach. Restaurant food plenty of choice all well cooked. Breakfast buffet style with plenty of choice.

Invoice is confusing as they take prepayment and work backwards and giving a refund at the end, required the need to ask for separate invoice for expenses claim requirements. not a long enough stay to try out all the facilities.

The hotel was clean and bustling with a vibrant atmosphere. The food portions were good and relatively tasty. The fridge in our room worked well. The shower was quite spacious. If you have small children, you might like that the pool is shallow.

The first night we requested a bowl and a fork from room service at around 8.30pm. The lady agreed but it never came. The second day we were told we could order drinks to enjoy by the pool but the ladies offering poolside bar services would leave by 7pm. Turned out the whole pool was shut down from 7pm till 6am.

Location was superb and several good eating places just outside. Very safe and comfortable. Close to many amenities.

The surcharge for the see facing room felt unfair. It was not clear that the room we booked was not sea-facing and we were asked to pay extra for a sea-facing room. Staying at the coast and for my kids not to see the ocean felt unfair. I paid the difference, but it was a grudge purchase because at the time of the booking, we could have selected an apartment at the pearls for the same rate. Disappointing that the person checking us in insisted on the additional amount, despite the staff saying that the hotel was quiet at the time.

Location location location. Magnificent location. Easy check in as always, accommodating as well, I mixed up my dates and the hotel staff still accommodated me and made the necessary changes, for which I was grateful. The 12:00 checkout is one of my favs , the food is great, the bar vibrant after a long day at work and the staff was just most amazing. Very safe as well, I forgot to close my windows and I found the security team doing rounds to guard the car and protect my belongings. I was so grateful. Great sea views as well

The environment was excellent. Staff were generally good and welcoming. Of course, there is always the odd one out, Meals were generally good value for money Room was in very good condition did not use the TV much. Complicated with power shutdowns

I booked for room + breakfast + dinner. I also informed the hotel that I was arriving late in the night. On arrival, the kitchen was closed and was told no dinner. The least I expected after informing them of my delays and paying for the dinner, was to keep a snack or sandwich. Both the desk person and the Customer service manager looked at me as someone coming from another planet - that I should ask for dinner after everyone has gone home. So why pay for dinner or why was I asked to inform time of arrival, still remains a mystery to me The other thing, was the power adaptor to connect my square with South African round adaptor. I was told I need to buy one from them

The breakfast was great. Beautiful hotel. Your pictures on the internet does not do justice to the physical building Location was perfect Pool is nice Security is good. It’s a good idea that non access card carry people can go to the rooms

Some of the reception staff members are not so friendly. They do work just get rid of us. Cleaning staff needs to be trained more to do their work properly. Found a mango that had been sitting in the fridge. I believe it had been there for a couple days. I think she is slow in doin her work. We did not get all the towels on the last night. Some blinds are not working properly

The room was superb! They did such a great job making the room comfortable but totally practical, thinking how to use the space best to the ability. All the room facilities were great in the room, certainly well thought out. One would think it would be strange without a bathroom, but the separate shower and toilet idea really works well! The front staff, especially T was so friendly and helpful, she went out of her way to assist us. The breakfast area and food are great! Huge selection and very stylishly done. Great hotel to stay in, would stay here again!

The only thing that would be great, would be towel rails in the room for the towels to dry on. Also, perhaps a little earlier check in. These are really just small things.
