Everything! The nice location, the bed where I was sleeping like an angel… 😃

The room was not as clean as it should be. I‘ve done it by myself with desinfication issues.

Location, staff, facilities-- fun and functional. The patio is gorgeous. Plenty of stuff around the hotel, nice neighborhood, and easily accessible.

No bedside lights.

The most important for us was, hotel was located in very safe district. You can walk at night and you feel safe. If you need to buy food you have The Wholefood store located 1 minute away. Quite big refrigerator will help to cool your drings and food down. Hotel has underground comfortable parking lot. We never had problem to find a place to park our car. You would like to go to Universal Studios Park ? No problem 10 minutes away by car. Santa Monica beach is about 1/2h drive (depends of traffic). If I'm back in LA I will definitely stay in that hotel again.

Lack of wardrobe

It was perfect location to have a good ride to Universal Studio, Hollywood Sign, Beverly Hills was nearby and good to travel. We had a parking slot in garage and paid money, but you can also park outside in front of the hotel. I got everyday free hot water for my oatmeals.

I asked for a silent room, we got a room direct at the highway, which let me feel like being in a racing lane (301). The beds were made everyday but water, coffee and tea were not refilled at the room. The used towels were folded everyday and kept back in bathroom, so we didn't know which towel who's is.

it was right off the freeway, which was so convenient. LA is confusing and this just made it easy especially in the morning. The windows remarkably sound proofed the freeway noise and we slept very well!

this seems contrite, but I’ve stayed at a wide variety of hotels and I can’t think of one time I’ve had to pay for coffee in the lobby. I asked and was referred to the coffee in our room. Brewing room coffee stinks up the room. ultimately paying $3 for lobby coffee with generic creamers was pretty ridiculous.

lovely room, great location. the hotel is modern and was clean. ample parking in the parking lot whenever we needed it. friendly staff. good local restaurants and gas stations nearby. approx 10 min drive from Warner bros/universal city and 20 min drive through the hills to Beverly Hills which was a lovely drive.

we were up early every day (between 7-8am) however there was only ever 1 or 2 pastries left at breakfast. would be good if there could be more there. we could hear the freeway from our room but that was to be expected. otherwise nothing- would happily stay here again!

Staff was very friendly. The location was perfect for us (visiting family) and we could walk to Whole Foods from hotel. The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The hair dryer was great, as was the bottle refilling machine in the fitness center. There was a safe and refrigerator in the room.

We had requested a private room, but we were so close to the street, we could still hear the street noise. None of the vending machines in the hotel worked, so we had to buy gigantic bottles of water from the front desk. It took a long time to get hot water in the sink in the room. We prefer not to have our room serviced by housekeeping, and even though we requested (twice) for them not to come in, they did anyway.

Mariposa is very new and clean. The hot tub is great and I brought swimming pants just for that. There is a nice yard. The shower/tub is big and I like the choice to install huge tank of shampoo so it's more environmental.

The only problem for me is that there isn't a free buffet breakfast. Buffet is very important to me since I have gluten allergy. There is nothing I can eat as breakfast from the limited menu (not just that it's not free). I need hot/cooked meal, but simple poached egg would work, and/or hot milk. They don't have these food. There is also no microwave at all so I can't even heat my own milk although I can store milk in the fridge. I have to make hot water and put cold milk in a cup and put the cup in the hot water just to get warm milk.

Staff is very kind and helpful. Thank you! The location is cool.

In our second room (105, I believe; it was opposite the drinks machine), the carpet is dirty (sticky marks). The dust had not been made. It drops the rating because it was really disgusting (the first 4th room was perfect and very clean). The hot tub water outside is way too hot. It's not pleasant in the heat.

Exceeded my expectations above and beyond. Such a beautiful property. We enjoyed the warm cookies and bags of lavender in the left for guests that were so cutely set out on the hallways tables. The rooms are clean, new, very comfy, spacious and smell great. The Lounge and outside seating area is perfect I love how they open the retractable glass walls to combined both areas. The parking is sufficient and secure. Location a perfect right off the freeway and has a delicious restaurant across the street. Will absolutely stay here again.
