The staff was very polite and helpful with any questions I had. They give me a map of Bordeaux and explain how to look at it
I wish the breakfast was bigger. Croissant, yogurt and coffee and juice, it's for 6 euros approximately. But for example, I dont eat yogurt, then you can make an alternative instead of yogurt: cheese / ham for a croissant or baguette. You can add toast bread as an alternative to toasted bread. Lockers in the basement (when I made a checkout from the hotel and I want to save my backpack for a few hours before leaving for the airport and walking around the city) only for cash coins. Perhaps it would be somehow possible to make an alternative to pay with bank cards (because I was not the only one), or to warn the time of check-in at the hotel so that customers know in advance that they need to leave cash coins.

Hostel is very good located, in the city center. It has a nice bar, room was very nice and clean.
I stayed in a dormitory room and every bed had a little lamp, my lamp was broken and when I came for the night and wanted to read in my bed I couldn't because it was flicking. I told about it in the morning to a receptionist and she answered just- ok! No sorry or anything, just ok, at least to offer a coffee or something! 😄 it was quite surprising. Other stuff members seemed very nice though, very nice girl checked me in and a guy working in the bar was nice and polite.

Excellent location, kind staff and calm atmosphere. Comfortable beds.
My bed had a wind up, wind down shutter (the rest had curtains). Definitely get rid of the shutters or ask for a curtain bed! It was noisy and annoying to use.

Staff friendly. Nice thick curtains to the bunk beds and sensible power/USB socket at the pillow end. Everything clean and tidy.
It's a great central location but seemingly local street people and their dogs use the square immediately outside the hostel as their meeting place and late night drinking/music playing area. Saying that, early in the morning the street cleaning crew come round and remove the debris so it looks pristine again. Their presence could be a bit intimidating to some users of the hostel as they were quite boisterous in the evenings, certainly when I was there.

The hostel can be but praised for its outstanding position in the city center, making all of Bordeaux's major landmarks easily reachable by foot. However, I understand Place Saint Projet can be particularly noisy at night, or at least it was on a Saturday night during my stay. My sleep was troubled by the continual barking of dogs and the loud chats of their (drunkard?) owners. Ear plugs did help, but they couldn't do all the magic The staff was always helpful and caring. Kudos to you guys! :) Good experience with the bed and the toilets / showers' comfort. Overall, good cleanliness standards
Considering its price and what you're given, I found that booking the breakfast was not completely worth it, especially because it is not a buffeted breakfast, but you'll rather have one single item from 3 or 4 categories (meaning: one croissant, or pain au chocolat; one fruit juice glass; one tea, or coffee cup). Not cheaper than walking into some nearby café to have the same (or more)

I stayed at the hostel during my stay in Bordeaux. I had an excellent experience. Location was great, close to everything downtown; good private bed with curtains and hot shower; very friendly and helpful staff. I arrived very early and they were able to accommodate me sooner, which was a blessing. The bar is a nice feature and good to have, specially if you travel solo. I hanged around there before I left town, it was very helpful. Bought cheese and wine next door at Carrefour and I was able to eat it there. They gave me plates and glasses to use and even did the dishes for me. Appreciate that a lot! Special thanks to Arthur!!! I would definitely stay here again if I ever came back to Bordeaux and will recommend it to everyone. Merci!!!
I don’t have anything bad to say.

Central hostel should be the example of how a dorm-hostel supposed to be. Curtained-beds, bed with good height so you do not have to bump your head over the top all the time. Putting a shelf inside of a shower room, this is a top notch — you actually have a place to put your gel, shampoo and even better, the shelf is two-sided which it allows you to put your dry clothes without worrying that it might get wet. Very clean toilet and bathroom. It provides 4 toilets in 1 floor for 4 rooms which is really great. The previous hostel I stayed in Marseille have the same amount of toilet for 8 room in one floor lol. Breakfast was filling. Tower was rented at 3eur. Reasonable price. I rented the tower for 9 euro in a hostel in Nice and Marseille :) They also rent a storage which very cheap priced at eur9 for big storage, enough for 2-3 luggages/bag, for 24 hours. I compared this price with other vendor which is priced at 12eur for 24hrs for only 1 bag Best: price was very reasonable and I can consider it as cheap with such a well-designed and well-managed hostel.
It’s a bit noisy at night as it’s located in the main center area of Bordeaux where people hangout until very late. The soundproofing is not really good. But it’s fine, I can live with it.

The location is in the center of downtown, easy access to anywhere. The price is valuable, clean bed and toilet, comfortable for solo travelers. The lobby is nice to chill and meet some new people here.
On the contrary, there's no laundry and kitchen, so it could not be suitable for budget-limited travelers. Also, the bad smell surrounding the lobby and stairs sometimes due to the old pipe installation. Luckily the staff will help to spray the deodorant to make it smell better.

Great location, clean, there is a bar/cafe below, nice and helpful stuff, nice people in the hostel who wanna sightsee together or grab a beer at the evening, bathrooms were available and clean (three toilets and two showers for each male and female bathroom for three rooms of 6-8 people - I didn't have to wait to go at any time). You could have stored your bag for free if you didn't wanna put it in the locker, they answer the phone calls quickly, there is always someone at reception.
A bit laud from the street but what do you expect from central location.

The showers were really good, rooms were clean and plenty of available bathrooms. Comfortable beds too
The main door to the stairs on the ground floor slams every time and it can be heard upstairs and can wake you despite wearing earplugs while sleeping. The bar downstairs is quite expensive for a hostel bar, a beer for €8 is more than Ireland.
