Beautiful room. Spacious enough for the 3 of us. Exceptionally friendly staff everyday that were very helpful. Free snacks, coffee and tea provided was amazing! Comfortable beds and a gorgeous room. Location was incredibly central with one of the main streets just next door and the closest tram a 6-7min walk away. Will 100% be returning if I ever revisit Bordeaux.

The lift was small and a bit slow, however, given that some hotels do not have a lift, I was happy with what was available and it was in no way a deal breaker.

- the staff is very friendly and helpful - the location is perfect, right in the city center, very close to bus and tram stops - everything is right outside: supermarket, park, stores, restaurants - the reception is open 24/7 - the room has a TV, a kettle - free coffee at the reception

- the room is very small and has a weird shape. But everything is functional and I wasn't around that much anyway; it's perfect for a good sleep after walking all day long - the elevator is pretty small - there is a lot of noise from the hallway and from the outside, so the isolation is not great, But not really a problem for me - no wardrobe, only a small shelf to keep your stuff - no minibar

A warm welcome from the receptionist with dark hair and glasses, and the staff speaks English! Everything was clean and well-maintained (even the hairdryer worked perfectly). Nice view of the main road. Perfect location in the city center. A lot of restaurants and bars around. Breakfast wasn’t very varied, but it was enough for me in the morning. The bed was soft and comfortable, with plenty of pillows—I slept well.

Unfortunately, there was a marathon taking place on Sunday morning, and you could hear people cheering all morning. The walls in the hotel are thin, so you can hear everything from the hallway and a bit from the room next door.

The staff are the jewel of this hotel. World class hospitality and rapid check in even with me arriving at night...took 5 minutes. The room I had has a view on the main street and coffee which made it very Bordeaux like experience. It has the necessary and the bed was comfy that I overslept but they woke me up and allowed me to stay an extra 46 minutes without charging me. I have made a mistake in booking and the lady at the desk was so nice and comprehensive and with the manager they sorted my issue in like 10 minutes. The most important thing free Arabic coffee unlimited and Water at the reception. This was a great experience for me and definitely going back. Thank you again for the night and the morning staff, your way of treating customers will make me always come again

Nothing all was good

Excellent location, a short level walk from the tram station at Quinconnes (tram from station). In the heart of Bordeaux, so only a short walk to most places. Room was not big, but at this sort of price you don't expect to be able to play tennis in a city centre hotel room. Friendly helpful staff, breakfast was fine with gluten free bread freely aavilable.

As others have noted, the sound proofing (especially to the corridor) could have been better. Some street noise but no more than you'd expect on a main road in a city centre.

Great location. Close to most of the centre of the city. Great staff. Very helpful. Good room. Decent size. Clean. Well appointed. Quick response to any issue found with room. Discounted parking at Q-Park across the street, but bear in mind the access to parking is very difficult in larger vehicles. I was on a motorcycle, so had no issues and preferred the security over parking on the street.

Water pressure in room would occasionally drop to nothing then come back. Window frames in 402 are going to need attention, before they rot out.

Fantastic location, very clean, chic room, comfy bed.

Extremely noisy. Every door was banged from when we arrived and continued throughout the night. The cleaning staff continued with this theme crashing about in the morning. Receptionist in later afternoon was far less friendly than the guy who checked us in. It's a rabbit Warren of rooms crammed into an old building, the rooms are great, but sadly so many people and inadequate insolation makes for feeling like you're inside a tin drum.

Lift was very slow and difficult. Property hard to find on the street. Would be great to have disposable shower caps and hair conditioner and i found it difficult without them. There was only one towel and a heated rail would have helped warm the room and dry the towel, instead of asking for an extra towel. Liked the coffee and tea bar at reception area, but prefer natural milk or UHT milk to powder milk, which is very cheap and unpleasant.

The room was lovely, little extras on arrival like chocolate nibbles and little French cakes on arrival at reception. You can fill your water bottle at reception checkin area. Has a kettle in the room which was useful, beautiful outlook onto the square below. The location of the hotel was fantastic and the staff we very helpful and welcoming. Air-conditioned room and everything was clean and beautifully decorated. High recommend.

Nothing, everything was great.

Lovely basic room, very clean with all the basic amenities at a reasonable price We were able to leave our luggage until check in and the staff were very friendly and helpful

The only slight negative was the room on the 4th floor was quite hot with velux windows which we were unable to leave open,as there was some rain and the street below was noisy during the night However, I believe there may have been air conditioning that we could have used but we were only staying one night, so we didn't investigate this
