The location is great, walking distance from the main attractions downtown and very convenient also for public transports. Staff is amazing, super helpful and always warm and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and there was a good storage space. I liked that they offered the also 1coffee and 1 water bottle each every day, it’s a small gesture that makes the difference.

The bathroom was a colder than the rest of the room, and you need to be a bit careful when having a shower because the water might go out on the floor. But nothing major, honestly I would go back there if I went back to Bordeaux.

Very friendly, spoke excellent English, went the extra mile booking taxis, and found out additional information about services further away in France. Helpful - lots of extras to help make our stay more comfortable, i.e... adaptors for NZ chargers, etc. Checked us in early and moved our luggage for us when we arrived early. Simply superb. Also, it was immaculately clean! Our view was outstanding. There was a historic arch just outside our balcony door/window. Walked outside for dinner to an incredible sunset through the arch. Sound proofing was good - once you opened the outside door/window, you could hear the hustle and bustle from the restaurant below.

Nothing!

The hotel location is central and close to many sights and attractions, it also close to a tram stop which is the best way to get around Bordeaux, the room although quite small was fine for a three night stay. We didnt take the breakfast option as there was no breakfast room. The reception staff were always welcoming and helpful. Its a no frills hotel but perfectly fine for a short stay in the lovely city of Bordeaux.

There was nothing to dislike really, the room was a tad small but as said above perfectly fine. There are plenty of nearby places to have breakfast.

We spent our last night in France at Hotel Madame so that we could experience a little of Bordeaux City Centre before we had to go home and we are very glad we did This really is in the centre of everything so it's a great location. We arrived a few hours before check in and the Hotel staff were really helpful, letting us drop our bags off and they let us in our room over an hour early. The room itself was lovely and the large windows really did remind you that you are in the heart of everything. The only bad part was the construction workers starting before 8am in the morning! But that can't be helped by the hotel so it didn't bother us really. The windows didn't have a screen on them but the hotel provides a mosquito plug in so fortunately we didn't get bitten even though we had the windows open for quite a while which we were very grateful for The hotel staff gave some great recommendations of places to eat or things to do. We wish we had more time to try everything they recommended but it's a good excuse to go back and stay longer! The hotel also let us leave our luggage with them after we checked out as we had a few hours until we had to go to the airport. They were also really helpful when we were leaving for the airport and directed us to a much closer tram stop than Google maps did so we were very grateful! We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Bordeaux

Hotel Madame was a quaint boutique hotel right in the heart of the action. The location was great, rooms comfortable with everything you’d need, and the hosts/team were wonderful! We were only in Bordeaux for one day and arrived in the morning (too early for check in) but the hosts kindly stored our bags so we could head out and enjoy the day. They kept us informed when our room was ready and had our bags already in our room when we arrived back to the hotel later in the day. They gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants (which we loved), things to see and transportation tips.

This is a quirky little hotel in an absolutely wonderful part of Bordeaux. Close to shopping, restaurants, sights, great walks! It was my first stop on a month long vacation in France - my French was rusty, I’d never been to Bordeaux, I was on my own and the staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. They gave me suggestions, directions, translations - all with patience and good humor. The room was big, bright and airy. Nice views, with basic furniture (kind of “boho”). - not elegant but comfortable.

It’s a small hotel so my bathroom was very, very tiny. A little hard to find a place for bath things and the shower was miniscule. But plenty of hot water and great towels.

The staff were amazingly flexible and welcoming. They got our room ready for us well before check-in time. They let us leave our luggage before check in and after check out. They had good recommendations for places to go and were helpful in directing us. They also kept us up to date on WhatsApp which was really helpful, and they gave us lots of breakfast options. The location of the hotel is excellent for exploring the old town of Bordeaux.

Only the temperature in the room (very hot!) but it's July, and we were staying on the top floor, so it was inevitable. There are two fans in the room and the door to the balcony and the window opened all the way to allow fresh air into the room which helped a bit.

Lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Bordeaux with everything on the doorstep. The room was spacious with views of the Gambetta square, modern bathroom, comfortable beds and the complimentary Canneles were a lovely touch! The staff is very helpful and friendly, they were all happy to make recommendations. The location is great, the shopping is right around the corner, as are the many restaurants and cafes that Bordeaux counts. All the famous sights and things to do are reachable on foot or by public transport. The tram stops are all within striking distance from the hotel, they will take you around town, but also a bit further afield, including the airport.

The location was perfect - right in the middle of the city, within walking distance of major attractions. The front desk staff was amazing in terms of getting our room ready early, answering any questions we had - very friendly. The room was a little bit on the small side, but consistent with European rooms so we were very happy with it. The windows looked out over one of the squares, which was nice.

Downstairs from the hotel is a restaurant and the hotel overlooks one of the squares, with several restaurants. Therefore it was a little bit noisy at night if you have the windows open. However, if you close the windows it blocks the noise out really well. My husband and I did not really mind but it's a consideration if you need absolute quite to sleep.

We were visiting La Femina Theatre to see the Bootleg Beatles so very handy for that. Plenty of restaurants to cater for our needs, pre theatre, post theatre drinks and breakfast the following day. We also added a walk round the old City area and shops. Despite a rainy drizzly day we enjoyed all that Bordeaux had to offer. The Hotel staff (& owners) were great, easy access/egress, pleasant and informative. Made our stay very comfortable. Nice room, great nights sleep and windows opened onto a typical French City scene, the park, restaurants and people being busy.

Nothing detracted from our experience.
