Great location, wonderful building, staff were amazing. Highly recommend. I believe it was good value for Paris. We had twin double room. Very comfortable and the shower had sparkling lights - tres chic! The staff managed to get us a booking at my top choice of restaurant when I’d been unable to get a reservation. Was delighted with that!

The room was a bit small but that was probably because we had a twin double. There’s no room service or bar. There’s a tea/coffee room that is open all day and a drinks bar that’s open in the evening. You serve yourself and fill out a form to pay later.

Hôtel Monge exceeded my expectations - staff were competent and professional and a special thank you to Salomé for making me feel so welcome and comfortable at check in and during my stay. Overall stay was wonderful, beds comfortable, rooms well equiped and tastefully decorated, breakfast was good, and I loved the honesty bar in the evening where you could have a glass of champagne before retiring for the night. Metro a short five minute walk, laundromat 2 minute walk, elevator comfortably fits two people and luggage. Pictures on website are exactly what the property is like - magnifique!. We loved that we were welcomed so graciously from the staff. It is a beautiful property that is ideally located but what made our stay immensely enjoyable was the hospitality of the entire staff. Well done! They knew they are in the business of hospitality. We also loved that in addition to a beautiful room, the bed was very comfortable. Travelers need a good nights sleep. Thank you for taking care of that very important detail. We plan to stay there again during our next trip to Paris.

This hotel is exceptional. The staff understands and executes hospitality with grace, style, and care. The decor in the rooms and main areas are beautiful. Warm and inviting, a truly beautiful stay in Paris. My husband became unwell towards the end of our trip in Paris and the staff immediately called Dr and they were very attentive. We are forever grateful for the great compassion and care they showed. Thank you!!

Nothing, this hotel, and its staff are exceptional.

The breakfast was excellent. We had the same lady (staff member) there to assist with breakfast all week and she was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. Big smile, lovely greetings and just a great way to start the day. Hot and cold options, healthy options and plenty of choices. There was also coffee, tea and other cold/hot drinks and biscuits/cake available free all day/night in the lounge area. We made use of this feature and it was very welcome. There was also an honesty bar, full of anything you would like. I had a beautiful port and it was wonderful that the hotel does this. We were very impressed. The location is perfect. It's a very short walk to the train station. We used the train network to get around and was well signed and easy to follow. The room was stunning, very nicely decorated, quite modern but elegantly done. Quite spacious room, with a lovely balcony. The bathroom was huge and the 2 shower heads were incredible. Fantastic location to all local restaurants and shops a short walk for some amazing food. Overall we were very impressed with Hotel Monge and especially the staff, they were all excellent 👍. Thank you France, we will see you again x x x

The only thing I didn't like was we had to leave and couldn't stay longer. 😂. There is absolutely nothing negative I could say about this hotel.

The decor was beautiful and everything was very elegantly designed from the built-in bookshelves to the wallpaper in our room and the little accents. When we arrived, there was a handwritten welcome note and even a Christmas bear for my son! The hotel has an intimate feel and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The free coffee, tea and hot chocolate throughout the day is great. Higher-end toiletries were appreciated and my son loved the light up tiles in the shower! The location was perfect to walk to cafes and the Seine, Notre Dame, etc. Right by 2 metro stations a very short walk.

Our room was tiny for 3 people, which wasn't surprising for a European hotel, but we could barely move past each other and were tripping over the luggage since we had 3 larger suitcases. The bathroom was also very small but a nicely appointed space. It would have been a better room for a couple's trip vs. a family, if we had more than one child it would have been tough to manage in that space.

I will start by the amazing welcoming when we just stepped in the hotel. You will feel home at the first minutes. The rooms are very small however I believe this is Paris and most of the hotels are having tiny rooms so make sure you don't carry lot and big luggage as I faced difficulties somehow to find place for them 😄 . Location is nice as it close to 3 metro stations which definitely you will need them in Paris for the transportation.

The hotel was well located. The room was elegant and modern. I also have to mention the shower which had perfect temperature and pressure which is always a nice relief when travelling. The coffee and tea making facilities down in the lounge are well appointed and the machine makes a decent coffee. The location is close to everything you need including metros, laundromats and Supermarkets.

It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room too.

Everything was great! It was impeccably clean, size of the room was ideal, small things like robe and bedroom slippers make a big difference. Loccitaine products. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Located steps away from metro and lots of bars and restaurants (Latin Quarter). Short walk to Saint Germain area. Everything else like supermarkets and laundries around. Very comfortable bed. 24/7 manned reception. Lovely breakfast room and lounge area. There is complimentary use of a hammam but we didnt use it. Would definitely recommend Hotel Monge and stay here again. Ticks all the boxes and is fuss free.

We loved the breakfast and the variety of food. Loved having coffee bar open and available all day too. The servers were very friendly. The location was very quiet even tho a busy street, especially in the evening, mostly walkable to sights which we loved. Emilie and Salome (spelling?) we’re the two amazing staff who helped us at the fronts desk. They are exceptional! Thank you to Emilie for emailing us when we left something in the room. So appreciated!

It was a perfect stay. Highly recommend. It was pricier than any of our other destinations this trip but was totally worth it!
