The location is fantastic, a short walk to the Pantheon, Notre Dame and Louvre, metro is easy to reach other areas. There are plenty of eateries around the hotel too. The staff are polite and helpful, it was spotlessly clean. It is a city centre hotel so expect noise, however the windows were incredible, no street noise to speak of, yes you can feel and hear a little of the metro, but not much and would happily stay again.
The hotel itself is great, but felt a little cheated by the advertisement of the room. It states âsupreme doubleâ with a picture of a beautiful sweapt room with a sofa and spacious bathroom, what we got was a box room with a small en suite which was pleasant, but standard at best, still a great base for the city, but not what was advertised, so my expectations were dissapointed. I did ask at reception if we were in the correct room, with a smirk was told everyone thinks they get that room but no, we were in the correct one, so maybe dont call standard doubles âsupremeâ along side a picture of a much bigger room. That said, for the location, comfort of the bed and 24/7 staff, it was still good value.

I have been to Paris before, in the 60s, so a lot has changed since - nonetheless I liked everything. Even the teeny tiny lift (or elevator)! The hotel is genuinely old and of the period and elegantly decorated, so expect rooms which are not enormous - but no smaller than others of the same period. I had a tree-lined street view - of Paris, what more could I ask? The reception staff were lovely, helpful, thoughtful and humorous. The 5th Arrondissement is perfectly convenient. A short and delightful walk to the Seine and Notre Dame de Paris, to absorb the amazing progress being made on the restorations, walk the Boulevard Ste Germain and other notable roads. And dont miss âShakespeare & Coâ , still operating in an area of bookshops (whoâd âa thought?). I could possibly have arranged to visit when the weather was less wet, but then I gave one of the hotelâs provided umbrellas an enthusiastic work-out.
There was nothing - and nobody - I didnât like. Thanks everyone for making my stay so enjoyable.

Nice staff, good breakfast and location.
Before the trip we asked for brighter room (not with the view to the wall) and they promised to give us room with the street view. However, when we arrived, we had got room on the second floor with the view to the wall :) The second day they let us switch the room. So make sure that youâll get what youâve been promised and donât be afraid to talk with staff.

This hotel is quaint and charming, and the location in the Latin Quarter was perfect. We walked from the hotel to Notre Dame, Jardin de Luxembourg, the Pantheon, and much more. La Table des Ecoles, directly across the street, serves delicious meals, pastries and coffee, not to mention cocktails. Our superior double room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel staff was warm and so helpful with everything from calling taxis to restaurant recommendations to directions and more. We fell in love with the Latin Quarter and the Hotel Minerve and would definitely stay again.
There was no electrical outlet in the bathroom, but there was a full length mirror in the room so that worked for drying my hair etc. The room was smaller than the pictures online would indicate, but I think the bathroom had been recently enlarged and updated. I would trade the updated bathroom over additional room space anytime, but it's something to be aware of.

We had a great 4 nights in this hotel. The room was cleaned every day. The windows overlooked the street, where the main entrance to the hotel is located. We slept with the windows open. The sleep was wonderful. Some people write about noise from the street, but we didnât hear anything like that. There is an electric kettle, tea, coffee and cocoa. There are several metro stations, shops, bakeries and cafes nearby. There is a market nearby, which is open on certain days in the morning. There were no problems with hot water, we used the bath. Complimentary wine available at an additional cost.
Minus: there are only two sockets in the room, one with a kettle, the other with a lamp. No sockets were found in the bathroom. Sockets near the bed are covered by the bed, which does not move (room 307) We booked a "superior double room with one bed" based on the photo - with a red canopy over the bed (probably the top floor), but they gave us a visually different one on the 3rd floor. The room category was identical (probably đ)

The location was the best! The staff were very helpful and kind. We loved our little balcony... very French! And the decor of the room was exceptional!
The fire alarm going off at 10 at night and us being locked out of our room for 2 hours. But now we have something to tell our children! đ

Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and good quality breakfast. Great location! You are able to leave your keys with the front desk when you leave the hotel, and pick them back up when you return - one less thing to worry about.
The room was very humid for some reason - I alleviated this by leaving the window open and using the AC, but it was still uncomfortable for ~30 minutes each time I arrived. Only around one third of the nozzles on the showerhead worked. It was still usable, but the shower experience would have been much better if it was replaced with a new one.

The ladies at the reception were very helpful and sweet. So was the lady who prepared the breakfast. Thank you for your smiling service.
The room smelled nice but it made it a little difficult for me to breathe because I have asthma. Maybe you can evaluate this. The sound insulation in the rooms is weak. The sounds of your upstairs and next door neighbors are loud, especially if they are noisy. There is a slight vibration in the room when the metro passes by, but I got used to it after the first day.

Placed next to the Latin Quarter and was walking distance from the Pantheon, carrefour, a wonderful district for cafes and bars and even a great boulangerie. Overall a fantastic location with straight access to the metro nearby. Also housed in a very beautiful old style building which made it work. Felt like a real Parisian experience with the architecture and the balcony in the room too! View was amazing!
As it was an older, traditional french building, the lift was tiny. It could not fit more than 2-3 people! But it was quite a fun experience for me. There's no mini fridge in the room, but it was winter so it did not bother us. Pillows were not great for my neck personally.
