Just returned from a four night stay at Familia Hotel (solo female traveller). The hotel is small and homely and I felt completely safe. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and gave restaurant suggestions. I really liked the location; it felt safe and provides great access to 3 metro stations where you can get to centre of Paris in about 20 minutes. There is also an abundance of nearby restaurants and bars as well as a garden. There is tea & coffee facilities in the room.

You could hear a lot in the corridors and was woken up a few times when people returned late etc.

We were in August during the Olympics, for 1 night 01.08-02.08.2024. The location of the hotel is super, close to the subway, in walking distance to all the sights. The staff was very polite and gave us an early booking. We liked it very much, everything is clean and cozy. they gave us a room with a balcony outside, it was so nice. We woke up in the morning and had coffee on the balcony. There was also a treat of French wine, sweets and tea and coffee. Also the elevator worked, it's very convenient with luggage

The hotel is in a excellent location in the Latin quarter and is in close vicinity to many attractions like Pantheon. The neighborhood is very lively and I felt safe walking along during night time as most of the restaurants are open and bustling with customers. The front desk staff are very approachable and goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable.

The room is quite small but I liked the washroom which is very clean with all the necessary amenities.

The hotel has an amazing location! It is close to two train stations, there is a bakery across the street, a pharmacy, a little general store, and even a laundromat nearby. The hotel staff was exceptional and made us feel at home!

The building and rooms are older, but we knew that already. There isn't much space in the room, but it was fine. We just needed somewhere to sleep and weren't going to use the hotel facilities. The bathroom is small but functional. It would have been uncomfortable for a large person. The elevator is small, but we were able to use it to get our luggage up the stairs!

Location is great, room was clean. But it was noisy. I couldn't sleep well because of it. Something that you should consider.

Charming, old world Very friendly, interesting gentlemen at the desk. Loved being on the tiny balcony Saw the passing of the Olympic flame on the road - 6 floors below us!!

Would have liked to have had the breakfast, but it was just coffee and croissant; I also wanted juice plus something more substantial to fuel me for all the walking we did each day It was E0:50 - same price as at the hotel in which we’d staged the 1st week. Theirs included baguettes with various meats and cheeses, cereals, yogurt, fruit salad, a selection of croissants- even an oj machine for fresh juice .

Incredible location- equidistant to the Seine and Rue Mouffetard for great food! Handy to have an elevator. Very safe neighborhood with good bus lines within a block.

Only complaint would be that the rooms are quite close together and one night I could hear the door to the stairwell slamming and other guest room doors slamming shut. If you’re a light sleeper, just put on white noise. I appreciated the convenience of having breakfast at the hotel if needed but recommend going to one of many boulangeries close by instead.

The location is fantastic very close to Quartier Latin and Pantheon, with lots of night life and places to drink and eat. Also metro line 10 is very close and there a few bus options too. The room was spotless and they do clean every day if you ask to. Also there are blackout curtains and enough closet space. The shower is very comfortable, roomy and has good water pressure too. The building has an elevator which is not that common in Paris. Lastly at the 6th floor the view of the Notre Dame is very nice. The rooms are much better that what the pictures convey.

The pillows are not comfortable they are very flat and not fluffy. There seems to be a noise maybe coming from the elevator or plumbing which can be annoying and sometimes wake you up.

Clean, great staff, great location, open 24/7, elevator. Everything I needed was there. Also: option to leave suitcases and very large bathroom on ground level if you need to refresh after checkout and before traveling

0 soundproofing - my neighbours weren’t loud but just one door closing and it’s like it was 1cm from your ears! No plug available next to the bed and next to a mirror (for both cell phone and hairdryer )

Everything! Central location, near to cafés, shops and Metro (Cardinal Lemoine), and short walk to Seine and Ȋle de la Cité. Good soundproofing, so room quiet despite overlooking busy street. This is a simple hotel, do not expect plush facilities, but what it has it does well. Comfortable, attractive and characterful room. Kettle in room useful for making drinks. Pleasant staff. Breakfast (€8.5 extra) was a typical French “set” breakfast, but better than I was expecting for the price. This was the most expensive hotel in my three weeks in Europe, and the smallest room, but compared to prices in Paris and several other places I have stayed here this was good value.
