Beautiful setting. The staff (both check in and check out) at the reception were charming and helpful. Mr. Leibrecht appears to lead by example and was welcoming and friendly when we ran into him on the morning we checked out. Even the cat, Blackie was friendly and charming. The whole team puts you at ease. I would definitely look at booking the upgraded rooms where possible as the Chateau is stunning and in my opinion would have provided a better experience if we had booked rooms at the Parc. Review the Chateau's website as it clearly provides an informative view of the types of rooms available across the different buildings. I enjoyed reading about the history of the Chateau and the guests. There is plenty of parking is available on the grounds. The Chateau is within a short drive to an excellent bakery and café which also had friendly welcoming owners and staff.
We should have researched the types of rooms offered more closely. The information is easily found on their website and is very clear on the different types of rooms. We stayed in the Chalet where the room was small and in need of some repairs. The shower room was very small and water temperature did quickly vary, flushing of toilets were noisy and no lift to rooms in this section and only accessible by stairs.

Beautiful building in quiet, parkland setting. Staff were very helpful and able to recommend easy access to the city using the park and ride /trams. Breakfast was excellent, plentiful and varied. Cosy, inviting lounge with free hot drinks together with a small, paying bar for alcoholic drinks.
It would have been nice to have a restaurant there. There was snow on the ground so it would have been helpful to have had a path from the accommodation to the main building, for breakfast and to the reception. The temperature of the water in the shower was erratic and it was difficult to keep the shower head in position. No tissues or hot drink facility in the bedroom but there was a mini bar in the room.

The place is magical. It might have been also due to the time of year we visited (just after new year's day) and all the lovely Christmas decorations and lighting still around, as well as the snow that fell on the night we arrived but there's no doubt the whole complex is beautiful and beautifully maintained. The staff were really helpful, with clear instructions (also in English) and patience for any questions. Dogs are welcome everywhere, including the breakfast area, which for us was a very big plus and made us feel even more welcome and relaxed. The room was generously sized, warm, thoroughly clean, had a spacious shower room and a lovely balcony. The breakfast had plenty enough selection of items, especially if you love cheese, nice herbal teas and perfectly cooked scrumbled egg. It was offered in a lovely area, tastefully decorated with all in all great atmosphere. The area around the chateau and extension is well kept and is beautiful to walk around.
Not much to disike in the standard of accommodation, cleanliness and surroundings. If I had to be picky perhaps a couple of complimentary bottles of water (rather than a single bottle in a double room) and a few treats would have made the room more welcoming. Also there were only two bath towels, which were rather small, for the price/type of accommodation offered.

The château and the grounds are impressive. It’s very peaceful here. We are in the annex which is a more recent building next to the château. The room is nice and spacious. There is a nice little salon attached to the annex where you can have coffee, tea or a drink. There is plenty of parking space on the property.
There was a fridge in our room but it was not working. I mentioned it a few times but nothing was done. I was able to use the fridge at the reception but it wasn’t convenient for us nor for the staff. On the photos of the room there is a small kitchenette in the room. But when we got there that section was locked. When I asked they said it was an extra 10 euros to get access, which is fine, but that should be mentioned on the Booking site.

Stunning well kept sprawling property nestled in residential neighborhood. A bit tricky to navigate in the dark so a navigation app is required. Had access to many chateau locations to take great photographs that ooze old world charm. Cozy sitting rooms allow for guest interaction, and the breakfast was so delicious Th sober recommend you get that when booking as it’s less expensive. Incredible value for a stay in a clean chateau. Have spent more on poor quality hostels than this place. It’s stunning and would recommend to groups, families and couples looking for romance. Staff are friendly and have good communication for arrivals. We arrived quite late and it was not an issue. Ample parking on site.
Nothing can be said.

The breakfast selection was more than sufficient and the dining space was lovely. We didn't miss a hot breakfast at all. The room, though sparse, was comfortable, and spacious, had lovely views, and was very quiet. The walk through the canopy of trees is a delight and we wish we had more time to take advantage of this incredible property.
My husband slipped in the shower and had a nasty fall - a rubber mat or a textured base would work well. We had to walk a 4km round trip to a restaurant at night which could be dangerous - we were lucky it never rained and to be fair it was a lovely walk. A shuttle from the Hotel would be lovely and convenient, and we would have been happy to pay for this service.

The check-in was fast and friendly. The room was in a separate building but very accessible. The room itself was big, spacious and very clean - the bed was extremely comfortable. The environment is very relaxing and outside the city center, at the same time the city is reachable in less than 20min.
There was nothing to complain about. We did not take the breakfast as the price was not worth it, there are a lot of bakeries in the city. The parking was good but we were looking for a place to charge our EV and the hotel charges a fixed rate, which was higher than charging at the public charging stations for us.

Everything about the Chateau exceeded our expectations. The staff is marvelous, the breakfast had a lot of choices which was more than we could sample in two days. We stayed in the “Le Parc” building (room 31) which is newer but has air conditioning and an elevator which came in very handy with suitcases. The chateau is in a heavy forest so bringing a small bottle of DEET bug spray worked out - highly recommend bringing bug spray. There is a Biergarten/restaurant right next to the Chateau which was sufficient for our evening meals after a heavy breakfast at the hotel and hearty lunch in Strasbourg. Will definitely return when visiting Strasbourg area in the future.

This beautiful old elegant chateau was located in a serene and wonderfully green park area. They had bicycles to rent for a very reasonable price. The breakfast was a huge buffet with multiple items to choose from. You had to pay extra for the breakfast but it was worth the price of 14 euros each. There were many outdoor areas to relax in. There was an unmanned bar with various drink possibilities where you could serve yourself on the honor system. You simply noted what you had taken on a piece of paper and the cost was added to your bill at checkout.
The bed was a little soft and the hotel was showing some age. The shower was tiny.

Undoubtedly this hotel has the Wow factor in bucket loads. It is exquisite. The grounds and the rooms and furnishings. The staff are delightfully helpful and explained with maps how to get to and use the Park +Ride. N.B if you have a dog, BRING A MUZZLE. We managed to drive to a vet to purchase one for our dog. They can go on the trams but only with a muzzle. The tram is €4 90 for 2 people to park and ride. Superb value and is about a mile away from the hotel. The excellent 'beer garden/restaurant in the hotel grounds *not part of the hotel* opens at 4pm and is superb. It saved us as the hotel has no restaurant or proper bar. Spray mozzie spray as there are lots. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the beer tents.
We arrived and had 2 days but the temperature hit 35 degrees and we had NO AIR CONDITIONING in the room! The fan was ineffective. We were also on the 2nd floor with a windy staircase and no lift. Phew!
