The hotel is located several minutes away from U5 Museumsinsel Metro Stop. The location is good, walking distance to Alexanderplatz. The room was spacious. The shower was huge and very convenient. It was always cleaned very well.

The staff was very cold. They never greeted their guests. When we arrived, it took two minutes for the staff to even notice us standing in front of them . They took 50€ as a deposit and didn’t provide a receipt for that. We felt very unwelcome. We booked a room with two twin beds, and I wrote them several days later reminding to provide two twin beds, they replied with - we can’t promise that. Then why would you have an option of a room with twin beds in the first place. There was a small kitchen in a room with a sink and electric stove. But there were no utensils to use. That was weird.

We really liked this place. The location is excellent, you are in the city center, well connected to every spot of the city, but it's very peaceful and you can rest after a long day. The bed is super comfortable, and the provided morning coffee was a great addition. Also, it's very clean.

There is a kitchen, but it lacks absolutely everything - no utensils, plates, dish detergent, making it practically useless.

Location is wonderful, walking distance from so many of the major tourist sights in Berlin. I visited the Opera on Unter den Linden and the hotel is perfect for this. The hotel is minutes walk from Museuminsel station on the U5 underground line which makes it very easy to get to if you are coming from the main Central Station (Hauptbahnhof). Which you probably will be if you are flying. Room was good size and air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was nice.

The room and the facilities were very good. But there wasn't enough lighting. I arrived in the evening and I could barely see well enough to unpack. Possibly a problem with the layout of the "junior suite" which had the wardrobe dividing the room in two? No English language channels on TV, not even a news channel. Yes I know this is Germany but you do get lots of international visitors. right?

The hotel was ideally located near Museum Island and only a 5 minute walk from the station. It was easy to navigate to all over Berlin from where we stayed. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good too. We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay here again.

We were disappointed when we came to the hotel bar at 10.30pm on a Saturday night to find that it had closed, even though it says it is open until 1am. Even more disappointing was that we stood there for 15 minutes and the reception staff could see us and didn't say a word.

We booked a suite, and stayed 6 nights ,We didn't take Breakfast, as we don't usually eat much Breakfast, and to be honest the decor isn't really very inviting looks more like a mense or kantine ? But the Hotel position is really great very central and within easy walking distance to the opera "Unter den Linden", the "Museum insel " Dome, and "Humbold Forum", and concert House Gendarmenmarkt , also the big shopping attractions in Friedrichstrasse , a great choice of good restaurants are within walking distance too.

We had a small kitchen area in our suite, but I had to ask for plates and cutlery, which I found a bit strange as there was a fridge and sink etc.....but no plates and cutlery? However the cleaning staff were super friendly and organised all of our special needs immediately .

this hotel is in a government office location near Humbolt University, and not on the tourist route, however it is a great central location to walk from and see tourist locations.. Had both a good sized fridge and a wine cooler, so eating in room is possible and easy but bring your own plates , etc. We didn't use the bar or cafe but both looked inviting. On site gym , again not used, but was available!

weather! The hotel was great.

The location was spot on. Walking distance to all major tourist sites. Good selection at breakfast. Friendly staff. Could sacrifice housekeeping to help save bees which is a great idea, and they had "Jeeves" a robot that brought room service.

Waste of money getting a junior suite. It's very small. The seating area had a TV in but only 1 chair so ended up sitting on the bed. All instructions for hotel and around the area was on the TV, the TV said it had English channels but it didn't have any.

The breakfast was excellent. There was a huge choice of food.

The Superior Double category that we booked did not meet our expectations. The room was very small. Our friends had also booked a Superior Double but did not even have a refrigerator/sink/stove combination in their room, as we did. I think it is unfair that some "Superior Double" rooms had better amenities than others. Also, when I asked at reception what the difference was between a "normal" room and a superior double room. I was told that it was only the location (front vs. back of hotel) and the view outside. For an extra 50 Euro per day, I found that to be a "weak" explanation.

The room was spacious, clean and very quiet even though it was close to the elevators. The view was beautiful. The bathroom was good with hot water and a good water flow. The wifi was good to have video calls. The breakfast had a wide choice of food, even vegan or without lactose.

The beds were moved together but they were still separate beds. So i still had to sleep on one narrow bed. It seemed that the shampoo&conditioner and the shower gel were the same soap in different bottles. Not cool.

I chose the hotel primarily for its location, directly opposite the Barenboim-Said Akademie. It was wonderful to be able to be able to dash into the hotel ca. 17:00 on Saturday, change clothes, and get to the Akademie by 18:00 for a film and concert, then to be able to stay late after the concert to enjoy taking with the musicians and still be able to be back at the hotel and in bed before midnight! I´ll definitely be back!
