This hotel had great value for money. Went specifically for the Christmas markets in 2023 and after searching for hotels which were within good distance, good value for money and close to transport links, I stumbled across this hotel. It is very well located, right next 2 multiple bus stops and an underground train station. The hotel itself has a nice open reception with a bar and sit down area downstairs. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It is also located near supermarkets, so if you decide to not take breakfast you can go grab some breakfast for yourself and bring it back to your room or there is a cafe just a minute away. The room itself is a functional room but you don't need anymore for a quick break in Europe. It has everything you require to make your stay comfortable. There was no noise which is something I personally try to make sure being light sleepers. There are lifts in the hotel and they kept our luggage for us so we could pop out and come back after checking out. The rooms are clean. We were able to walk to multiple locations or take a quick bus or train. We loved how close we were to the main Christmas market and actually stumbled upon other markets. Having stayed in a motel one chain in Belgium, it was a familiar brand and I would definitely come back to this hotel if I ever come back to Berlin. I recommend this hotel to anyone after a few nights stay in Berlin! You will not be disappointed for the value for money, closeness to transport and near shops.

In my opinion this was value for money and therefore based on the priced paid and the stars, I felt like it was very reasonable and there was nothing in particular to call out that we didn't like.

Normally in Berlin I always stay in Prenzlauer Berg or somewhere lush & green, but this time I chose a completely different hotel next to the Spittelmarkt U-Bahn station. The hotel itself was very nice: everything functioned smoothly and the staff was excellent. My (quite basic but neat) hotel room was very tidy and gave value for money during the high season + offered a super nice city view. During those super hot August days in Berlin, I also loved the hotel bar where I had one refreshing drink every evening before hitting the bed. If this hotel was differently located, I'd definitely stay again. This spot is hectic with traffic so every time you exit the hotel, you are surrounded by big noisy streets. But: if you are a first-timer in Berlin or a serious museum and history lover, this hotel is greatly located for visiting Museuminsel and those hoods.

For me (after 20 times in Berlin + having lived in the city in my youth), the Spittelmarkt location remains boring. It takes time to walk to more vivid and authentic corners of Berlin. But since the hotel offered value for money, I might stay again in summertime, not in winter when it's important to lodge in cozy hoods of the city.

Hotel is located near metro station Spittelmarkt from where all the sights and airport can be comfortably reached. The rooms were really clean and the bed was comfortable, though I would have preferred a not-so-soft mattress. Breakfast was very minimalistic, but everyone could find something according to their taste.

The room and bed themselves could have been a bit larger because it was hard for two people to move around. Each room also has a small table, but in my view, it would not be too comfortable to work on that.

Everything was perfectly fine with this place! Even, when I was first searching the hotel/hostel options in Berlin for my solo travel, I was feeling a bit anxious to travel alone however I never felt insecure about being alone here. Instead, the location was absolutely nice and the quality of my stay was also really comfortable. It is in a beautiful district in Berlin where you can reach everywhere by U2 metro line (it is just a 1-2 minutes walk). The staff was helpful, smiling and the rooms were quiet and very clean. Definitely will come back to this place soon in the future.

Nothing but maybe there could have more variety in the breakfast. I preferred to have breakfast out the other days.

Pretty clean room, nice receptionist. Looks good aesthetic wise. Fairly close to main attractions. Would say it's worth the money. Does the stuff it does focus on well.

Room a bit small (I guess it is a cheap option), maybe smaller than the photos depict. No kettle which was surprising. A bit further and more difficult to reach from airport than I expected, but can't complain about that too much. Would be nice if blanket was thicker

Very comfortable bed, surprisingly good sound isolation, blackout drapes, nice hotel bar, air conditioning (rare for Germany), friendly staff.

The neighborhood is very boring, with zero atmosphere. Most of the pedestrian activity seems to be tourists. Location is somewhat central, but not especially convenient to much of anything except the museum island. In retrospect, I should have paid more to stay in a cooler neighborhood with better restaurants and amenities nearby. Or closer to a hub like Alexanderplatz. A subway station is close, but transfers were always necessary. I had hoped for a mini fridge, but there was none.

Really well-positioned hotel, close to the U2 underground line. Easy to walk to Museum Island / old town one way and Potsdamer Platz and Freidrichstrasse the other. Staff were very welcoming and check-in was early and easy. We were on the 6th floor and could hear the traffic as it's on top of Leipziger Strasse, a busy road through Berlin, but the soundproofing and windows did a really good job of keeping out the noise. Had a nice bar area and outdoor seating. There is also two cafes and a bar/restaurant near by if you don't want to eat at the hotel. We did room-only and there are plenty of options around for breakfast.

Room is a bit small but fine for us. It's more Travelodge / Premier Inn than a hotel, but it's perfectly suitable. We weren't aware of this brand until this holiday so didn't realise the room size or lack of storage, but it was ideal for a couple on a short break. Not sure how it would work if you were staying longer and had a lot of luggage.

Hotel was clean and had everything you needed for the short visit. I stay will my family and requests two rooms next to each other which was provided. Also we could leave our car in the save parking space under hotel. Beds was very confident and spacious which was very important for me. If you like long walking you can reach all famous buildings by walking and do not need to use public transportation or taxi. So hotel has a good location spot.

Everything was good and meet my expectations. But one thing I would like to mention in particular. We travel from far away. And arrived in Berlin very early in the morning. Our check in had to be 15 o’clock. I went into reception 9am. to check maybe it is possible to leave our car. They let me and I could move into hotel about 9.30am without any extra change.

Great location!, within walking distance of all the nice sites, in the city centre, ideal for discovering berlin or for a business trip; super clean! very polite and professional staff; amazing bar/ lounge, ideal for an evening drink (loved the greatly comfortable chairs and sofas!); also, the hotel's design alone is really smart and worth a visit just to see it!

Although the room was very nice, very clean and modern, i found the lack of a fridge a disadvantage. Also, i think the breakfast, although nice and plentiful, it was rather plain. It would be nice to have more warm options (some omelette? Bacon? Waffles or crepes?) and what would really add value would be more local dishes of the area (like some local sweets?)

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The location couldn't have been better for exploring Berlin. The room was exactly as promised - immaculate, cosy, and boasted a stunning view of the city, with the Berliner Fernsehturm in sight. The hotel's interior design was undoubtedly its standout feature, impressively styled and visually appealing. However, what truly made my stay memorable was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Every member of the team was not only friendly but also attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. Additionally, the WiFi connection was both fast and reliable, making me grateful that I had decided to leave my laptop at home - I may have never left!

I discovered a used band-aid in the shower. In all fairness to the cleaning staff, it was cleverly concealed under the provided soap bottle. I forgot to mention it so it may still be there - Room 8.22 easter egg!
