This great value for money hotel was in a superb location as we could walk into the city centre in 30 minutes, meaning we could see the sights as we walked! The area around the hotel felt very vibrant and safe, and there was a solely gluten free bakery/cafe almost next door which was perfect for our breakfasts and a great pizza place (Lovebirds) which also did gluten free pizzas! Several small supermarkets within 5 minutes’ walk and a U-bahn station 2 minutes’ walk away made this the perfect location. For an evening meal, 9 minutes’ walk away was the lovely, cosy German cuisine restaurant Sophieneck, where we enjoyed a traditional port knuckle dinner and wine for around £50 for 2 (book though, as they get very busy). The hotel room was very quiet when the window was shut and the clever wooden pull-across blinds made it dark inside, perfect for sleeping! Our room on the fourth floor was small but it had all we needed and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit were: the open top bus tour (both red and blue routes) (around €25), the Topography of Terror (free), Checkpoint Charlie (free), the Holocaust memorial (free), the memorial to the Sinti and Roma victims of National Socialism (free), the East Side Gallery (free), the dome at the Bundestag (free), the Berlin Wall memorial (free), the climb to the top of the Victory Column (€4) and the Stasi museum (€8). We also happened to visit during the yearly Festival of Lights (7-16 October) which was truly spectacular, and free!

The room was a little hot when the window was shut, even though we had the heating at its lowest setting.

Location, friendly staff, 24/7 accessibility.

En-suite situation is a little weird. Frosted glass on 70% of the glass and no more than 2m from the bed. No kettle not great. Beware the ATM next door if using English language option. If after checking the conversion rate you select 'cancel conversion' it gives out the money you (didn't request). We lost €50 after taking our card and not expecting to wait for any money. Returned five minutes later after a notification from our bank and obviously the money had gone. The corner store next door is also run by con-men. Walk 10 minutes to REWE and get fair prices for water and necessities. Not the hotel's fault at all. But be warned!

This was the perfect base for a long stay in Berlin. The room had everything we needed, and the price was unbeatable! We are travelers who usually prefer not to bother with room service and other things. Even though it was offered because of the length of our stay, we decided not to worry about it. We will absolutely stay here again! The location was perfect, and we loved Mitte.

I wish we could have had a little extra storage space, or bigger sink, but it is no surprise and I don't consider it a big negative. We had a lot of luggage because Berlin was only our first stop on a longer trip, and that was our own fault.

The location exceeded my expectations and I was also a bit nervous reading the reviews online (a lot has said the room is very small). I actually thought the room size was perfect. The bathroom leaked some water when showering but towel exchange was very easy. There were a lot of dust but I think that comes with any hotel. The staff were also very friendly, especially Rafael who was the night staff. The hotel had pretty much everything I forgot to bring - the adapter, hair dryer and extra bags (trash bags) that I can use, which meant I did not have to spend extra money to buy these things!

Nothing! If I HAD to say something, it was just that the pillows were very flat but it didn't bother me too much.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The area around Rosenthaler Platz is great, with plenty of options for food, coffee, and beer. Getting to the hotel from BER airport was straightforward too - we hopped on the S Bahn (S9) direct to Hackescher Markt and it was less than a 10-minute walk to the hotel from there. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great.

There was very little ventilation so it became unbearably humid after we had both showered - it would also have been really useful to have even just a small shelf in the shower - the cubicle was plenty big enough. The air conditioning didn't seem to do anything, but opening the window was sufficient as it wasn't too hot weatherwise. There wasn't much space for our luggage.

I would stay here again. What you need to understand is that the rooms are narrow. For example, I could stretch out my arms and have 3 - 4 couple of inches of room on either side. For some people that might be too tight. You just have to get comfortable with that. Because you get what you pay for. In this case, a price that is very fair for a small room that is clean, is well designed, has an amazing location, very friendly staff, and useful amenities like luggage storage, a WC for guests to use after you check out (perfect to use after picking up stored luggage before grabbing the train to the airport), coffee machine in the lobby (paid), and bikes.

The location was amazing, great vibes with so many cafes and restaurants around. Felt really safe in this area as well, close to the metro and tram. The room was spotless and soundproofed. The bed was comfortable with ample charging points on either side of the bed. Only a bit of space in between the bed and the walls, but still enough space for bags by the front door. Wifi worked just fine, apart from needing to re-login after being connected from long periods of time. They have luggage storage for 5 euros a day, which they return 2 euros after you give back the lock for the locker. If you're sharing the room with a friend, you might be a bit uncomfortable with only frosted glass covered the shower and toilet.

Please note they don't do room cleanings on short stays, however you can request extra bin bags and toilet paper from the 24 hr front desk.

BEDROOM the bedroom was very small compared to what i expected. It remains comfortable nonetheless. the glass separating the bed and the bedroom doesn't give much privacy if you are traveling with a friend. especially with where the mirror is placed you are 200% your friend will (kinda) see you naked. the walls are pretty thin meaning you'll hear ppl in the neighboring rooms. and vice versa. you can get out and enter the hotel whenever you want thanks to the card and there's always someone at the reception which is cool ! BREAKFAST there was none. a coffee machine was available at the entrance in front of the reception but you have to pay for the coffee. LOCATION 10min walk from Alexander platz ! some cafés and supermarkets near as well. bus, tram and subways stations are all around the hotel.

BEDROOM the room is very small and is purely made for sleeping.

Staff were friendly, helpful and available 24/7 at reception. The room was clean. Generally quiet (once the window was shut), there were a few noisy neighbours coming in during the night but that is expected in any hotel. I felt safe and comfortable. Two towels were provided but extra is available, just need to ask at reception. I would stay there again, on my own, the room is tiny, but suitable for one person with a small suitcase.

There was a banging noise in the aircon, I only ended up staying one night, due to my flights being super early - the banging seemed to be from a loose board not screwed in properly; As I was able to touch the board and it stopped but it would start back again as soon as I moved my hand. I could not be bothered in the middle of the night to get dressed and go downstairs and get someone. I put in some air-plugs to get some sleep, but I told the manager at check out and he will get someone to look into it.

It‘s location right in the middle of the city, easy to take trams & Ubahn. A lot of very nice breakfast places and restaurants nearby. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable. The employees are very friendly and helpful, credit to them!

The room is too small for 2 people with luggages, we are fully aware of the small space. The room arrangement makes it difficult. The fan/air conditioner didn’t properly function at nights eventhough the window was fully closed (as per the hotel’s instructions). So, it was quite warm in the room that we chose to open the window, which means allowing loud night noises. Nonetheless we managed to sleep better with the cold night breeze from outside.
