The hotel itself is really good, I would like to make this clear from the beginning. The receptionists are very nice, everything is very clean and there is a lot of space. Almost perfect at first glance.

I would never book this hotel again if it is supposed to be hot outside. Since there is no air conditioning, it is just unbearable at night. I saw very many complaints here and for the majority it poses the greatest issue of their stay. At this point the management should have taken it into consideration. One of the key features of this hotel is being modern and correspondent to eco trends. In my opinion, what you should have done a long time ago is to change the toilets. One single flushing wastes so much water, this is just insane. One button, no differentiation. We can save money by washing our towels less frequently but you could also change the flushing system and save three times more water. And the last thing – sometimes feels like the walls are made of paper.

We’ve booked room for group of 4 people for one night during weekends in Berlin. The room wasn’t huge, but it worth every penny we’ve paid. It was clean, with fresh towels and small fridge filled up with selection of beer and water. Bed and sofa were comfy to sleep. For us the location was good enough. Not very far from the city center. Our windows were looking to the inner yard, where you’ll see the windows of locals who are living in their residences. Also, on the plus side, there is garage(place there you should book in advance) with the access by the elevator to the rooms. Clever system which only requires a mobile phone with internet connection to access room, garage, and open the main door when you are coming late. The staff is very welcoming and friendly.

- Loved how developed their systems are; it was easy to check-in online, and the digital room key was great. They also communicate really well before the reservation begins. - The guy at the check-in was funny and gave good vibes about the hotel. - I liked how quiet the neighbourhood was, but it was still very close to everything. - The bed was of good quality.

- To be honest, the shower was quite bad. The problem was that the draining didn't function well, and after I had showered, the whole bathroom floor was totally wet. I had to dry the floor by using towels, and that was not very enjoyable. It felt like I should have showered without using water. Other than that, no complaints.

I really liked the hotel. Reception is not 24h but they have an online system; with your phone you can unlock the main door and your room's door. There is a mini bar with just a few options. The people are very amicable, and the room is very clean. There was no air conditioner, but they had a small electric fan in the room. The neighborhood is very quiet. I though breakfast is a bit expensive (21 euros for person), so I didn’t have it, but from 12 to 9 p.m. they have free coffee. The hotel is located three blocks away from a bus station and five block away from a subway station.

I thought breakfast was a bit expensive (21 euros per person). But they were very kind and allowed my wife and I to have a cup of coffee and a croissant for a cheaper price.

Nice quiet location clean comfortable rooms with short walk to main road for buses 2 metro stations in opposite direction making it easy to get to all the major sightseeing places and more. Digital check in smooth and great communication from hotel.Would recommend if you like to stay not in the noisy bustle of the city.

Lack of kettle in room for a cuppa when needed although you can get a free coffee after noon until 9 pm from machine downstairs and bring up to room.

Room was clean & spacious. Staff were friendly. Great that we could check in online & room key was on my mobile. Made life much easier as our flight was delayed so we didn't get to the hotel till nearly midnight, much later than planned! Free coffee every day from 12-9pm a definite bonus.

Hotel was close to a building site so were woken up quite early every morning with the noise. Couldn't be helped but could've done without it.

Pretty good central location - 1 subway stop from Potsdamerplatz (big mall, museums, etc.). 8-10 min walking to a subway stops (U2 or U3/U5), 5 min walking to a bus stop. Really big safe, fits 15' laptop. Big, clean and modern bathroom. Small fridge (in our room, not always) - big enough for drinks and some food if required. The room was equipped with one medium-size fan - it was very actual during very hot days we stayed. The hotel is placed near a big beautiful park.

No air conditioning - but also was not promised :). Due to it's positioning near the child playpark - sometimes it was noisy.

Super friendly staff, our request of having a room with a terrace was granted, clean room, a bit small but cozy, our room was located on the last floor and we had a lovely skylight over the shower. Loved that you get a www link to open the main door and your room (as well as a standard hotel card), it was really practical.

There was no air conditioning in the room, we've been there when it was 30 degrees Celsius outside so for a while after getting back to the hotel it could get really hot in the room. Would recommend a bigger room for those wanting to work here, the desk in our smallest 17m2 option was really small.

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at the Fjord Hotel. The staff were friendly and kind, and made us feel very welcome. The location of the hotel was perfect for us - it was close to a bus stop (5 min), but nestled in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the 10-15 minute walk to the U Bahn through the lovely park. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We also appreciated the hotel's luggage storage service, which allowed us to leave our bags with them on the last day before our flight, giving us the opportunity to explore the city a bit more. Something that would have made our stay even more perfect would have been a coffee machine in the room for our morning coffee. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely return to the Fjord Hotel if we ever visit Berlin again.

It's a shame that the TV doesn't have the option for you to log-in to your Netflix account. While we didn't try the hotel breakfast, we did find the price a bit expensive and opted to eat out.

The location is very good - only few min from U2 station. The breakfast is excellent, very good selection and great coffee. The team is very friendly and informative.

No air conditioning- and when outside it is 30 degrees, the room is sauna. Even at late evening. If the hotel would publish it in clearer way - my decision could be different, at least for hot summer time. For the winter- it is a perfect hotel.
