The location was great! Right next to an U-Bahn and bus station and about a 10 minute walk from Potsdamerplatz. The bed and pillows were comfortable and not like the typical German double bed (which we loved!). Rain forest shower head and heated floor in the bathroom.

I joined my husband and his friends in Berlin for the Berlin Marathon. I came late because of work and only stayed one night. This location was close to where everyone else was staying. While pricey, it was not as pricey as many other locations during this time period. I flew in, was able to take the train in to near the hotel. I then walked, which was a little bit of a walk with a suitcase, but totally manageable and I felt completely safe. I dropped my luggage and crammed in site seeing. I didn't take advantage of many amenities at the hotel - as I was spending time with others located at a nearby hotel. There was a lovely, warm and inviting small lobby with a fireplace. There was a restaurant that also looked inviting. There was a very nice courtyard out in the back with sitting areas. Breakfast buffet the next morning also looked great - see photo. They do include toiletries (but not conditioner), hairdryer. You must put your key in the wall in order to get lights to turn on. Hotel was clean, beds comfy, and the room was super quiet. Area was not right in downtown, but felt safe walking even at night. Staff was nice and helpful. You can keep your key or leave it hanging on wall at hotel when you leave. I was here alone, not sure that I would have wanted to sleep with my 6 foot 2 husband in the bed. But, I slept really well.

I wish it wasn't quite so expensive, but you are paying for the location and nice hotel - probably a bit more expensive when I was there because of the Berlin marathon too.

We were very satisfied with everything - the decoration was very unique and cool, the room was clean, the location was very good. And there was a beautiful view from the fitness room!

Great location in the city, within walking distance to most things including the U Bahn. Within a 10 minute walk to two large shopping centers. About a 40 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof, the walk was nice and we saw a lot of sites on the way to the hotel. Could also easily get a train or bus, we used these to get around the city quicker. The hotel was super clean and we were given a free room upgrade which was nice.The bathroom was nice and big and there was cosy underfloor heating. The room was cleaned daily and the hotel was based on the Grimm fairytale stories. The staff were very friendly and helpful, never got a chance to eat the breakfast or at the restaurant but it looked nice. Would definitely go back again!

- While the bed was generally comfortable, I discovered some dust around the foot area, suggesting attention to detail could be improved - The room cleaning service isn't automatic - you'll need to specifically request it for the next day, which can be a bit inconvenient - The breakfast buffet, while offering high-quality selections, comes with a rather steep price tag that might make you think twice - Similarly, the restaurant serves excellent cuisine but be prepared for fine-dining prices that might stretch your budget

There was a mix up with room allocation or arrival as I had asked for a twin room and was allocated a double. The young lady on reception was extremely helpful in changing the room. The hotel is in a good location about a 10 minute walk to Potsdamer platz and there is a U-bahn literally a one minute walk away. Please ensure you visit BRLO Brwhouse only 10 minutes away. The small bar in the hotel is extremely comfortable and the staff friendly. The hotel room was extremely quiet. Tip - make the most of public transport with a day pass.

The gym was a little smaller than expected and I could not figure how to get to the roof terrace although this didn't matter as it was too cool to sit up there!

The hotel and staff are great! There's a nice (although small) roof terrace, where you can chill in the evenings. We could store our luggage there on our last day as we had a late flight. The rooms are clean and well-kept (nothing broken or not working). The location is very good. While not super central, it's quite easy to get to where you need to, as Mendelson station is nearby and Potsdamer platz is at a walking distance as well.

It would have been good to have a minibar in the room. The A/C was a bit weird - the room was a bit too cold and it was difficult to get the temperature up, as the default mode was "Cooling" due to the season.

The location near Potsdamer Platz made the stay very comfortable - we had a choice of restaurants, bars, shopping, and even an art gallery. And of course good access to public transport. The restaurant is good, and the coctails at the bar are really good (special thanks to the barman!). We also had a chance to sit on rooftop, enjoying the drinks and the amazing view. Helpful staff, great room, and very good breakfast. The nearest parking garage (less than a minute walk from the entrance) is recommended if you need a parking place.

The breakfast was a bit too crowded, and tables outside were too sunny, no shading above them, which made them less useful for breakfast.

Hotel staff were all lovely- efficient and friendly and appeared to work well as a team The hotel was modern with eclectic decor based on Grims fairytales my room was themed on little Red Riding hood with woodland flowers and drawings of a little girl and wolf( not at all scary!) everywhere was beautifully clean and well appointed. Quiet urban location near river. Easy to walk to centre . Breakfast ( exceptional range of fruit yoghurts breads cheeses etc) and dinner were good and served in a cosy relaxed dining area.

The property was well situated, yet felt quiet as it was right on a park and nestled next to a canal. It was well maintained, clean and had fun thematic touches. My budget room had access to a small terrace overlooking the park, which was wonderful. The staff people were kind and helpful.

My only frustration was that there were upcharges for lots of things. Breakfast was not included, which I somehow overlooked. Bike rental had a fee. Shockingly, even the sauna had a steep fee to make use of. I skipped it, and looking back having a sauna at no charge would have made the stay more magical.
