Great location. Great breakfast. This is a high volume operation hostel with so many guests running through it everyday. Centrally located with a short walk to major attractions. No hassle and no nickel picking as most hostels in Europe do.

Snoring by roommate kept me up all night, but there’s nothing the hostel can do about it. My advice to those who snore or have sleep apnea to stay away from hostels and shared accommodation. It’s not fair for the rest of room occupants to suffer throughout the night while you blissfully rest in oblivion!

Almost everything was good. I've been to other hostels before and they were so bad to be honest. This one was beyond my expectations, room was new and super clean. I already knew the area where Generator is placed in berlin, so the position is definitely really good. I suggest to put a soap dispenser in the shower too! And not only in the bathroom sink :)

The only thing is that there's no air conditioning inside the rooms, but it's something common considering it's a hostel indeed. You can borrow a fan at the reception and that's good, but if you suffer the hot weather too much I don't recommend to stay here because it'd be too hot and also would be impossible to sleep.

Great location for getting around. This was my first time in Berlin and felt very easy to go about and see the main sights. It's not a 'pretty' area but convenient and felt safe. The room was clean and all the girls were very quiet and respectful. The bed was comfortable enough and felt private as your head was covered. I was going to bed early/waking up early and basically never crossed paths with anyone as they were out or asleep. The breakfast was simple (muesli/yogurt/fruit/toast/bread/ham/cheese) but very convenient as there isn't much around the hostel other than sub-par cafes.

There was no aircon in the room and the window only opened a fraction. It was SO HOT. It was a warm when I was there (28 degrees celcius) and the room felt warmer. Literally had a cold shower every morning and night to cool down. In the end it wasn't as unbearable as I thought it was going to be and I slept fine but if you struggle sleeping in hot temperatures - beware!

great lively mood with a great lounge, to socialize, get a drink and do some bar sports. This is a great alternative to getting from the street and locking yourself in the room

Bar staff attitude many times was poor. Asked for some cocktails during happy hour and was rejected because "they were busy serving tables". Another time we had issues with getting food one hour before kitchen close because they had a large order early in the day. a 3rd issue we had with bringing drinks from outside when we asked for beer and they had ran out of german ones, offering only brit ones

Perfect location, cool staff. Chose this place to stay because it has great place to hang out in the evening or during the day.

We ordered a pizza. It was pepperoni pizza which doesn’t come with jalapeno peppers and isn’t stated in menu that it comes with it unlike it’s stated for other pizza. We thought we ordered wrong but after ordering it again we had them on again. Thankfully none of us were allergic but person who wanted it doesn’t like spicy food so maybe change the menu and state it’s in there..other than that it was okay, apart from waking up at 5am from other guest watching videos with no headphones on. Nothing to do about that so I’d say the stay was nice.

Great hostel and super social. Very large as well so more likely to meet people if you want to. Rooms were really nice and had big lockers. Awesome social area with great bar with pool tables and shuffle board. Location awesome as well. We missed breakfast everyday but they have it for €8.50 which is good value

Please spend like €20 on some new pool cue tips!! The tables are actually OK (on a big lean) but all the cues are broken. Every single hostel I've ever been to with pool tables has been the same. Just get some decent tips! The pub crawl that starts from there is a massive scam (organised by other company though). €25 which is already expensive, and you have to take so much public transport to get to the pubs. Don't do it.

It was clean, good location in the city center. Good that there was a fan in the room.

It wasn't mentioned anywhere on booking that outside food and drinks are not allowed in the hostel. It is bad enough that there is no kitchen there, but forbidding to bring food and drinks is too much. This information should be visible before booking the stay here. I noticed mold inside of the toilet near the rim. There are plastic covers on the mattresses, and I was sweating too much because of them.

We stayed in a private room with a private bathroom for 6 people and loved it. The room was very clean, each person had their own storage, and the beds were very comfortable. It was a great space for 6 of us for the weekend and exceeded our expectations. Location was good - close to public transportation, Alexanderplatz, Mitte, and Prenzlauer Berg. Easy to walk everywhere or go by tram if not. The staff was also very nice, and the common space downstairs was great.

Our shower always leaked all over the floor, but since the shower was in a separate room than the sink/toilet, it wasn't too much of a problem. Also, the room did not come with towels or shower soaps - we rented our towels for 5 euros each.

The location was great! And for a Hostel, it was very nice and clean. We had a private room for our family of 6 with a private bathroom and shower. This met our needs well for our stay and was much cheaper than any of the nearby hotels. The restaurant seemed pleasant and lively, but we didn't utilize it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were surprisingly comfortable

The blankets on the bed were rather narrow and while very thick and warm, barely covered the body if you are a side sleeper. It was a bit loud with street noise and partying, but it was actually quite mild for Hostel standards

It is located in so close to the one of the most popular place of Berlin and so it is easy to arrive there by tram. The beds are so comfortable but in my room, there were 6 people and the room was so small for that much people I think. But, if you stay not too long in Berlin, here is a good place in terms of price and performance.

There were no free luggage room. In the downstairs of the reception, there are lockers cabinets but with a high cost. (24h-8€).
