Really great location with a nicely decorated room and good wifi signal. The lockers were handy for the final day. The room was nice and warm and the windows opened properly for some fresh air when needed which seems to be a rarity these days. It certainly seemed to be much better than other places in the same price bracket so the hotel was good value for money.

Only thing really that would improve the room would be a mini fridge. We also found a bit of a smell coming up through the drains in the shower however it was not bad enough to warrant any real complaints. Cleanliness was good but a few fixtures and fittings were showing their age. I'd recommend bringing a fire stick or similar as the screen casting on the TV didn't work.

Excellent location in the hip and artsy Mitte area. The S line subway station and tram stop are only steps away. Lots to see within walking distance, and lots of options for restaurants and cafe nearby. I felt so lucky to have stayed at this place for two nights, without doing much research prior to my trip! Staff are friendly and helpful. Love the complimentary coffee and water lounge on the ground floor. The room is surprisingly spacious, with very comfy bed. If I'd visit Berlin again, I'd definitely stay here again!

The room can get quite warm on a hot summer night. Though there was a fan in the room, it was still a bit hot throughout the night. I also didn't know that the room does not come with a fridge.

Nice room, good heating, comfortable bed. Location is fine. 2 minutes from Orianberger Strasse station, which is 1 stop from Friedrich Strasse station. You can walk to Friedrich Strasse station in 12 minutes. Lots of cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk. From Friedrich Strasse the train goes to the airport. Helpful staff. There are luggage lockers that you can use to store your luggage after you check out, if your flight is later in the day. €2 per locker.

It’s a shame that there isn’t a restaurant, but there is a small room with tables and chairs, a vending machine and a free coffee machine. Having said that, there are 3 places within 250 metres from the hotel where you can get breakfast. There was also a kettle in the room.

Great location. You still have to walk a little bit though. Clean rooms. Smelled like fresh cut wood - probably due to furniture. Spacious bathroom. Blockout curtains - helpful to get a good sleep in the morning! Wooden window frames!! Extremely nice and helpful staff.

I guess I was just unlucky to get smaller room. - in the night you can see the light from the hallway through gap under the door. that was disturbing, I had to close it with my jacket. But these little details did not spoil the whole impression

We spent 4 nights at Martas and were extremely pleased with our overall stay. The room was huge, with plenty of storage and hanging space. The bathroom was also a decent size. The TV had internet so we were able to jump on youtube instead of having to watch shows in a language we couldn't understand. The location was only 200m from the train station. It is situated in amongst several cafe's and restaurants all within walking distance. The Receptionist gave us plenty of food and activity recommendations. Check in and check out was easy.

There was no safe or refrigerator in the room. We felt the room was big enough that a small bar fridge could be placed under the desk. However, the Receptionist did say there was a fridge behind the front desk that we could have used. We didnt bother because it was a bit of a faff.

Great location, near a lot of sites and restaurants. It felt like a lively area, but but rooms were super quiet in the evenings. Rooms and bathrooms (and the whole hotel for that matter) were spotless, and some were quite spacious. Staff were helpful, but didn't see much of them, as it was easy to get in/out of the hotel without going through the lobby.

We booked two double rooms, but one of the rooms was more like a corridor with two single beds in it. It was very basic, e.g. not even a shelf in the bathroom. This was disappointing as it meant part of our group had a nice room, and one person had a dud room, even though we booked two of the same type. Felt a bit basic and austere.

We arrived at 10 AM and Marta's was able to give us a room immediately (much appreciated after an overnight flight from the US). Clean rooms with wooden floors. Ours overlooked the courtyard and was quiet. Bathroom had older tile but was clean with strong shower water pressure. Very comfy beds. Well-maintained small community room on ground floor with automatic coffee/espresso machine, chairs/tables, vending machines (we would buy pastries around the corner and eat them here with a double espresso for breakfast). Kind & pleasant staff. Highly recommend.

The hotel is in a very clean and safe area, as an anxious traveller i’m very particular about where i stay. On arrival the reception team allowed me to check in early (at their discretion) after i’d had a long journey and needed to rest. They were very welcoming and accommodating throughout my stay. The room was spacious and clean, with towels, toilet paper and all the other necessities you need. There was even a fan to keep you cool. Overall, would 10/10 recommend to solo travellers or anyone looking for a cheap place to stay in Berlin. Note for smokers, there is a smoking area, with tables and chairs. Absolutely must for me.

Think we may have been upgraded rooms- we had a spacious separate sitting room and gorgeous bedroom. The bed was large and comfortable. Everything was clean and the room smelled brand new! You could cast your phone to the tv as well so could watch things in our own language. Did not have much interaction with staff but the lady who checked us in was lovely. The hotel is situated near good public transport links and is walkable to many points of interest. There are many nice restaurants, bars and cafes near by also.

Unfortunately the toilet was repeatedly flushing with was very annoying and noisy- however a plumber came and fixed same on our 3rd day- without us having to ask reception (I wonder how they knew it was broken!) Apart from this there are no negatives!!!

The location and the cleanliness of the property was very good . The people were friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the proximity of the location to everything. The place is very vibrant and buzzing. The restaurants nearby were amazing, the SBahn and UBahn proximity as well the extensive availability of Lime scooters all made it very easy to get around. The place felt very safe even at night. Loved it ❤️❤️
