Breakfast was beyond expectations. Sweet and savory selections all excellent. Lots of fruit and greens as well, five types of yogurt!

I had ordered some candy that is only available in the Hamburg area to be delivered to the hotel. Unfortunately it hadn’t arrived on the last day we were there and I asked if the hotel could send it on if it arrived after our departure. One clerk, very polite, said they would check with his colleagues. Of course we would have paid the charges. Another employee, upon overhearing us, immediately said no, they could not send it on, they were not a post office. We were taken aback but made a joke and said it was candy and they could all enjoy it. But frankly, we didn’t appreciate the lack of hospitality on the part of the one employee.

Excellent hotel, newly constructed so everything feels very new and fresh. Great staff, nice lobby and good restaurant both for breakfast and dinner. Next door to huge parking garage so ample space for parking. Good location near Miniatur Wunderland. Very, very comfortable beds and nicely designed rooms.

The gym was sub-par for a hotel in this class. A small room with too few weights, and not much more than a cross-trainer and two running machines one of which was not working and the other one propped up on wonky cushions making running in high pace feel very unsafe.

Beautiful hotel at an excellent location in the Speicherstadt, lovely rooms, elegant lobby, delicious breakfast and very friendly staff. You can reach many attractions of Hamburg on foot from this hotel and the red sightseeing bus stops right in front of it, the Miniaturen Wunderland ist just a stones throw away. The area where the hotel is located is really beautiful, peaceful and feels totally safe. You can take a lovely walk along the canals and across the myriad bridges in the Speicherstadt and also the modern and stunning Hafencity. I also think it’s very good value for money. If we visit Hamburg once more we will definitely stay at the Ameron again - I would not even think of booking a room anywhere else.

The location of the hotel is nice: central enough but quiet and calm at the same time. Lovely views of the Speicherstadt. The hotel's design is very cool, marine theme, Hamburg history, port city flair. Lovely baby cot and a bath duck as a gift!

The room cleaning was a disaster. During our 7 day stay no one ever cared for the dust on the night table and under the TV. Rooms are on the smaller side and not very well thought through. Due to the lack of personnel you could not get many services that one normally expects. Like the dinner restaurant is only open from Wednesday to a certain day.

location is great, in between hafencity and speicherstadt. the staff were always very nice and polite.

Room was rather small and the bathroom situation was awkward. The toilet was closed off but the rest was open air such that when you walk in the room, you can see whoever is in the shower since there is no bathroom door. Generally, we felt the hotel was too expensive for no apparent reason but I guess this is post-corona life, higher prices but not necessarily higher quality.

Amazing location in the heart of Hamburg‘s Speicher Stadt. We had a room with a view down one of the harbour canals one way and across to a bridge and beautiful buildings the other way. Good quality room and a wellness area with spa right up on the top floor with great views. The staff were also very nice.

Nothing to complain about. The rooms are not huge, but also not small like Paris hotels.

I love the fact that it is in the modern part of Hamburg, close enough to be within walking distance to some major attractions like Hafen city, the harbor and the city center, but far from all the noise. There aren't necessary public transportation within close walking distance, but the walk from the closest metro station Messberg was not an issue. Room is very nicely decorated and the finishing is immaculate, be sure you book the rooms facing the canals to enjoy the view Speicherstadt is famous for. Breakfast was very scrumptious especially the meat products.

I wish that the gym and spa would open longer. I also find it a bit inconvenient that there are little space to hang anything in the bathroom including towels, perhaps a bigger room is required for a longer stay.

Fabulous location, close to places I wanted to visit. Rooms are very stylish and well equipped, although I'd like to see USB charge ports at this price.

The door of the walk-in wardrobe rubbed badly on the floor, leaving a mark. It was not possible to open it fully. I didn't realise that the restaurant wasn't open Mondays and Tuesdays, two days of my 3 day visit. The room was sloppily serviced on the second day - no bath mat, the shower head was just dropped in the bath and the handtowel wasn't replaced. On;y minor things, but they took the shine off the "value for money" equation.

Modern gem of a hotel in the heart of Speicherstadt, ideal for Miniatur Wunderland, the Elbphilharmonie and other famous sights. Arriving back at 1 a.m. from Miniatur Wunderland, it was a nice surprise to find I could get a cold beer from a fridge at the reception itself! A nice touch I've not seen elsewhere.

The room with the extra bed for a couple and a child is perhaps a tiny bit small, but not too bad.

Great location near the UNESCO site, miniature museum and some great restaurants. Clean area and quite at night. A 14 minute walk from the central train station. Friendly staff loaned us umbrellas, were cheerful and welcoming. The room was clean and well designed. The air conditioning was welcomed as we visited in July.

No markets are ver close but some nice restaurants are near.
