Location of the place is amazing, check-in was very easy, fast and super friendly welcome by the receptionist.

We have coffee machines in the rooms, which are configure for a very tiny cup, we asked more capsules for two reasons, to fill a real cup and because we have to breakfast at 7am, we felt kind of judge when we did. Plus, the coffee must be ask to the person in reception so you have to wait until 9am to have breakfast, but if you ask in advance you are being judge?. The clean of the bathrooms and kitchen can improve, we found hair and dust in the toilet, and plates/cups/pots dirty. Plus, we wash some clothes and it happened that the filters were completely dirty, not clean in decades, which make my fav sweater become trash, I had to throw it. One lamp in the living room was not working.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in this very stylish city apartment, quite spacious and immaculately clean, freshly renovated and tastefully decorated. Perfect for sleeping with a large, super comfortable bed; so quiet with excellent soundproofing and blockout blind. We appreciated the coffee pod machine, microwave/oven, washer/dryer and the access to supplies of pods, tea bags, laundry tablets etc. The location is excellent - an easy short walk to the Hauptbahnhof and a great base for sightseeing walks around Altstadt, Neustadt, , the waterfront, the lakes, St Georg. Supermarket is quite close and dining options in the street or over in St Georg (multi-cultural restaurants in abundance). Overall, a superb place to stay in this cool & interesting city.

An exhaust fan is needed in the bathroom to help with steam. Just a minor issue.

Apartment was very clean, and had everything we needed.

Only issue was as we arrived after 5pm we had to check in using a machine which was to print our key, but this didn’t work. There was a phone to call if any issues but the line was very crackly and I couldn’t hear. I then had to call using my mobile and it was sorted as there was a spare key in the lock box. We later found out staff were aware the machine was broken so perhaps someone should have been on late till this was fixed, and have a sign saying this, and two keys in the lock box, as we were worried we couldn’t get in, and very conscious that night that if we lost that one key we would be locked out!

We found the apartment a good size for 4, easy check-in, sound insulation from the street was good, great black out blinds in the bedrooms, comfortable beds, nicely furnished and modern, convenient local parking for Eur10.50 a night, plenty of cafes nearby, a short walk to the Binnenalster and Hauptbahnhof Nord, great location for visiting Hamburg. We would definately stay here again.

The bed pillows looked a bit dirty beneath the pillow cases, as if they had been left on the floor by staff between pillow sheet changes? Actual pillow cases and bedding otherwise looked fresh and clean. We were only three days in the apartment, and it was otherwise perfect, so I didn't get around to complaining. But since I am being asked... that is definately something which should be looked into. Many thanks for an otherwise perfect stay.

The location one block from the central train station, underground entrance just a few m from the door and a few blocks from city hall is excellent, transit in the city did the rest where it was too cold to walk. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the kitchenette proved invaluable for preparing meals when we didn't feel like going out.

There really are no complaints. However, the reception is only staffed during business hours (there is a check in machine for late arrivals), so cleaning requests and access to the free percolator supplies, tea bags, cleaning supplies etc. is limited to those hours. Also, the elevator is three steps up - there is a ramp but it's inside the office area, so not entirely accessible outside business hours.

The apartment was perfect! spacious and clean, functional and tidy. The shower is powerful! The location is only few mins walk from the Central Station. Take S1 and you will arrive at the airport in 30 mins, and the harbour is 10 mins on the train. There are two supermarkets nearby (Edeka). We were met by Glenn at the reception and he is SOO helpful and friendly! He showed us where to go and gave us tips as to where to eat, we followed his suggestion and had a lovely time around the area. We were so thankful for his generous sharing and his spirits made us want to visit Eric V's properties again!

The apartments are in a great location near the main train station, a short walk to the city centre and a manageable walk to all the main attractions. The apartments are clean and pleasant. The kitchen has all you need and the washer/dryer is great. We checked in using the self check in and all worked well. The air conditioning and black out blinds were good too.

The apartments are small (adequate for short stays) and we had one night where a noisy neighbour kept us up late with loud music but these are minor points.

Quiet location very near the train station; felt safe. Large hallways and doors with good access. Bike storage room in locked garage. Large laptop safe. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good air conditioning.

Check-in with kiosk instead of reception; we had prepaid online but the kiosk did not recognize this and we had to pay again through the check-in kiosk. This was refunded after we approached reception the next day. Huge pole in the middle of the kitchen - made working at the bench difficult. No kettle.

This was my first time staying at the Eric Vokel apartments in Hamburg and I had arrived about 8pm following delayed trains, there was no issue with checking in as the whole process has been automated with a 4 digit code to get in the building and a self check-in terminal in the lobby. The Eric Vokel is a short 5 minute walk from Hamburg Hbf (Hbf = Central Station) in Germany and was very convenient for the central downtown area. The apartment was amazing, all the rooms were very clean and smartly designed with all the modern conveniences including a washer and dryer. The bed was extremely comfortable and although the pillows were too soft for me I was advised by the staff in the morning that firmer pillows are available elsewhere in the apartment. The location is well served with public transport and supermarkets plus a good selection of restaurants of which I highly recommend the Korean BBQ takeaway right across the road, If I visit Hamburg again this will be my go to spot as it is easily accessible and very centrally located with plenty of space for travelers who enjoy their independence that only a apartment of this calibre can offer. Well done to the Eric Vokel Team for making my short stay awesome, look forward to staying with you when it’s not -5 and snowing.

Absolutely Nothing at all, great place to stay.

Very nice and well equipped apartment. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Underground parking is available. Very convenient location in the city center. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.

The living space is interior to the rooms and gets very little light. It's also adjacent to the main room that has a sort of rice-paper wall and sliding door to the main bedroom, so if someone is trying to sleep in the main bedroom, lights from the living area will transmit through the wall. It's not ideal if you are a couple that doesn't go to bed or get up at the same time. The second bedroom has a normal door.
