Location was a 10 minute walk to the train station. Very clean, nice breakfast. Very welcoming upon arrival. A gentleman helped my friend and I with our four pieces of luggage into the guesthouse. Arranged for our vehicle to stay parked in front of the facility for 24 hours, even though we did not make those arrangements prior to arrival. This was so very kind and much appreciated. The staff were fluent in English, and this was so helpful as all of our questions were answered about parking, restaurants, and local attractions.

Lovely accommodation, close to the train station with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Not too far from the shopping centre and the old town and the river are within walking distance.The room itself was spotlessly clean, with cooking facilities if needed. The room was cleaned daily and there was a breakfast included which, although described as a 'snack' was Lovely and fresh and more than enough to start the day. The staff could not have been more helpful and communication was excellent. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Although it was very warm and there was no air conditioning, there was a powerful fan in the room which was very helpful.

Breakfast was wonderful - plentify myMusli cereal, and lots of nice breakfast sandwiches. I enjoyed it, but my boys didn't really like that much. My wife left her phone in the taxi going to the aiport, and the front desk was very helpful in tracking it down and getting it back to the airport before her flight. I loved the views, and the location is PRIMO - just a few blocks from the train station.

Location was a little "shady" - especially New Year's Eve with lots of people shooting off fireworks. The park was trashed the next morning, but I noticed a day or two later the street sweepers came through and cleared it all out.

Huge, modern, sparkling clean bathroom with both bath tub and separate shower. A little kichenette with kettle was helpful. Good proximity to train station and city centre (10min at leisurely pace).

Heating in the room we were given was not working properly. We were freezing. Fortunately, there was a male staff still on duty at the reception when we arrived at 4pm. He helped us find another room with heating, helped us make up the sofa bed & was around till 8pm that day if we needed any more help. Beds are quite low. Studio room is quite tight for 3 persons.

When I booked, I didn't expect breakfast, so it was a pleasant surprise that it was included. The room was a bit small, but it contained everything I needed (coffee maker, kitchenette, fridge etc). There is no aircon, which might be a problem when it gets really hot. However, while I stayed, I was fine with the room fan. The location is excellent--close to the main station, a laundrette and supermarkets. My favourite part is the little courtyard terrace. Nice place to relax.

One of the receptionist's eyes went really wide when I spoke to him on the morning of 25 July. I wasn't sure if he thought my comments were foolish, so I asked him why his eyes widened ... he told me he had the flu... I found this unsettling. He shouldn't be working with the flu ... especially because he was handling food. We expect better awareness of contagion after Covid...

The number one good thing about this stay was the staff. Every member of staff we encountered showed an interest in the guests, cared about issues and problem solved until there was a solution. In our case it was storage of our long tandem bicycle. The other good thing was the shower. It was the best so far on this trip. It was roomy, the flow of water was consistent and the towels were fluffy. Everything else about the room was clean, functioning and good.

We hadn't expected breakfast, so that was a bonus, and they had plant milk available, and clearly marked muesli so I could read the ingredients. It was near the station. It had some catering facilities. The receptionist was very helpful.

The cooking area was very small, and very "vertical". In fact, everything in the apartment seemed to be designed for someone 6ft 6" (2 meters) tall. I couldn't reach the coffee machine in the cupboard (although because of the unexpected breakfast, we didn't need it) and I had to get my husband to reach some of the other things (but he's not 2m tall either!). If you look at the picture, you can see that even on tip toes I can't reach the top shelf where the coffee machine is. The coffee machine could be left out for customers to avoid an accident.

Staff were extremely friendly and really lovely. The room was a little basic, but had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. And the room was spotless. A short walk to the city centre or the river.

Nothing. I would have liked two of everything in the minibar as there were two of us staying in the room. A very minor complaint that didn't effect our stay.

Comfortable room and bed. Warm welcome. Wonderful staff. Breakfast was a small choice, but PERFECT for us. The rolls were great! The choice of muesli in cartons was also great. We felt very much at home here.

At first we’re a little perturbed by the closeness of our window to the street, but closing it kept the street sounds at bay, and we came to enjoy sitting at the large desk looking out of the window.

The location in Mainz is great, close to the train station and the city centre. Unexpectedly, there was a simple but nice breakfast available at no extra cost. The room had a nice big bathroom available. The kitchen in the room was simple but sufficient to cook. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean.

We had a room on the top floor of the building and already with sunny weather and 20 degrees outside, it easily heated up to 24 degrees Celsius.. We could cool down the room by opening the windows but that is probably not an option in summer.
