Large 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite. perfect location!! Very Clean. Breakfast was good. Quiet room. I would highly recommend, worked out well for family of 5 people.

the single bed for 5th person was not very comfortable, short stay of 2 days was fine but would have been an issue if staying for the week. might not be bad for young child. we arrived at 10:00 am but we’re not given early check in, felt like room was ready but would not give early which was frustrating as this was our first day after landing. we went back to front desk at 1:00 and 2:00, still no early check in, the front desk tried to make up for it but still left a bad taste.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Athens Ikon. This small boutique hotel has spacious studios that are beautifully furnished in the modern style, immaculately clean, and well-appointed. Our room, Room 6, has an enormous, gorgeous terrace. The hotel is located within walking distance to the Acropolis, Syntagma Square, shopping, and many other Athens' sights. The hotel staff are so gracious and hospitable and can assist with every need. Will most definitely stay there again on our next trip!

we were three women and two babies and it was an amazing experience we felt safe and comfortable, the rooms were modern clean and very spacious the staff were friendly and very helpful with every issue we had , the location is perfect in the middle of the centr near almost to everything .I highly recommend this place especially to families or group of friends.

the only downside was that the staff is formed on each shift from one person, and to get into the hotel they need to open for you , we had once to wait for almost 20 min for someone to open the door for us .

The hotel is located just a step away from Syntagma square and metro station. Close to everything you want to explore in Athens like, restaurants, bars, attractions etc. The staff was friendly and helpful, professional and polite. The room was cozy and clean, offering all the amenities we wanted for our stay. The fully equipped kitchen was a must especially for them who want an extended stay with children. Super fast WIFI. We totally recommend it.

The facilities were very good, staff were friendly and it was very clean. Also they were hot on security which is excellent for guests especially solo travellers.

I didn’t like their routine for breakfast. Had to order night before and eat in your room. Much prefer to be mixing with other travellers and eating what I want at the time. Also only once out of three did we get exactly what we ordered. Suite 1 was very noisy during the night. Not really the hotels fault because it’s right in the centre, which is great but try and get room higher up which will eliminate some noise I assume

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They are available 24 hours a day which is amazing. The location is terrific. It's in a super safe and close to everything part of the city. The hotel itself is quiet because the room we were on had no other guests on that level. You can order your breakfast for the next morning as late as 10 o'clock at night. The Greek yogurt and the honey and the fruit were delicious. Restaurants and coffee shops and shopping galore right outside the hotel!

The only very minor issue we had is navigating the breakfast menu. We ordered chocolate croissants and found out that they were super tiny. But we fix that the next day by ordering differently off the menu.

First for the fundamentals - the hotel is in an excellent location, close to good coffee shops, bars and restaurants. There is a very handy deli next door. It is also easy walking to the major attractions. The suite itself was very spacious and immaculately clean. WiFi worked well and breakfasts were (as others have mentioned) superb. However what really sets this hotel apart is the staff who are absolutely brilliant. Led by Katarina, every single one of them was super friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I can’t recommend them enough and we will absolutely stay at Athens Ikon again on our next return to the city.

The staff was amazing. Very helpful and lots of tips on getting around Athens. They even surprised us with a bottle of wine for our anniversary. Breakfasts were great. We stayed in the Grand Suite with rooftop terrace. Highly recommend.

It takes some getting used to for used toilet paper in a bin.

It was nice to have such a large suite with two separate bedrooms and two baths. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. The location was very convenient with lots of food and shopping nearby.

The only negative was noise from the street and a nearby construction site, which is unavoidable with an in-city hotel.

the location was in walking distance to all the sites. the room worked out perfectly for our family of three. my teenage son was thrilled that he had his own bedroom vs. all of us sharing one room with two beds like most hotels. having breakfast delivered each morning was an added plus.

there wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
