The location and friendly personnel. Easy access with smart lockers.

Our room was B2(on the first floor with a balcony with a city view). The room in the photos looks big, but in reality, it is too small. Also, in the photos, the interior looks new, but in reality, rather old and in the bathroom, you can trace some mold even. The hot faucet of the washbasin doesn't work, and in general, it is uncomfortable to use it. Wi-Fi was lagging(sometimes not working) when you lay down on the bed. The TV set is rather old(not smart) and shows nothing.

I recently stayed at Candia Suites and Rooms in Heraklion and had a wonderful experience. The room was well-equipped, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay. The property has an elevator, which made getting to the room with luggage very easy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always available to assist with any questions or needs. Their professionalism really stood out and made the stay even more pleasant. One major plus is that they offer parking space, which is quite convenient, especially in a busy city like Heraklion. Overall, I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting the area!

room it is to small

The location is great in the Heraklion center. The communication with the staff was fantastic. They were so kind and helpful. They answered everything we asked very quickly and no request was too difficult for them! We stayed on two separate nights, at the beginning and at the end of our holiday. Both times it was amazing. The rooms were perfect. Very clean. Amazing shower. Comfortable beds. Great value. Also they have free parking which is really convenient. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was perfect

Our double room was small, but very well furnished. (Looked exactly like the one advertised on the booking website.) The bed was also very comfortable, with multiple pillows. The rain shower was also a bonus, and came along with various massage nozzles/functions. Check-in and parking instructions provided well in advance by the staff, were very detailed and helpful. We arrived very late in the dark at the property and were still able to find the designated parking lot and property.

The loud noises from planes taking off or landing, exacerbated by the quietness of the city at night. It was impossible to sleep with the windows open, although we would have liked to sleep with fresh air in our room. Thankfully, there was a flight restriction after a certain time and it was quiet again.

I liked the quality materials like the windows, hardwood floor in the room, and the smart planning of our tiny room. The location is great if you want to walk, it’s in the very centre. Arriving with car there is underground parking.

Underground parking exiting is tough because of the plan of the parking itself. You need to reserve extra 5-10 minutes to exit the parking navigating the centimeters between the walls and a car if you leave for airport or ferry.

The facility, staff and location were great. We arrived at 4am from the ferry and we were able to access our accommodation easily. We chose the smallest room available and it was a little too small for us and our luggage. Our mistake. For anyone who worries about parking a rental car in Old Town, don't worry. The parking was great.

Excellent location, the host was very kind to stay late to welcome us our first night. Clean and efficient.

Just something for people with young children or increased fall risk to be aware of- our room had a small step-off that ran the length of the room. Our kids both fell off it at night trying to get to the bathroom. Easily remedied with a nightlight but something to be aware of. AC worked but didn't cool the room down a ton, even when we had it on the highest setting- this was probably because we were out most of the day (and the electricity only works when the key card is in the room).

nothing some might like it a bit more secure as it’s like a hotel room you do not really lock it with a key but it was all right for us

Never saw anyone from the Candia suites. Couldn't get a ,/c to .work, but owner did come fix. Also could never get shower to be hot or even warm, maybe we were expected to know to turn on hot water thru the fuse box The electricity went out one night but we were ready for bed and then got electricity back on thru fuse box. Our room was so tiny , could not put suitcases anywhere, should have requested a bigger room so that's our fault.amd we only stayed 2 nights so we could live with it. There is a step down in the bedroom that you trip over or slam into all the time, but maybe that step is not in every room

The apartments are conveniently located near the port and the venetian fortress (5min walk) and there's also a café close to the apartments opening early in the morning, so you can have breakfast there. Also, there's free parking, with a reserved parking slot near the building, which is super convenient!! Finally, the host is super friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend!

The only "issue" I had was that the duvet on the bed was too thick for June and, since I didn't want to sleep with the air conditioning on, it ended up being too hot during the night and I woke up sweating.
