The comfort of the beds, the pool is heated, good Wi-Fi connection, rich breakfasts (although important exclusions of adult treatments for children in the rate are not made clear in the reservations), the central location.

The reservation I made was for two adults and two children (9 and 12) and it specified that breakfasts were included (it did not specify any exclusion). At breakfast, they told us that the children would pay half the breakfast rate (first day) and then that the 12-year-old girl would have to pay breakfast as an adult and the child would have to pay half the rate (second day). Why does it say "breakfast included" in the reservation without further clarification?

Only one member of staff lady at the Blu bar near the swimming pool was rude we told the manager and they sent us a gift to our room of cheese nuts etc which was really nice of them It was a shame as all other staff were lovely and so helpful

This hotel is a true five star experience. From the staff that goes out of their way to provide everything we needed, to the relaxing spa massages, the delicious food options and comfortable rooms, we were not ready to leave after five days. We will be returning.

We stayed here for 1 night as we had an early flight The room was lovely comfortable bed and fabulous pillows Staff friendly and helpful We are coming back at the end of our trip for 2 nights with breakfast so will update after that stay

Very modern hotel right in the center of the city. Easy to get to local museums. The hotel has a sauna which can be used until 10pm. The afternoon coffee/tea is included in the price as well as the snacks after 6pm, which is a nice touch.

our stay was amazing the staff was super friendly. i love everything about this hotel. is at walking distance to shops and restaurants. the hotel has great shuttle service. the breakfast was amazing there were so many choices. i love how secure and organized they are. the hotel was always clean and our room was amazing

The restaurants were excellent. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The employees were super friendly and helpful with anything they could do to make this stay more comfortable. I’m going back this week.

Really nice property restaurant staff were amazing. Breakfast buffet is absolutely fantastic. Loved the spa that’s always a nice addition.

Front desk employee, one in particular.. seems to never follow up with things he said he would. Or book things he said he did.

The front desk staff was amazing when we walked in, and they were very welcoming. The restaurant staff as well. Very kind and professional. The location is very central. The food is great! Fitness facility was great.

The pictures aren’t as they seem the rooms weren’t as clean, there were stains all over the walls. The beds were very small. One of the smaller pools seem dirty.

I am writing this review for my mother, Ana Montenegro. My mother returned from her trip in Guatemala very happy and telling me that her experience at the InterContinental hotel was very nice. My mother expressed to me that everyone, from the front desk (Kurt) to the nice young man that cleaned her room and the staff in the restaurant, were all very polite and took the time to answer her questions or service her requests. She stated that she will definitely return to your hotel the next time that she travels to Guatemala.

Personally, I encountered much difficulty in paying for my mother's room with the hotel's payment app/link (BAC Credomatic). I tried entering 4 credit cards and my debit card, but the transaction would not go through. Not sure what the issue was, but there should be more assistance with this mode of payment.
