Excellent hotel. My room was really big, comfortable king bed, big TV, water, coffee, tea for free. Very nice bathroom. All very clean. But the best was the view (11th floor) on the city and volcanoes behind. Even better view from the top floor (18th) where I also enjoyed in jacuzzi (did not work, but the pleasure was to be in warm water and watch the panorama of Guatemala City). Staff was nice. Breakfast very good, with a lot of tropical fruits. Location of the hotel is excellent, lovely area where one can walk safely. Several restaurants and two big modern shopping malls very close.

The location is nice and in a safe area. Lots of hotels within walking distance so finding transportation is very easy. The rooms are in excellent condition. Black out curtains, nice big showers. Sitting area, tv, and room safe. Stayed in Room 1205 and the view is amazing. Saw the sunset and volcano in the background. Gorgeous! Had the hotel breakfast and it was very generous: omelette station, juices, coffee, beans, plantains, hotel specials, and the menu changed a bit the following day. Great way to start your morning!

Only issue was there was a club downstairs (not sure if it was in the hotel or in a neighboring property) that had very loud music until about midnight. You could hear people enjoying themselves. It wasn’t too obnoxious but if you’re a light sleeper it could have affected your sleep.

I think that the balance between price and value and service levels is just right.

I think that in the case of a „no show” the hotel should try and contact the guest before cancelling the room and giving it to simeone else. Sometimes the travel circumstances are quite difficult but the guest would like to have the room immediately ready on arrival. I am not sure if that’s what happened in this case but it does happen often in many hotels.

Everything is so clean and comfortable! Walking distance around the city. The hotel has a terrace and a jacuzzi. It has a small gym but well equipped. The early breakfast is great and is courtesy of the hotel. I really loved the room. I went to Tikal and came back to the same hotel because it was really a great stay. Super friendly staff! Great view from my room!

The location is great for restaurants and shops. Hotel restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean.

I went to ask for help to scan the hotels information at reception two members of staff were on duty. One was very unprofessional laughing and joking with the other menber of staff and completely ignored the fact he was trying to help me. The hotel states they have a complimentary taxi to the airport, this same member of staff who was laughing and joking the night before told me they charge 125GTQ there were three members of staff at reception at that point not one questioned it. I took a photo shot of the hotels information and showed it to her and then at that point the taxi was complimentary. I have stayed at this hotel three times before.

A very comfortable, well-equipped hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Ideal stop off after long flight before moving on to Antigua.

I arranged a transfer but it didn't turn up (possibly because my flight was 30 mins late). Tried calling hotel but no answer and did not respond to message on booking.com. Bit annoying after long journey from UK but taxi was easy to find and only cost $10.

Very nice hotel, just re opened about 5 months ago so if your traveling soon your in for a treat that the hotel is practically brand new. Good area went for business and was able to walk everywhere with out needing to use public transportation.

I perceived that at some times of the day a bad odor comes from the drains in the bathroom, just keep you bathroom door closed just in case. Water pressure at times gets really low. Typically happened in the morning when the water demand is high I assume.

The hotel was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast (sat + sun) was great and had many options. The room was bigger than expected, had a nice couch, TV, desk and little station with mini fridge. The bathroom was big and clean. We loved the hottub on the terrace although it took us a bit to find it and you have to climb the last set of stairs.

The AC didn’t seem to work as powerfully as we would’ve liked, it sort of remained at the same temp even when we tried adjusting it. Breakfast on weekends starts at 7am despite the website saying its 6:30. I asked about the shuttle service through Booking and never got a response. We were told at the airport it would come every 15 min but that’s not true, you have to make arrangements with the hotel prior (and it’s $14usd) Last thing to keep in mind about location, it can be very noisy at times (lots of honking/traffic noises) so bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper (the AC doesn’t provide much of a white noise to help, I had to use my phone)

Great location and consistent with good food and clean modern rooms.

For the area it is a good price but there are some slightly better prices in the area. With that said this is still my pick for the price due to the consistency I've experienced with four or five stays there. The rewards program is not a good program and I definitely recommend going through Booking.com

Hughe, freshly renovated room. Large bathroom, very clean. In a nice area in Guatemala City. The area around the hotel felt very safe. Lots of chain restaurants and malls in the immediate vicinity. Good base to explore Guatemala City (historic center about 20-30 min with uber) and close to the airport (about 10 min).

Stay overall was pretty good. A few nit-picks: There was some construction next to my room, but it was quite after 16:00. Shower was not very hot and could have done with more water pressure, but all in all it was ok. First night the coffee machine was missing coffee pads, the second night the best before date of the coffee was exceeded. There were loud water noises when someone above the room showered.
