Excellent location. I had a very early flight and the airport shuttle bus stop was about 6 minutes walk from the hotel. The room was very clean and I had a complimentary wine and mineral water which were a nice surprise. I liked the fact that the room had wifi and also air conditioning which is very important in Budapest during the summer heatwave.

Unfortunately, the window of my room looked at a courtyard but all in all, I still liked this room as I didn't spend much time in the hotel. I only had a couple of hours to sleep before I had to wake up in the middle of the night to catch the airport shuttle for my early flight.

Although the reception is open from 8 a.m. till 10 p.m. it’s also possible to move into the room at night, the staff sent us all the necessary information. It was a little challenging especially considering the fact that the reception desk with our keys on it was in one building and the room was in another, but the instructions were perfectly accurate so the whole process even entertained me as if I was on some kind of quest :) so no complaints actually. The house is quite old and has a special vibe. The ceiling is high, there are nice inner courtyards in the house (as far as I know, they are called lightwells in English) and we had a beautiful view on Károly körút (boulevard). The location is perfect, next to the Astoria metro station. It’s nice of the hotel keepers to give a bottle of wine as a gift.

Unfortunately the sewer in the shower in the room 16 was clogged and water was draining slowly. We told the staff about it but apparently the problem was more complex to fix it while we stayed there.

The place is sparking clean. The room is huge with friendly staff. The staff can speak fluent English. The location is perfect and right in the heart of Budapest. I can walk around the major tourist attractions by 20 mins walking. It is just 5 minutes to the Astronia Metro station

As I booked as a solo traveler and the bed is king size, which is great.. I would expect two sets of pillows and towels, shampoo even I book for as a single traveler. Housekeeping needs a little bit of details as they don't empty the rubbish bin and clean the toilet. I have to ask the reception to get a clean towel and extra shampoo. A little bottle shampoo and conditioners for 3 nights stay were not enough. Otherwise, everything is perfect. Definitely would stay there again.

The location is AMAZING!!!! you are 1 stop (or 5 mins walking) from the bus that goes to the airport (every 10 mins), you have a tram stop in front of the door, plus million of other connections around the corner. This place is filled with restaurants just walking distance, i just love this place. We came here for our honeymoon, they received us with a bottle of white wine and a beautiful room. It was gigantic, with a small fridge and a small station for making tee ot coffee. We took the jacuzzi opcion, which was perfect. It was working without problems and there was always hot water. The ladys in the reception were amazing, totally helpful. You can leave your bag after the check in if you need to (for free), and they did us the big big big favor of warming our left overs, thanks a lot fot that. the security is also really good, and there is always in the front desk until 10pm.

The elevator is old and small, which is understandable because all the buildings have their age, just remind to check that the door is completely closed otherwise it wont work,

I was very pleased with the location of the hotel... the exchange of messages with the stuff before my arrival was very polite and showed that people were really interested in making the things comfortable for me...the receptionists were friendly and ready to help... cleaners also did a great job and reacted on all my requests.. The room itself is quite an unusual place in old building with some history...it's like a studio apartment divided on two parts with two large windows facing the gallery...interesting for those who likes something different..

Location was amazing! Hotel staff were so nice, we had an issue trying to authorise my card but they sorted it super quick and were so helpful! Right in the center of everything and so easy to get to everywhere! The room was super clean and really big! The complimentary wine was so cute and a really sweet touch from the hotel! Will def book again when I go back to budapest!

Lift is a bit weird, but that's nothing against the actual hotel, it's an old building ^-^ Rooms can get quite warm but open a window and you'll be fine ^-^ double check the room you book, we booked a twin room and ended up with one bed 😅

I had an amazing stay! The location was perfect—very close to the center, making it convenient to explore the city. The place was spotless, cozy, and incredibly comfortable, with a super warm and welcoming atmosphere inside. The staff was exceptional—extremely friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond by allowing us to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out, which made our travel plans so much easier. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable stay with excellent service!

Location is great, just across the exit of metro Astoria station. Nearby there are supermarkets and eateries in the town centre. Detail check-in instructions will be sent to email address a day prior to arrival. There is a lift, which is good for those with big luggage. Reception is at 3rd floor, staff is available 0800 to 2200hr, is friendly & able to converse in English. One can leave the luggage before check-in and after checkout. Room is spacious and clean, with complete amenities (except toothbrush and paste). Nice to have a bottle of complimentary wine. Overall recommend to stay here.

It was very clean and the place and the bed sheets and towels smelled good and fresh.

With 2 luggages it wasn't easy to go up to a 3rd floor and the corridors and all that doors. Even with the elevator wasn't easy. Only to find a note that thereafter go downstairs, cross the road and go to a different building... another stairs, corridors and doors to open like in an escape room. Another big issue that the receptionist told me that I can only pay by cash! They didn't notify me beforehand about this. And they didn't give me any receipt once I paid. I wasn't happy about it and even forgot to ask for a receipt which should have been given to me without asking.

Certainly, it's one of the best places to stay in Budapest in terms of location. The airport bus stops right in front! We have access to all public transportation in that area. You can walk to various places! There are plenty of restaurants, shops, currency exchange offices, and supermarkets around. The room is super spacious and has a huge window!

The bed had a loose screw. We had to fix it twice. We didn't notify the reception because we managed to solve it on the spot. Another issue was the remote control that had only one battery. Apart from that, everything was great!
