I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Leonardo Boutique Hotel Budapest M-Square, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked into the beautifully designed lobby, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. They allowed early check in for no additional cost. The level of service provided by the hotel's staff was truly outstanding. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's fantastic location. Situated in the heart of Budapest, it was within walking distance of many of the city's iconic attractions, including M-Square itself. I was able to explore the city with ease and return to the hotel whenever I needed a break. The attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction at the Leonardo Boutique Hotel Budapest M-Square are truly commendable. I can't say enough good things about this hotel, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest. My stay here was nothing short of perfection, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Very good location, plenty to do nearby. Room was tended to each day so, it was clean and they gave free bottles of water each day. Nice size room, with comfy beds. However, pillows are quite small. But, can request more. Room had a nice big wardrobe and small fridge as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Front desk were fairly friendly, didn’t always greet upon entering but, were more than happy to help. Free hot drinks always available. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay again!

Housekeeping were noisy each morning, even with the do not disturb they were loud cleaning other surrounding rooms. Also, despite us requesting extra pillows, housekeeping took them away each day. So had to keep re-requesting them. TV was VERY limited. Couldn’t change language and did not find many channels in English and couldn’t couldn’t connect phone to TV. Wifi was sometimes temperamental, didn’t always work great. Room phone did not work, it wasn’t even connected, it didn’t have a power cable so, couldn’t call reception. If I’m being picky, grouting in the bathroom was a bit mouldy but, not too much to be an issue.

Location was great. Very close to the main shopping area and only 10 minutes walk to the Chain Bridge and the Danube. The main Metro stations and tram halts were right beside the hotel, too. The Airport Express bus stop was also just across the road

Twice during our 5 night stay, we were wakened in the early hours by the fire alarm going off. Luckily, it was a false alarm on both occasions, but it was very unsettling. Also, and I know it's maybe a small thing, but if you wanted to open a window in your room you needed to get a member of staff to unlock it, and then again when you wanted to close it. A bit more concerning considering the fire alarms and the fact the windows were locked closed! Also, every light switch gave you the feeling you might get an electric shock when you used it, especially the bathroom one, which crackled every time you switched the lights on or off

Location was great, really close to the bus and tram and metro stops. Hotel was very clean, not just the room and bathroom but the cleaners were there everyday cleaning the stairs the handrails, everything!. A good selection for breakfast which caters for many different nationalities, so you may not find everything to your taste but there is more than enough to choose from. Really nice fresh made free coffee in the lobby. Norbert on the evening / nights was very helpful and has a nice sense of humour, If you check out early there is a free room where you can put your luggage in a locker.

A little disappointed with the size of the room and lack of wardrobe \ drawers. Nowhere to put your clothes or luggage.

The rooms were cozy and cleaned very well. There was coffee, water bottle and fridge available. The cosmetics provided smelled nice and the view from the terrace over the roof was stunning. The pancake machine in the breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed the buffee with rich variety of fruits, berries and bakery goods. The location is perfect, close to the public transportation and short walk from Danube banks. Airport shuttle arrives almost to the door. Staff in the reception was nice and friendly. And air conditionin worked very well and was quiet.

Safety. The safe was detached and old model. The door to our room had been opened and left open during a short shopping trip, even though there was no cleaning on the floor at the time. We paid attention to a tall maintenance man wearing a hotel shirt, who entered other rooms with a key on his wrist and stayed in them for less than a minute. The door to the terrace common to the rooms was also left open one day, although we specifically closed it tightly for the sake of air conditioning.

Lovely hotel. They accommodated us and checked us in promptly even though we were very late arriving due to a delayed flight in. Staff were helpful and friendly. We also received a free room upgrade which was a great surprise. Room was super spacious, modern and clean with a comfortable bed and a lovely big bathroom. Shower was powerful and hot - just what we needed after lots of waiting in airports. Location was good, not far from the main areas for restaurants, St Stephen's Basilica, the Parliament and the chain bridge. The main sights in Buda were also within reasonable walking distance. I'd stay again!

The location was a bit noisy at night but it wasn't so bad we didn't sleep and is to be expected in a city centre hotel

The Central location for this hotel is a huge plus. Very close to the front entrance you can find both Metro, tram & bus stops that connect you with the whole of Budapest really easily. Travelling for work I used the Metro each day to travel to/from the office. The central location close to bars, restaurants, shopping and sightseeing make it the perfect location for short breaks too. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious and well appointed (big plus was the multiple USB charging points bedside!) The staff are all friendly and helpful...with good recommendations for places to eat close to the hotel with suggestions to suit all budgets. There is a good selection each morning at breakfast and the complementary tea/coffee facilities all day in the reception is good too.

Absolutely no issues with the hotel at all! 4th timing staying in the last year and I'll definitely return in the future.

The location was fabulous and property was very accessible, they had 24/7 free coffee and a fridge to purchase beverages. There was lots to eat around the area and a supermarket, moneychanger and public transport close by. Nicola at the front desk was very very sweet and helpful. She spoke English and gave us all the necessary info and travel tips to make our holiday enjoyable.

The housekeeping staff did not speak or understand English which made it difficult to communicate. They were quite rude and unhelpful. Refused to give us another luggage stand for some reason and did not entertain any requests. There was food of the previous people staying in our room fridge upon arrival and it was only cleaned after we created a noise. The phone in the rooms did not work and they were very unhelpful about it. Overall I feel the housekeeping staff and hygiene could have been better.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was okay, and the heating was excellent. The hotel's location was outstanding, offering easy access to the airport bus, metro, and the old city center, all within a 1-5 minute walk.

However, there were some drawbacks. The breakfast was good, but not excellent, and the area where breakfast was served was uncomfortably cold. Another issue was quite bothersome: at 1 AM, the fire alarm went off because someone took a too-long, high-temperature shower. It seems unreasonable for such an incident to trigger a fire alarm.

Everything was so great!!!The receptionists were so nice and sweet!!Really wanted to help!The breakfast was perfect!!The room was spectacular!So clean and a very comfortable.We recommend LBH for sure!

Maybe something that didn't really bother me but was a little inconvenient was that while having breakfast we asked for forks because our table didn't have any and the waitress couldn't understand me.Basically it seemed that she didn't understand english.Other than that everything was perfect!
