Hostel was clean in the dorm rooms, communal areas. The staff especially the Portuguese guy(Giorgio/Diego) forgot name. He was super warm and helpful with all our enquiries. He made it even better!! Thank you to him. The hostel serves as a bus terminal which is great to get to and from the airport and to different tours. I thought 10 bed dorm would be overwhelming however it wasn't. There are plenty bathrooms too. Also I met great people. I highly recommend.

I prefer improvements, there is one light in the room. This means whoever comes in wakes is everyone. That is it

I was in a room with 20 beds and it was super clean and comfortable. There is a 24/7 desk and the staff is always super helpful. Kitchen, many bathrooms and toilets, hairdryer, many tables and sofas in the lobby, enough sockets, coffee, water. It was my best hostel stay so far. Even if there were always ongoing tours and many people there, it was quite enough to get enough sleep/rest. Good location and walking distance to the center or most of the attractions. Highly recommended.

The lockers were difficult to use. You need your own lock, but mine was too small to lock it.

The most beautiful hostel I have ever stayed. I travel a lot, and stay in hostels very often, that's why I have what to compare with and I can say that I liked this place very much. Kitchen was really nice, spacious and clean, I can say the same for bathrooms. The hostel staff were all very helpful and cheerful, always smiling and always ready to help with anything. It's amazing that the reception is open 24/7, it makes everything much easier. It is also very convenient that the hostel has direct shuttle from the airport, called Airport Direct. I will recommend this place to everyone. If I come to Iceland again, I will definitely stay here again.

Well located near the city center. Busy place with many travellers coming and going. Spatious tables for e.g. laptop + a beer (available on tap in reception desk). Enough shared bathrooms, we never had to wait for someone to vacate it.

The shared kitchen could be better equipped (we did not like the plastic cups - put our coffee rather in glasses; and knives could be sharper too; some people failed to wash the dishes after they were done, which cluttered the kitchen; also, more sinks in the kitchen would make it easier for multiple people to use it at the same time). Not too many parking places but we were lucky to find a spot for both nights.

Evetything! The rooms are spacious and pretty clean, you have a huge place to put your stuff next to your bed, it was always clean, the kitchen is well equipped. Yes it is a little far away from the city center but it is only 15-20 minutes walking so it's like any hostel in any other European city??? But most of tours just leave right in front of the hostel if you'd like to book with them. I can't say anything bad, I really enjoyed my stay there and made a lot of friends too! Even I found Turkish speaking staff which was very unexpected for me hahaha

Very clean, safe great place to meet people from all over! Showers and bathrooms very clean. Staff was amazing and friendly! Loved the aesthetic of the rooms. Clean and welcoming.

This is a little far from town, but if you’re adventurous and don’t mind walking it’s well worth it. Didn’t like no coffee on site, I would recommend they get a better system for that most people like myself need coffee to start my day and if the closest coffee is 30mins away I am depending on you! Would be willing to pay a premium for that.

This hostel is a perfect place to stay in Reykjavik. First, the location is perfect. You can be picked up if you sign up for some tours such as nice travel. You can also book and take the airport bus directly from here. Second, the facilities are also nice. The kitchen is well-equipped with appliances such as fridge, microwave, kettle and so on. The shared bathrooms are also clean.

The heating in the room is not that well. So we got a little cold at night. But that depends on the rooms that you got. We stayed here for two nights. The first night was cold but the second night was fine.

Perfect location for pick up of tours. 20 minutes walking from the hostel to center city. Other place you need visit is the Museum Perlan 10 minutes from hostel. The staff so friendly y attentive. They offers tours (Golden circle, Nothers lights...). The kitchen well equipped. Buy the food before the trip, because It's expensive in Iceland. We shared a room with 4 beds. Definitely we would repeat.

During breakfast and dinner times the kitchen is full.

One of the best hostels I've ever been to! We were in a room with 2 single beds connected - very comfortable, there is like a beehive-shaped closet to put things in, a trash can (which the workers emptied every day), a large window with a view of the city (sealed black curtains), sockets for charging and heating. There are several toilets and a shower on the floor and they are cleaned several times a day. There is a shared kitchen with several dining tables, refrigerators, dishes and more. very clean. The staff was really nice, and helped in everything they could (booking attractions, consultations and more). It is about a 20 minute walk from the city center. It was totally worth the money!!!

The purpose of this hostel is right in its name, and I think it should be evaluated by that. This is not the hostel for exploring the city center for a week, this is the hostel to catch some sleep the night before or after your flight. And it fulfills that purpose well, the buses are literally right outside the door, the reception is open 24/7 and offers coffee, tea, some snacks (and beer), the beds are comfortable. I also want to praise the staff. The room I got initially was uncomfortable to stay in due to a very inconsiderate guest; when I talked to the reception about it they immediately gave me a bed in a different room. Due to the issues mentioned in the other section I'd probably rate this hostel a bit lower if it were meant as a long-term solution, but I think this hostel has one clear purpose and it does a good job at it. Definitely beats walking around with all your luggage in the middle of the night.

No towel provided. Plugs only on some beds. There is only one small kitchen for the entire hostel. The common areas (including the bathrooms) are ventilated to the point of being chilly, while some of the rooms don't have much ventilation, only a small window.
