Scenic location. Fantastic food of all cuisines having big portions. The breakfast is sumptuous. The rooms are huge with very high awe-inspiring wooden ceilings and the rooms were maintained super clean. The beds are comfy. The staff are very good and super efficient. We also enjoyed a trip into their organic cardomom plantation. And the icing on the cake was the fascinating conversations with the very friendly and well-read owner who is also a doctor; told us how the place itself has got a wonderful history. And overall good value for money too. Thanks to Ambady estate for the memorable experience!

Getting to Munnar itself is a pain due to its winding roads and the approach road to the estate is also not in the best shape. But those issues must be general to Munnar and have nothing to do with our actual stay at Ambady estate. The actual issues with the stay that we faced are with the bathroom: the plumbing is not great, the lighting is dull, the exhaust hides behind the curtain etc. : overall the bathroom needs a little bit of fixing or renovation. Also the living area of the estate is not that big to explore beyond a couple of days. Everything else with our stay at Ambady estate was just superb!

This resort is located in a tea estate. There are only 8 rooms available to rent at a time. The surroundings were great, full of scenic beauty. They had big comfortable rooms and well-cooked meals on order were available.

The location is 8-9 km before the city on a hilly road which is not very easy to drive. You are away from the main city and quite dependent on the property for fulfilling all your needs. A person needs to carefully look at the location while booking.

Pleasant stay and inspired with the organic farming in the estate. Variety of plant species and they can open a botanical garden. Staffs are very nice and good hospitality. Food is little expensive but good. Customizable menu for family with kids is inspiring idea in a buffet. WiFi and Play area for Kids shall add gems to the Crown of the estate. Totally a wonderful experience..... Will come back soon for next season..

A 30 minute drive from Munnar so not ideal if you don’t have transport

Very beautiful property to stay in Munnar. Highly recommend this. Its quiet and peaceful. The rooms were large and neatly maintained.

We went to the Ambady estate for New Years eve. We had a fantastic time with out pet. The Cottage was superb.
