this is an excellent resort to stay for families. We were 6 adults and 2 infants, we stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location of the resort is awesome, outside Munnar (and hence away from the crowds), near the river. The resort is relatively new and hence the amenities and infrastructure is quite clean and in-order. The layout also ensures each room gets a great view. The restaurant is very good, the breakfast buffet was excellent and even the dinner was great. The best part about the hotel is the staff, they are very friendly, prompt and willing to help with anything. We would recommend Eden Woods whole hardheartedly.

Some of the bathroom fittings, especially the toilet seemed cheap, could have been better.

This place is a hidden gem within the mountains, if you are looking for a peaceful, mind refreshing getaway away from the bustling cities, this is the perfect place for you. Jaw dropping scenery surrounds the place where ever you look, the Hotel is made up of two story villas which are two seperate rooms that perfectly blends with the hill which it sits on, to make your stay even better is the warm hospitality from the friendly staff and the best part for me is the ayurvedic spa and the food which I would describe as pure delicacy, and the espresso is made from local grown beans and is one of the best coffee I've had, would definitely comeback and recommend who ever is looking for a mindful and memorable getaway.

One of the best maintained resorts in South India. Rooms 10/10 - Most of the rooms have a great view with Balcony. Very well maintained, spacious room fully loaded. Restaurant 10/10 - Hanging Open restaurant with a great view, Breakfast serves you a good number of items to start your day with. Internal transport 10/10 - Golf Cart available at any moment you call for. It is definitely required to travel inside the resort due to the distance from restaurant and steep internal path. Despite the high occupancy on New Years we never felt that it was delayed at any point of time. Swimming Pool 10/10 - Infinity pool with river flowing behind is an absolute soothing view to the eyes. Staff 100/10 - Not sure if I could rate there staff more than 10 as I have stayed in a number of high end resorts in India and overseas, you may find staff polite in every resort but besides the politeness you won't find staff as fast as these guys who happen to serve your request immediately as you ask. Furthermore, I am not sure if they are trained like that but I got a extreme sense of inclusiveness with the staff and never hesitated to ask any possible assistance.

The connecting door between Living room and Bedroom does not have stopper, it sometimes becomes difficult with the kid. If you are a smoker, you better buy ciggarete before reaching the resort as there are no ciggarette shops nearby. The best way is to quit smoking atleast for the days you stay in the resort. :D

need more playing equipment's and playing areas for kids to engaged them within the property, as there are limited opportunities for kids engagements in near vicinity, its tough to manage kids if there is nothing interesting for kids to play. second point is to include more dishes/varieties in their menu, as its very limited for customers to choose, nearby vicinity doesn't have any restaurants for travelers to explore

This hotel is wonderful, it's a new hotel so you can see there are still a few teething items as they get used to the swing of things. The welcome was lovely and check in was easy, there are buggies that take you around the hotel itself as it has some steep walks, these are available whenever you need them. The views are lovely in this area and pool looks over the hills which is beautiful. The restaurant is also great, and a wonderful choice at breakfast. We even watched a cooking demonstration and got to eat the food after, which was a fun unique experience. The service is impeccable people really want to help you.

As its a new hotel it is still finding its feet. A few times I was confused about some of the services available so it would be good to have more information about the services and options available like the cooking demonstration. It's on their website but not in a welcome book for example. There are lovely things like yoga, meditation, rain dance and others but didnt know where to get the information and so had to ask reception and it still wasn't clear.

This property is truly exceptional. Alwin and his team ensured the stay was comfortable and pleasant. The rooms are generously spacious, providing a stunning view. A visit to the spa is highly recommended. The restaurant offers a wide array of delicious food Ramesh and his team made sure the food met all expectations. Winston the waiter was very warm ensuring the meal was served hot. The chef is amazing. I enthusiastically recommend this property and eagerly anticipate a return visit. Special thanks to the Eden Woods Management and the incredible team for creating an unforgettable holiday experience.

The small patch to the resort could be better.

The resort is near the river which is beautiful!! And is surrounded by nature all around. You can hear the river flowing from anywhere in the property. The view from the property and the rooms is incredible. They have games and sports that you can enjoy. The food is amazing and my compliments to the chef at dinner. The staff is very friendly and nice. There are lot of options for breakfast. They have complimentary tea and snacks in evening as well.

The rooms are ok and not well maintained. Lot of leakages around. Check in takes time so expect a bit of delay. You will mostly need to use the buggy for going to rooms and restaurants. The location is far from actual munnar attractions and the road to the resort isn’t very well built. Taxis or autos are not easily accessible. The restaurant can be cleaner. A lot of bugs and mosquitoes around but that is expected since it’s in the middle of mountains and nature.

Really great location in beautiful surroundings. The staff will bend over backwards for you. They are probably the best thing about this place. The food is delicious and varied. Amazing facilities (really enjoyed my massage). Comfortable beds.

As a new property, the resort has some building works going on. As does the road approaching it. Occasionally there is ambient music piped through speakers around the resort, which isn’t really needed given the peaceful sounds of nature all around. FYI - no alcohol served in the restaurant but you can bring your own.

We recently enjoyed a one night stay at this resort. The staff's hospitality and service were truly remarkable. The Resort offers a plethora of activities especially tailored for couples, making it an ideal choice for honeymooners or those celebrating anniversaries. The unique experience of rain dance and the inviting infinity pool set this Resort apart. In my personal opinion it stands as the best Five- star Resort in Munnar and I highly recommend it!!!
