Really great staff. A staff's behaviour is something which can make or break the mood of your stay. The always smiling staff and being actually helpful when needed is what made us like Sobit Sarovar in the first place. Special mention to Aslam who checked us in, Kunal for our room check in, Gaurav/Gautam(sorry dont remember- the guy in red tshirt) for our smooth luggage transfer and always making sure we had an umbrella(yes it was monsoon and it was always raining) even when we forgot to get one from room to restaurant or spa - just great!! All the staff were real polite! Coming to the food - special mention to the head chef there - Mr. Banerjee(I guess that was the name) - Buffet food were just awesome and so was live counter. He went out of his way to make sure that we have a Vegan cake for our special occasion. Thanks Mr Banerjee! Monsoon season has its own set of problems but these guys tried their best to handle the situation. Would definitely recommend atleast for monsoon stay because shacks wont be ready for you like the way these guys are for those rainy days - if you need pampering you should come here!

Tea and Pakoda conflict! This left us a bit sad and it was really a huge disappointment - especially during rainy season - which property would deny Pakodas(if they are already making it) when the guests ask for it - that too during monsoon. I would strongly recommend to remove this weird rule of "get pakodas(that too 5-6 pieces only) - only when you order tea". This rule is kind of bad mark on the whole experience. Guests are ready to pay for it so why not? Also please work on your tea - powder tea - is just not tea!

Our stay at the hotel was unforgettable. The staff is very friendly and polite, always greets you with a smile and is ready to meet your request. The hotel restaurant has an excellent selection of Indian and continental food. The staff always make you feel at home, I must mention Hussain, Yash, Eleena, Pijush, Manoj and of course the chefs and other staff who make sure everything is as it should be. The rooms are large, comfortable and well equipped. Cleanliness was in the first place. This is a hotel that is close to the beach, as you can reach it on foot in a few minutes. It is well located and affordable but hospitality is their forte!! Congratulations to all the staff for their courtesy and friendliness. We will definitely and happily come back.

The hotel was nice, breakfast had a good spread. The staff was always welcoming!

The check-in experience could have been better. I informed them that we'd be checking in early and even after confirming the room by 1 pm, we had to wait for an hour in the lobby. Additionally, even after informing that we are celebrating our anniversary, nothing delightful was arranged. Rather, they WhatsApped me a rate card to get room decorated. usually, hotels go above and beyond for this!

Had a wonderful time at this hotel. All the staff were fantastic, the room very comfortable and enjoyed the large room, pool and gym. The breakfast spread and other meals were all very nice, and all of the staff very attentive, helpful and great to speak with. I also visited the Tattva Spa, where I had 3 wonderful soothing and relaxing massages from Sapna, a Swedish massage, and two Indian hot oil massages from Ancy, who is amazing. Thanks for the lovely green tea also. Will definitely visit again soon.

Excellent hotel good facilities. Large room with very Comfy bed. Fabulously Clean and well maintained Great breakfast with buffet items and also a la carte options for dosa and omletes etc fantastic. Beautiful plants and decor All staff were friendly and very helpful.

This is a lovely hotel with lots of fabulous plants and trees, however this means the Pool had a lot (and I mean a lot) of insects floating on it . The water was clear and no algae at all, but all the floating insects put me off so I never used the pool. They could invest in a skimmer. There was a lot of mosquitos but that's because it's so heavily and beautifully planted.

Very good breakfast with good selection of fruit, cereals, western and indian staple dishes and ofc an egg bar. Good coffee too (they have a bean to cup machine for espresso). The rooms (stayed in 2) were clean and AC works well. The gym is surprisingly good for a hotel gym, and whilst the the spa is more costly than the street massage places it's worth while as the massage is higher quality but you have a steam and shower before you leave, so you depart refreshed and ready to crack on with the day. The staff were all very helpful, especially the cafe/bar staff.

It's a great hotel for families, but that does mean there are families with young kids, which I find annoying, but they are limited to the pool and play areas

Breakfast was delicious ...... Food Hygiene was maintained very well Lunch and Dinner are also very good .... A word of advice if you tend to have a sensitive stomach ...Please avoid the Shacks at Palolem beach and eat here ..Worth the price even more than Lalit Golf and Spa

Lots of mosquitoes The commode in the bathroom is placed quite low .... will be a bit uncomfortable for people with knee, leg or back issues The bathroom floor is pretty slippery so please when sitting on the commode place a towel on the floor under your feet so that you don't slip when getting up

The staff were very attentive and extreamly helpful and smiley. They made the stay relaxing and enjoyable. Also the pool had balls and floats which was super handy. The location is perfect and we had 3 young kids and it was fine to walk to the beach and be right by the market and all the restaurents. The rooms are spacious, clean and the shower is super powerful!!!

Everything was fine. I can imagine in a busy period you would need to fight for sunbeds by the pool area.

The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The swimming pool is great, it is very clean, a good size and the photos on Booking.Com do not do it justice. The food in the restaurant is a buffet style but is very nice and there is plenty of choice, breakfast is also very good with all you could want. Short 4 minute walk to Palolem beach.

Unfortunately we felt the cleanliness of the bathroom could have been slightly better, and the extract fan was not working. In fairness we should have mentioned this on arrival but it was a bit late and we were tired after travelling.
