The apartment was so lovely and comfortable - way beyond my expectations considering the price as well! It was really quiet and well ventilated at night; bright and cozy during the mornings. We used the kitchen appliances for our meals and it was a great way to save money and get a familiar/home feeling for our holidays.

I didn't quite understand the opening hours for the reception desk, but that didn't really disturbed our trip. Also, not really a critic for the accomodation but a little tip for next visitors to learn from our mistake: don't forget to turn on the boiler to get hot water... We took cold showers on the first night until we realized we had to turn on the boiler to warm up the water

Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything necessary to eat in, but with so many great places to eat in Killarney we ate out quite a lot. Great facilities for an extended break, including washing machine. Very comfie bed. Very central town-centre location, yet still very quiet and well managed. Free secure parking. I'd definitely book again. Excellent find.

Only a personal preference, I'd rather have a walk-in shower as opposed to shower over bath, although my partner loved the jacuzzi bath. The power of the shower was excellent though. If you have mobility issues, it might be helpful to check with reception about accessible shower at booking. Reception staff were extremely helpful.

Location, cleanliness, staff and the apartment itself was absolutely spectacular. It exceeded my expectations by a mile! The kitchen, living room, bedrooms and bathrooms were immaculate. The view's were great, and the general vibe of the place was clean, fancy and high quality. The private underground parking is a fantastic addition, and the general security of the building with keycards is great.

Can't think of anything that was bad, which feels off. I'd say just small things like in some areas there was paint peeling off the walls, the seals around the balcony door were very worn away so they let in a lot of cold air / rain.

Great location very central for town centre. Yet the apartment was quiet, so no bother for sleeping. Spacious rooms. Well cleaned. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pillows were nice, too. Good value for money, esp in current climate Great for a night out. You wouldn't need to get taxis at all. Lots restaurants and pubs near.

Probably more suited for nights out/ stag or hen than family break. Apartment little dated with carpets and some furtiture, but again price was good so that prob reflect that, and really it is grand and was so tidy that it didn't really matter. The only thing I would say is you would know people smoked in it. Bin smelt really badly of smoke even though they appeared very clean. Balcony is obviously used for smoking, too. The entire apart smelt litte stale, but I think you get that anywhere ya stay, as if toilet or showers hasn't been used in day or two you just start to smell drains.

We were very happy with our decision to stay at the Park Place Apartments for three nights in June. The location provided easy access to the town’s shopping and pubs. In addition, it was easy access to the national park and our day trips to the Ring of Kerry and Cork/Midleton. The rooms are large and having a washer/dryer was helpful since we only traveled with carry on luggage. The apartment is perfect for a family or two couples. Our boys are grown and the room with two twins worked great for them. There is no AC but we slept comfortably with the windows open. The parking onsite was helpful since we were traveling by car.

Great location as we were able to walk to most places for breakfast/dinner/pub. We used this as our home base for day trips to Ring-of-Kerry and Dingle. The apartment was spacious - two bedrooms, two bathrooms, separate kitchen/dining/living room area with full fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine. They provided cookware and dishes, although we did not cook. They provided laundry detergent pods for the built-in washing machine with drying capabilities (not fast but...), which was very appreciated after traveling for 6 days before stopping here for three nights. We are a family of three with a college age son. After driving all day and staying in small traditional hotel rooms, this place was a treat where we were able to spread out and relax for a few days. A secure parking space in a garage was included. They called me a few days before to confirm our expected check-in time to inform me of an alternative way get the key card as the reception was only staffed until 4 pm. We got there in time.

Going from below grade parking to the room was a bit cumbersome as we had to walk through a short tunnel-like passage with laundry carts, then to an elevator to street level, out to the street, and a brief walk to an adjacent building for the reception and elevator to our unit. But it wasn't bad as we had good weather. I imagine it would be worse in rain with luggage

Up to date apartment, with all necessary features for a week away from home. Had a dishwasher, over, microwave, hobs, sink, washing machine/dryer. Plenty of seating areas. Two bathrooms. Bedrooms were a reasonable size. Showers were good, plenty of hot water. Free WiFi worked fine. Free parking for one vehicle with the apartment. Location is great - near town, but far enough away from the busy streets to be nice and quiet at night. Maggie was very helpful organising our access.

It was a little awkward getting from the car park to the apartment, as you have to go through a separate apartment block to get out into the street, then along the street and into you own block. Not too much of an issue of course in the grand scheme of things, but a hassle when trying to carry lots of bags/shopping etc. Could be challenging for wheelchair users.

We loved everything about Park Place Apartments. It is perfectly located at the end of the High Street — immediately accessible to everything without being in the middle of it. The staff were exceptionally helpful. We didn’t know how to use the washer/dryer and they came immediately to help us. Our three-night stay exceeded all expectations — 100% clean, quiet, spacious, lovely view over Killarney, secure parking.

This is an observation not a complaint: After traveling and eating out a lot, we looked forward to having a kitchen and cooking. The kitchen is very nice and clean with good utensils and pans — not scratched and/or nonstick — but this is not a rental that keeps oil and condiments on hand. You will need to bring anything you need beyond salt and pepper. Warning: don’t wait until the last day to do your laundry. The drying feature on the Beko washer/dryer is over stated. It sort of bakes your clothes to near dry. There is a large clothes horse provided and is definitely necessary to complete the process.

Location was excellent--essentially in town and easy to walk to restaurants, shops, etc. Having parking onsite inside a secure garage underneath the apartment building was great, especially since the hotels where we stayed in cities like Dublin, Cork and Galway did not have parking on the property site. Everything looked new or almost new.

Nothing we didn't like. Bedrooms, bathrooms etc. were comfortable and sufficient space. We didn't cook at the apartment because there were restaurants in town we wanted to try for every meal, but the kitchen appeared to be well equipped.

The staff were excellent at helping us get in (I did not follow their instructions in the e-mail, and missed their call, but as soon as I realised this and rang them I got hold of them straight away - they'd left the key in a lockbox and duly gave me the code. Also gave excellent instructions of how to use the patrking facility under the apartments, and then get out of it on foot. Location - on edge of town centre so not noisy, but so handy. Easy to find. Easy to get in and out of KIllarney by car to surrounding attractions. We were upgraded to the penthouse: Yay! Light and airy open plan kitchen - living area. Kitchen had all we needed. Place lovely and clean, plenty of space.

One shower did not drain well. Drain was a long slot not traditional plughole. This seems to be a poor design which gets blocked often - have had trouble with it elsewhere in Ireland. Maybe cleaning staff don't realise they have to clear the trap as part of the cleaning? Dining room chairs very heavy and awkward. Hole in ceiling boiler cupboard, few drips of clean water coming through it (reported).
