Excellent location right next to the main streets of Killarney! The room was comfortable and it was nice to have the choice of air conditioning since it had been unusually hot that week. Parking was provided at a sister hotel just down the street. Breakfast was very reasonable...we opted for the 10 Euro continental breakfast and was surprised to see it included unlimited muffins and breads, huge bowls of fruit, yoghurt and granola, coffee and juices. Well worth it!

There was a discrepancy in the price paid upon arrival. Evidently when we went from 3 rooms down to 2, we no longer had to pay about $450 for the third room, but we still had to pay $50 per person, per day to put 4 people instead of two into the room with 2 queen beds, and still had to pay an additional $200. I still don't understand why you have to pay $200 more for the same exact room, just because 2 more people are staying in there, especially when breakfast and other things are not included in the price?

We stayed here three nights during a 2-week trip to Ireland. It was my favorite place of them all. It was clean and comfortable and quiet. Parking at the sister hotel (Killarney Park) was a breeze. The staff was friendly. The AC worked (we were there during a hot spell.) The room had a luxurious feel that was awesome. They even had one American-style outlet for our convenience! I would definitely stay here again even though the cost was at the very high end of what I would pay. The location was really convenient to the city center as well.

Limited choices for breakfast, but the scones and other baked goods were excellent.

We had a junior suite at the corner of the building. It had brightly modern comfortable and stylish chairs, a gas fireplace, electric blinds, and night lights down the steps to the bathroom and in the bathroom. The bathtub was also deep and big enough for 2! The room was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. Also, could use the free parking and spa/pool facilities of the sister restaurant, which was a block away.

Tough to park in front to unload, since there are only 2 spots, which is east for 1 car to get into and a one lane street in front with lots of traffic all the time.

The facilities were clean and wonderfully/uniquely decorated. The staff was friendly, helpful and informative. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom area was great with a big soaking tub and separate shower. The breakfast area was fun to eat in due to the decor and fresh tasty options such as poached eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, oatmeal, toast, bacon, etc. The location was very handy for day trips to the Dingle Peninsula, Killarney National Park and for just walking around the town with all of its shops and restaurants.

The Ross is located in the heart of Killarney. Parking is in their sister hotel across the street (The Killarney Park Hotel), not easy to locate but free of charge. From the windows we could see and hear all the horse buggies. Location is perfect walking distance to shops and restaurants.

If you’re interested in watching TV in bed it is difficult to do in this room because it is on a side wall. There is a couch to easily watch TV if desired. Very small area in front of hotel to drop off luggage. Especially, in our case if a tour bus is unloading passengers. We were looking forward to visiting the Pink Lounge (Gin & Champagne) but there was essentially no bar and limited seating.

walkable to everything in Killarney! a beautifully designed hotel that could use some friendlier/better trained reception staff. the beds were comfortable and the room was spacious.

parking was located a block away at their sister hotel, which made unloading luggage and checking in difficult. the restaurant/bar was basically empty at night. there was no live music. the bathroom had no fan. the overall vibe of the staff was pleasant but generally rather unhelpful…. upon check-in we were not given much information about the hotel itself, where to park, etc.

Nothing was too much trouble, the receptionist organized ice for our room which was lovely. Fast service. Friend ordered room service late at night and no issue. Room was very nice. Products in room (Voya) very good. Room was warm but not roasting (sometimes hotels are boiling) but temperature was perfect! Room we stayed in overlooked back of church - very nice and quiet.

Breakfast was not included ....it was a little pricey for breakfast to be extra.

The hotel was well located, easy to get to the Main Street, the Park, and the bus and rail station. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very responsive. We left our luggage when our room wasn’t ready, and when we came back from our hike, they had put our luggage in our room. As soon as we told them our toilet was making noises, they fixed it.

Our room looked over a bar. It was a fall weekday, so it wasn’t bad, but it could have been an issue. There was a small window above the double doors. We didn’t realize for a day that if we closed it, it significantly cut down on the noise. So make sure all windows are closed if you have noise from the outside.

The Ross is a really cool, boutique hotel. Its location within Killarney is perfect, sitting on the edge of everything you’d want to walk to in town and also in close proximity to Ross Castle and the park. Staff was very friendly and provided excellent recommendations for us throughout our stay. The room was immaculate and they went the extra mile by leaving chocolate eggs for my kids (we were visiting over Easter). I have only great things to say about The Ross!

There was nothing I didn’t like about this property.

First, Kilarney is a fantastic town. The Ross is not a typical Irish hotel. Quite modern with NYC size hotel rooms. The interior design is beautiful...especially where you have breakfast (which was exceptional). It's centrally located so you can walk everywhere you want. Lots of pubs with live Irish music (ALL good). The desk manager on site when we arrive in the evening was exceptionally helpful since our Google map didn't take us to the exact spot. She actually cam outdoors and waved us down (there was construction in front of the hotel). We had a wonderful stay.

Nothing really other than a slightly bigger room would have been nice.
