We loved everything. Very welcoming and helpful reception staff, beautiful room - extremely comfortable bed, great facilities (good coffee - a must - nespresso machine in room!), fantastic leisure centre, relaxing pool, steam & sauna, with a strong Jacuzzi - perfect after an Irish Wedding. Food a high standard, cleanliness throughout the whole hotel, top class, perfect location - I very highly recommend this Hotel - 11 out of 10! Killarney National Park right next door, and the town centre a two minute walk away. I am really looking forward to booking another stay in this Hotel very soon.

There was nothing I didnt like. I had nothing to complain about.

Location was terrific & views from our room overlooked Kenmare Place \ Main St. Breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was spotless with plenty of toiletries & towels. Air Con was working well & kept the room comfortable to sleep in. The bar was busy but service was prompt. We ate dinner one night in the Tan Yard - the food was delicious & it was great value for the meal we had.

Lack of hotel car parking is an issue. The public car park was full so we had to go for a drive & return at 7pm to Check In. There was a sports event on which meant no space was available during the day.

The Plaza was a wonderful experience. I got engaged to my partner, and the staff went above and beyond. I've been to Killarney many times, but I've never stayed in the Plaza, but my whole experience was outstanding. I also had dinner in the Tanyard, and I can't speak highly enough of the staff. They were so friendly and accommodating. The food was unbelievably good. My whole stay was fabulous, thanks to the staff.

If I had to pick one small thing, it was the noise outside, but after 12.30 things quite down, so we could sleep.

Excellent hotel in fab location. Rooms were exceptionally clean and very spacious. Bed was amazing and very comfortable. Staff were courteous and polite. Very efficient at check-in. Facilities were second to none from bar / dining to the spa facilities / pool onsite. Breakfast was excellent with varied choice and plentiful. Cooked breakfast was of a very high standard.

Nothing to dislike. Highly recommend and can't wait to return again

Ambience and food Rooms were lovely Staff were very efficient and friendly We hadn’t got bathrobes in our room and I asked a member of staff and within minutes she delivered 2 to the room which were very handy for going to the pool The bar manager looked after us very well when we hadn’t a table booked for our evening meal (my sister joined us for dinner) Even though it was very busy he still managed to get us a table both evening I also loved the location of the hotel for easy access to the town

One little thing I would prefer a shower rather than to hop over the bath in order to shower

Fantastic location, although the downside is the noisy street traffic, but so great to be near all the bars, shops and restaurants. Spa was gorgeous they really looked after us as did the staff in the bar, nothing too much trouble, only criticism of the bar was DJ music Friday and Saturday, didn’t need it.

The breakfast was very dry, we were so looking forward to proper cooked breakfast but understandably when food is left out in buffet it will dry out and no pot of tea, because it was poured from a general jug it always had a tang of coffee. The staff were lovely though

The location is absolutely beautiful, the staff is great, so nice and caring, and attentive. The facilities are great. The pool and spa were amazing. We got upgraded to a bigger room which was very nice. The food was very good though a bit pricey.

The location; it is in the center of town which is great, but traffic was awful to get there. There seems to be a lot of congestion in the road that leads to the hotel. Primarily because there is only one main road to get there. Some of the carpets or furniture looked a bit outdated.

Lovely welcome and friendly staff and helpful reception staff when key didn’t work on arrival. A typical Kerry welcome. Lovely Xmas lights and atmosphere already. Loved the food in the bar and the Tan Yard was gorgeous!

I didn’t like the constant smell of the candles burning all over reception, near breakfast room, in corridors etc. a few of us staying there for a conference actually all commented on it. Would actually turn me off

Everything from the checking in to out on day 2 was perfect. The complimentary drink while briefly waiting on check in was a lovely touch and very friendly staff. We had drinks in the hotel Saturday night for the match and the bar man was so good to us and very friendly and funny - cannot think of his name now but he really made the night more enjoyable. Hotel very clean and room was nice and big and very spacious. The spa is outstanding and staff also too.

On check in on the Friday, I did ask if we needed to book in for dinner at the restaurant each night and was told no that we can just arrive without booking in. When we went to go for dinner at 6 on the Saturday in the restaurant, we were unfortunately told that it was fully booked and there was no seating for us till later on that night which didn't suit so we did have to eat elsewhere. I would have booked on the Friday as we wanted to stick to the hotel and enjoy the whole experience of the hotel so that was a little disappointing but overall a lovely stay.

Everything was exceptional! Nice, friendly staff greeted my husband and I upon arrival, the room was very nice and roomy. Breakfast was very nice, wide selection of delicious Irish Breakfast. Excellent location for dining and shopping or just strolling around town. Through the back of the hotel is Killarney National Park, which was absolutely beautiful. The hotel has bicycles and helmets for you, and my husband and I took advantage of this and spent an entire day going around the park to the Killarney House and Gardens, Muckross House, Ross Castle, the abandoned Abbey, and a stop at the Dinis Cottage for a lovely sandwich and hot chocolate. We also walked directly across the street from the hotel to book a tour for the Dingle Peninsula the next day. This was easy because we met the tour right across the street in the morning. Lovely hotel, we will definitely stay here again!!
