Quiet, central, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was decent. No cooked veggie option.

There was confusion over our booking which took a while to sort out. Breakfast started late and there was already a queue of guests who would also have liked an earlier breakfast by the time we arrived at the restaurant.

The breakfast was gorgeous. There was a wide variety of food which was beautifully cooked and tasted delicious. The fresh fruit salad and the fry were gorgeous. I loved the wheaten bread. The dinning area and staff were perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The Hotel was beside Stephens green, within walking distance of the restaurants we ate in at night and convenient to shops and bars. The price for bed and breakfast was very reasonable by Dublin standards. The tram dropped you at the door of the Hotel. Taxis were also readily available if you needed one.

Our rooms were on the fifth/top floor so the seagulls were a bit noisy, occasionally at night.

We stayed four people for two nights in the Playwright Suite, which was spacious with comfortable beds half a flight below ground. Comfortable beds, and warm shower. We did not try the breakfast. Walking distance to the city centre. We had no major concerns and would consider coming back in the future.

The room was a little dated in an adjacent building which did not have quite the same character as the hotel itself. There are some noisy bars further down the street and people passing by in the late evening, but we were positively surprised as to how little we were actually disturbed by this.

The staff who received me was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous! The room had everything you could have wished for, and more.

There was a lot of noise from the street. I think the window in the room wasn't very well isolated. And there was a construction site just opposite the hotel. It was difficult to find the bus stop to go to the airport in the morning. I would have wished some clearer instructions from reception on how to find it. The hotel is also quite far from the airport. I arrived late at night and had to take a taxi and that was quite expensive.

The hotel looks good inside. The bar was nice to sit in, although some tables by the wall next to the garden door were a bit wobbly. The staircase can be a bit confusing at first, so I say you should first go on the elevator and the explore it while going downstairs. The breakfast was really good. Not anything over-the-top, but nonetheless great for a starting meal. The staff were nice and easy to communicate with. The bar and restaurant weren't too busy in the morning, and almost empty in the afternoon on the day of our arrival. If you arrive in the afternoon and need a drink, just ask the bartender. I didn't have any myself, but two other people, that I was with, ordered a Guinness and said that it was superb. It can be a bit noisy I suppose on when the nightclub is in operation, but the sounds die down past the 1st floor, so it shouldn't be an issue. Currently there's a construction taking place across the street, but we didn't mind it, since it wasn't hotel's fault and we spent most of our daytime out in the city. The only other noise is the tram in front of the hotel, although I myself found the regular tram bells charming in a way. The last tram goes around 00:30. It's a great choice for anyone that wants to visit Dublin and needs accommodation for the nights. Harcourt Hotel is right next to the last stop of the Dublin Express line 783, so you can go to the hotel directly from the airport and vice versa. The hotel is also next to the Luas Green Line tram, which makes it easy to traverse around Dublin for just €1.70 per person (single ticket).

It was a good tip to park on Hatch Street - we managed to park pretty close to the hotel which doesn't have any parking of its own. It was a really good size family room, plenty of space. For us the location was good, as a family, we didn't want to be right in the heart of things. Having said that, we were there for one night on a Monday, I think there were plenty of basement nightclubs around which would have been open at the weekend.

I would have liked there to be a bath! My children are older now but still prefer a bath to a shower! Also, the breakfast didn't cater too well for vegans.

Loved they held our luggage after checking out! Just such friendly and helpful staff. Loved the bedside phone with 0 to reception. Old school hotel charm! Nicolas was so lovely to remind us of checkout time over the phone, and offering us the gorgeous dining area we had our first night (delivery) meal. Good location, accessible by foot to most things. Look forward to a next Dublin visit with the lads. Thank you so much for looking after us during the Easter break ! For all the "sogginess" (softness) of the mattresses, the SHOWER was EXCEPTIONAL.

It was in the basement, so quite dark, the mattresses were uber-soft in the middle (new mattresses would have made it impossible to leave tho to be fair). Shower itself was amazing, but there was some fault that meant water was everywhere on the floor afterward for most of us...

The shower was lovely, nice big towels and the breakfast was very nice. The staff were so nice, espically the room cleaning staff and the girls /women at the breakfast room. Lovely warm smiles and attentive! Over all the hotel stay was very nice!

The pillows on the bed found very hard to sleep on, they were hard. Perhaps ask Staff to double check this with other customers. The room was also very hot on arrival. It is better to walk in to a cold air conditioned room than a hot stuffy one during summer months. Here i'd ensure staff visit room to ensure temp is set correctly. Also have complimentary ear plugs for customers and bottle water in room. Its a very nice touch that is inexpensive. Location of hotel is near a busy street area. I think the lunch menu needs a bit of work! Somethings for Management to think on! Staff were all very nice:)
