Excellent location and area that I like and have found memories of. Ample places to dine and wine or simply have an pint and walk around. A safe part of Dublin and good for families. Bus 16 from Airport will take you there with 3 minutes walk. Bus 16 takes around 1 hour 15 mins and cost around 2.60 per person. Little noise. the place has a life if you have bags it makes it easy. The building is apart of Dublin History and the lobby has a spacious seating area which looked nice.
Thank you for the early check in. After coming from Japan it was really needed. The rrom was nice with a bath, coffee/tea and a nice clean room.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel between Christmas and New Year's Eve, so during the holiday season. The hotel was fantastic, and the décor was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning Christmas tree and festive lights in the common areas, creating a cozy and magical atmosphere. Our room was perfect, and we appreciated the adjustable heating, which kept us warm and comfortable throughout our stay. Despite staying over New Year's Eve, the room was very quiet, allowing us to enjoy peaceful nights. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, always ready to answer our questions. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone, as it is not only beautiful and authentic but also conveniently located close to the city center.
Unfortunately, there was no fridge in the room, but if you're aware of this in advance (as we were), you can plan accordingly.

The location was absolutely wonderful, with a short walk to the centre and many activities in the nearby area. The staff were lovely, and the front desk was exceptionally helpful and polite. The room was spacious and clean, perfect for a solo traveller or couple. Overall, the stay was amazing, and it was definitely good value for money. I would definitely visit again when I'm back in Dublin!
A small personal issue was that the room was on the first floor next to the street. While not an issue most of the time, my stay was on a weekend, and such the street was loud until quite late. The breakfast, which was available just next door to the hotel, was just okay. While not bad in any particular way, it didn't feel worth the money while so many restaurants and cafes are in the nearby area with better food available.

This was my third stay with this hotel. The location is fantastic and the value for money is great. Staff was very friendly as well.
I booked a triple room for one night with my friend and my son. I expected to have a spacious room where my son could be a bit apart from my friend and I. However we got a room with 3 beds in a row with very small distance between them. Not suitable for two ladies and a 23 yo boy. So I had to book a separate room for my son. The price on the own website was twice the price in the internet. The management could not fully match the internet price so I ended up booking via booking.com again with a Tripadvisor discount. It just ended up not as economical as I expected. But all in all it’s a nice hotel.

I had requested a room on a high floor with an open view and got it; the room was spacious with a fine bed and good facilities (tea/coffee etc) and heating at the touch of a button; check out is 12; there was a bathtub (rarer nowadays) and I was very happy to use it; location is very good - about 10 minutes' on foot from southside downtown (St Stephen's Green) in a nice area; the building itself is quite beautiful with a huge, gorgeous sitting/drawing room (relax space area); the person who checked me in was friendly (saw no one on check out)...
Not a fan of having to leave the key each time you leave the hotel - I find this a bit old-fashioned; and also having to give/fill in the name of the other person if it's a double room (which I think was default when I made the booking - for just me - anyway)...

The room was spacious and comfortable, and managed not to get too cold during a cold snap (particularly the bathroom, which always seemed warm). The hotel is well located for access to Trinity College, which is about a 15 minute walk in what is essentially a straight line.
The pillows, while numerous, we're quite hard individually, and although it did not stop me sleeping, something bouncier/softer would've been welcome. I also wasn't a fan of having condensed milk instead of UHT milk for the tea, but it wasn't too bad.

Location was excellent right beside St Stephen's Green and across from Camden Street. Easily made our way from Harrington Hall to the Aviva along with being spoilt by lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Special shout out to Tiago for letting us check-in early and providing us with a number of recommendations to eat. Thomas also deserves a shoutout for making sure we had the perfect end!
Felt the rooms could have been more secure. We had one key between two guests and had to leave the key with reception. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar, but didn't like how it wasn't directly connected to the hotel and you had to leave one premises and go to another to access.

Friendly staff. 24/7 available front desk staff. Large room. Good bed. Clean. Excellent breakfast at the hotel next door (Iveagh). Practical location close to city centre around St Stephen's Green.
Please renew the door locks with modern electronic keys, so you don't have to leave the old-fashioned room keys at the reception every time you leave the hotel. Please install / make available in the room a full size ironing board (not the impractical mini-board attached to the wall).

Very clean comfortable elegant room. Superb tea facilities. Very clean bathroom. Comfy bed. Nice size room. Although I was at the front of the hotel, which is on a main road, the extra double glazed windows virtually cut the sound to a minimum.
Hard to find fault although the light switches were a little confusing. I turned off the main wall switches for the ceiling lights but the bedside lamps turned off too and I couldn't switch them on until I turned the main wall switches on !! Maybe that's just me being confused !! Still a nice hotel though.

The hotel is around a 10 minute walk away from the town/shopping centre! The staff were so lovely and helpful, the breakfast was exceptional - there was a wide range of choice from pastries to full English! I would definitely come back again!! The hotel is also just around the corner from a bus stop that takes you to the airport. It was within walking distance from lots of tourist attractions!
We couldn't work the sound on the TV, this wasn't too much of a problem though as we were out lots and didn't use this much!
