Good selection, great value and met the needs of our party. Staff extremely attentive and helpful.

Occupants of one room, think it was 112, had disturbed night’s sleep because of street noise following closure of nearby night club. Hotel staff were able to offer them an alternative room at the back of the property.

We stayed for 4 nights….great room, very spacious! Close to everything we wanted to see but not busy. The only quibble was the wifi was very intermittent. We had to go into the breakfast area to get decent wifi. Other than that it was excellent!

Didn't actually stay in this property as they experienced a flood and could not accommodate guests. The reason for this review is to share that the property went well over the norm to find alternative accommodation and followed up to make sure I was happy. I felt it important to let fellow travelers know that this property has integrity even though they had a disaster.

All good

Our travel plans changed very last minute due to Storm Darragh and ended up having to get a much earlier flight than planned. I called ahead to let the lovely lady on reception know and fortunately she was able to arrange for our room to be ready within half an hour of us arriving - which was greatly appreciated! Beautiful accommodation and kept spotlessly clean. Mattress on the firm side but we tend to prefer that. Breakfast was more of a continental style but staff were so friendly and attentive it still felt luxurious. Fantastic location with most attractions within walking distance. Very good for attending the RCSI. Gorgeous Christmas decorations. Overall very good value!

Bathrooms were a little on the small side - those with limited mobility may struggle (though shower was lovely and spacious). Asked for some extra toilet roll in the early morning of the very first night (as I had come down with food poisoning and used up the two rolls that were provided) but unfortunately were not able to provide any more until the rooms were serviced (I was however able to get some delivered with some extra supplies from a nearby Spar via Deliveroo relatively cheaply).

I liked the location which was a fairly short walk from Temple Bar along Grafton Street and alongside St Stephen’s Park. The bedroom was nicely decorated and the twin beds were comfortable with feather bedding. The bathroom was also nice with twin sinks and a large walk in shower. The continental breakfast was pleasant and was served by friendly staff

The only problem I encountered was the noise levels from outside the hotel which is beyond their control. There are a couple of nightclubs nearby and the music can be heard until the early hours.

Albany House is a gem. Its exactly what I would imagine a stay in Dublin to be - traditional, yet modern and friendly. Actually it felt rather posh but just because everything is in good taste. The beds were very comfortable and spacious room. The furniture and decor is very tasteful. The staff at reception were super helpful with info and the breakfast staff were lovely. Breakfast was exceptional. Very clean and definitely had the Irish atmosphere I was looking for. Highly recommended and I would love to stay here again, thank you.

I loved everything. Only thing is if you have a front facing room and its the weekend there's a couple of clubs across the road. So when the party people leave it has a chance to get a bit noisy. But that's not the hotel's fault.

The location was excellent, a fine building within easy walking distance of the national Gallery, Trinity College, the Gaiety Theatre and the airport express bus stop. Double glazing was effective for noise insulation. The continental breakfast had plenty of variety and local staff were helpful. The breakfast room was resplendent. A fan was provided. 24 hour reception was appreciated after a delayed evening flight.

We were warned that there was no lift and high ceilings meant a lot of stairs, though these were gentle. This is the centre of the night club scene, so at a weekend it was necessary to keep the window closed to keep out noise. As in most hotels, the duvet was winter weight. A lighter one, or just a sheet, might have meant a more comfortable night's sleep.

Location was excellent within easy walking distance of major Dublin landmarks, pubs and shops. We walked to the National Museum of Ireland, Trinity College, Dublin Castle, and St. Patricks Cathedral. St. Stephen’s Green is 1/2 block away as are the shops and pubs on King Street and Grafton St.

The breakfast which was included was decent, but didn’t include any custom made hot dishes like eggs or pancakes. It was primarily a cold buffet. Rooms are small, but typical of the area. However, the bathroom was very large with double sinks and a nice size shower.

Huge room with a high ceiling, with a big comfy sofa. Felt almost regal. Excellent location, close to St. Stephens Green and Camden Street (for the restaurants) - and at a for Dublin in August very reasonable price, with a continental breakfast included.

Had to keep the windows open, due to warm weather and lack of A/C, so the noise from the pubs in the area is noticeable , especially on the weekends. But didn’t bother us much as this is to be expected in such a central location. Also windows are a bit dated, heavy to operate and probably not very soundproof even if closed 😊

I was able to check in at five in the morning. The room was quiet and clean. The breakfast area was roomy, with attentive staff. A problem with heat in the room was addressed promptly.

The bathroom was small; I had to sit on an angle on the toilet because there was not enough space for my knees. The towels were stored in the shower! Spray reached outside the shower, the tiles on the floor were slippery. The breakfast was the same every day, the coffee was thin by American standards. The electricity didn’t work with out the room card inserted: no heat all day if I left
