The room was spacious and comfortable. Even though the room was facing the road, there was little traffic noise. The accommodation was a lovely two-room suite with a large bathroom. Everything was very clean and the staff was equally as friendly. We would definitely stay again.

When I walked into the hotel, there is no reception area. I was a little confused. There were two doors, one was locked and the other led to the pub. I entered the pub and found someone to help me. He was very accommodating and checked me in. The hotel was located above the pub and occasionally the music wafted into the room. Since the pub did not serve breakfast, we had to walk to a cafe a short distance away. There is no off street parking.

We stayed here on our last night to be close, but not too close to DUB. The propery, grounds and facilities were exceptional. I wish we had splurged booked a suite like our friends did. Their room was huge with a large copper tub and sitting area. Ours was quite small but clean and comfortable with unique decor. The location is central to many sites worth a visit. I wish we had stayed longer. I'll base the rating on our friend's room, which was a 10. I'd give mine an 8.

Heating was centrally controlled and the room was a bit chilly.

The check in was easy (lock boxes, not everybody likes but can be very handy) and clear, the room was a lovely surprise, a really nice, interesting and quirky (in a very good way), no beige here. Instructions in room were clear. Unfortunately timing did not work for me as restaurant was closed the night I was there but I imagine it would be even more special if it was open. Had a number to contact if I needed anything and when I texted the number got a reasonable quick response. I did not see any staff but the support was there.

I had problems connecting to the wifi, checked the password and it matched the information, contact host number and they came back with same password, not sure what the issue was, my side or host side but did not upset what was a lovely stay in any significant way. This is another small issue the instructions in the room said the restaurant was closed on Monday and open on Tuesday, I arrived on Tuesday but restaurant was closed, I think this might be a recent change and it was correct on the web.

Rooms were stunning, spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee available and complimentary toiletries.

The noise from the road, I should have researched the address more. It's a very busy high street. We'd go back but ask for a back room. The pub was closed on a Tuesday , we were looking forward to going there. Bridgit was a voice on the phone, it would have been nice to add a face to the voice. Biggest problem was the shower not working. All we could get was scalding water. Luckily we were able to use our daughter's shower upstairs, but it was annoying to have to dress again and schlepp upstairs. .

We stayed four nights in all at Bardons - on arrival for the first night in Ireland, we were in the White Room, and for three nights in the Grey Room, two weeks later, just before leaving. Both rooms were tastefully furnished and had tea/coffee making facilities. Bathrooms were very clean and modern. The Grey Room was more spacious and quieter being at the top of the building, and the Bar staff helped us up there with the luggage, which was very welcome. Room service was done every day to a high standard. We did not need to use the bar restaurant but I understand that the food is very good there.

Although it was not a major problem for us, there is only ‘on street’ parking, so a short walk could be required. Breakfast is not served at the Bar here, although there are two good small cafès nearby. There can be street noise late at night due to chip shops, bar closings etc., but this is a feature of town centre accommodation.

It was conveniently located right in the Main Street of Kilcullen. Easy to find and get around. The whole look and feel of the pub and the hotel part were extremely authentic with a modern twist. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and boutique like. Friendly staff and great coffee making facilities with a Nespresso coffee maker. We absolutely loved it. Thank you for your hospitality.

The parking was in the main road but I guess that can’t be helped. Some cars parked very close to the front and back so it made getting out a little awkward. But they cannot help that, I know because of the location.

Stunning rooms (we had the Black Room and friends were in the White Room). Extremely comfortable and roomy bed, though we were exhausted after a 26 hour flight from Australia. Very clean with lovely bathrooms. Walking distance to everything

Would have like the check in instructions earlier in the day as we arrived into Dublin very late and very tired and had no wifi access to check the email sent to us. Turned out that it hadn't been sent, so luckily our friends arrived first and were able to contact the host for us otherwise might have been sleeping in the car!

Beautiful decor, comfy beds. Clean and easy public parking out front. Restaurant/bar right downstairs with excellent food and we didn’t really hear any noise from it once we were in bed.

Shower was difficult to adjust and the water was scalding. I had no issues being first but my spouse couldn’t get into it afterwards as there seemed to be no cold water. Minimal outlets if you have multiple electronics to charge.

The host were so lovely and the accommodation was such an amazing place. We arrive late and the pub bellow the house is from the host and they gave us the opportunity to have dinner. Even if they do not provide breakfast the room has a paper with really good recommendations. We really loved the place and the accommodation. We will be back someday.

Everything was great

Fantastic room, comfortable, warm and a great location- easy access to quality dinner and drinks downstairs, meaning we didn’t not have to brave the cold! Met lovely locals in the pub, happy for a chat.

We could not manually turn off the auto sensor light between our bedroom and the bathroom which sounds like not much but we both woke each other up as we snuck out to the toilet in the night!
