We loved this unique place, outstanding views with the green and all the sheep right looking from the balcony at the sleeping room. If you are searching for a picturesque Irish place... this is it. Thanks to Pauline who is such a great host, telling us the story about Braveheart beeing filmed there 30 years ago. Breakfast choices are so plenty and delicious. Prices are incredible. We had a wonderful time there. Would love to come back some day. All the best from Sandra and Werner from Germany

Beautiful area. Lovely host , great attention to detail in terms of having everything covered, from tea/coffee facilities right down to a few extra tampons in the ensuite just in case . Little bit of noise from another group of guests which can be expected sometimes . Key thing was that she was quick to put a stop to it / hush them, as it was later on at night. So no issue here . Just a further example of her attentativness . Breakfast was beautiful and again , overly covered/ not left wanting for anything! Highly recommend.

Pauline was a most excellent host, always on hand to assist with anything needed. Very friendly. As a vegetarian, I had the continental breakfast (included in room price) and there was plenty of food options available for me. Room was large with a lovely balcony you could sit out on overlooking fields and sheep and enjoy the countryside. I felt very comfortable away from any other dwellings with a 300 metre drive up the well gravelled track off a country road to reach the house. You need transport for getting to it. Used as a base for visiting various horse race courses in the Dublin area over a few days - closest courses the Curragh and Punchestown. Also about 1 hour away from many lovely walking trails in Wicklow Mountains including Glendalough. Every day Pauline tends to your room, with fresh towels and water for tea and coffee making,

Nothing I did not like about my stay- very happy there. You need to be aware it is a house with B&B and therefore if you have any noisy guests you will probably hear them. That said, Pauline made sure any noise was quietened down by 10.30pm if there was any. I stayed 4 nights and had no issues. Towels were smaller than I am used to at home, but then I use larger towels and make them last a few days as opposed to getting a fresh one to use each day.

Lovely quiet location - my only neighbours were the many sheep surrounding the property!! Hostess was very friendly and helpful and carried my small case upstairs to my room as I had developed a cramp in my leg after sitting most of the day driving and attending a craft workshop!!

The property was perfect for my short stay - will definitely be booking again the next time I’m down this way crafting.

Lovely clean and comfortable room and very quiet at night . Gorgeous country location - very peaceful and quiet and good for walking . Pauline was a lovely host and was on hand for anything we needed. We both had the continental breakfast which was just right for us . I’d stay here again if we were in the area. We ate at the Hideout Pub in Kilkenny ( Pauline’s recommendation ) Staff were lovely and food delicious .

We were greeted with a very warm welcome and offered refreshments. The owner rang the hotel for us where we were going for a meal and drove us into the town. The house had all the amenities you could need, like a home from home. The owner was available whenever she was needed. The house was spotless and very comfortable.
