Very good rooms. We had a car and there was a lot of parking. Easy access out of Galway to explore the west coast by car. 30 minutes to walk into Galway, but there is a bus.

Breakfast was boring and expensive for what it was. Would recommend to skip.

I have stayed here many times over the last 25 years so I know the layout and how it operates. Free parking for guests. the hotel is about a mile and half to Eyre Square but is mostly down hill or flat. The rooms are comfortable and the walls and floors are very sound proofed. it is a fantastic base for the Wild Atlantic Way and day trips. I have never walked back from the city as I’ve always needed a taxi due to the copious amounts of Guinness that can be bought in the best city in Ireland for hospitality

I preferred the breakfast situation when it was in another room to the left of reception which isn’t used these days. it was ordered and it was brought to you fresh. it is a canteen type of arrangement now but the food is still very good.

Hotel is well cared and the property kept clean, rooms are comfortable and hotel staff is super friendly, they strive to help and if they have someone who speaks your language they will make sure you are all set from time to time. Hotel room is clean, has a kettle and fridge and bath tub. Being on a summer stay, it was warm without using the radiator. Hotel location is about 35 minute walk distance from Eyre Sq. / city centre and there are least one Galway bus line (409 I believe) making in and outbound routes at euro1.90, so you have both options beside taxis to visit the town. Hotel staff will gladly get a taxi as well. The hotel looks mainly used by couples of all ages, business persons. Not sure if it's good option for toddlers and young children, however. There is a Tesco about 1km away and a Spar corner store about 400 metres for refreshments and the hotel has restaurant which I did not use opened for dinner and lunch with assortment of options. Breakfast can be paid apart and you have 2 different options, buffet and an additional continental. Our stay was super pleasant and from the hotel you have access to a lot of scenic views and attractions on the west of Ireland. The hotel has a big parking space if you are renting a car.

Rooms at the front can be noisy because of the parking lot, but nothing that ruins your trip.

Room was gorgeous, overlooked Lough Atalia in the distance. It was huge, bathroom was big & shower was powerful. The hotel location is outside the city so we had to get a taxi into town & back which we didn't mind. We arrived early around 1:30pm & we were able to check in which was a bonus. We went down to the bar and had food. Carvery was lovely, my husband was happy with the potatoes meat and veg, I had vol au vents. Both were tasty. Staff at the hotel are exceptional, so helpful, polite, friendly and just all round lovely people. Can't praise them enough!! This is where the hotel really excels.

Breakfast was where I would not give the hotel a 10/10. We had not included it wit the booking so we had to pay on the morning, it was an outrageous €29.90 for a hot breakfast for 2 people. I couldn't believe it as I only ate 1 sausage and some beans but my husband did have the full Irish. Apart from this we will happily stay in Flannery's again but maybe go into town for brekkie.. I won't be paying 29.90 again..

The location is very close to city centre if you fancy a nice walk into city its perfect, but bus faster! Good bus service. Also loads of parking spaces that felt very safe. Excellent staff efficient and friendly. Lovely food. Extremely comfortable bed :-) would stay again for sure.

Our room was at the back right above the boiler / heat system, could hear it, but not a major complaint, we got the room cheap on booking.com so not complaining, just interesting how Irish hotels use every space possible for guests. But hey as they say make hey while the sun shines :-)

Bed was extremely comfy. They gave us an upgrade when we arrived as I realised I'd booked the wrong room. Location is great and the bar is really comfortable. Parking is so handy right outside the door free of charge and a bus stop right outside too.

Needed bigger towels and the breakfast needed some attention. The fry was cold and the wait staff need some more training on attentiveness - left standing at the door of the restaurant with 3 wait staff gathered chatting away. This happened two mornings in a row.

I was at my nephew's/Godson's Holly communication and nice/goddaughter baptist and visit family.

I loved this hotel it was fantastic, The staff were very friendly and very helpful . The rooms were spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The bar makes great cocktail 🍹 and tea and coffee ☕. The food was delicious and very good on price. The have music 🎵 in the bar There is a smoking area which is warm . There is a bus just outside the hotel that will take you too and back from town and if I am right the bus runs about every 15 minutes. There is. A shop about 5 minutes down the road and beside that there is a pharmacy and a church all with in walking distance. I will definitely be going back again when I am in Galway

Convenient for when i need to travel for work. Cheap. Comfortable. Staff are friendly. Food is excellent. I travelled and arrived late in the evening, and was quite tired. I was checked in on March 6th by Paul and he was very friendly and checked me in quicky without any hassle. My only fault is there were two other staff chatting behind Paul and he was trying his best to check me in and answer the phones at the same time (he eventually had to ask one of the other staff to take the phone query). But i have nothing but praise for Pauls professionalism. Overall i am thoroughly impressed, and have recommended the hotel to colleagues in the past. In fact there were 2 other colleagues staying there based on my recommendation. Thanks guys.

I was tired after my travel and asked to have my dinner in my room. I thought the 6 euro surcharge for room service to be a bit steep considering i ordered from the restaurant. I was charged to literally carry the food upstairs.

Good location in the dock area, walking distance of most highlights, if not raining. Breakfast was a nice spread.

The room situation was comfortable enough for a hotel, but there was no airflow, so it got quite warm in the room. We slept with the windows open, but had to keep the blinds closed because of the lights and then we just heard all the street sounds and birds. A fan would have been really really helpful. Also, the beds and pillows were all quite hard; a range of pillow options would have been helpful.

The staff was brilliant, the food excellent and a very well placed location to get to the city and many places conveniently. Bus stops nearby, but can be windy. Merlin park and castle are just a short walk away, as is the strand.

It was a blessing when my bathroom lights failed and I moved to a room with only one neighbor. I couldn't go to bed any sooner than 10 without noise cancelling headphones because one neighbor left the TV on almost constantly. Also the beds are on the hard side. Get a double so there are plenty of pillows to support your back. Might not be a problem with larger folks.
