I recently had an amazing stay at this hotel in Oranmore, just a quick 10-minute drive from Galway. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and had all the essentials. The comfortable bed, pleasant room temperature, and pristine bathroom made my stay even more enjoyable. The added bonus of free parking right outside my window ensured a peaceful experience without any disruptive noises. The included breakfast was a highlight, offering a delicious variety of options. I indulged in poached eggs with avocado and bacon on a brioche bun – truly spectacular. What set this experience apart was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, both at the hotel and in the restaurant. The restaurant itself was charming, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its great location, delightful dining options, and above all, the outstanding service provided by the staff. It's a fantastic choice for a memorable stay near Galway.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. Amazing breakfast every day. Spacious clean room bang in the middle of the village which was really handy for a day of exploring and loads of nearby restaurants and pubs.

Only slight issue was noise every night about 2am which sounded like furniture being dragged about downstairs (in the restaurant). Quite loud hammer-like banging one night coming from somewhere inside. Only want to mention it so they can make it an amazing place to stay instead of just really good:-)

Perfect location close to Galway city, the room was spacious and comfortable. From being greeted by Dylan at check-in through breakfast service until check out everyone made sure our stay was perfect. The Italian restaurant on site had wonderful food on offer, Christian and all the other staff were very attentive and it was also very good value for money. Highly recommend this Hotel to anyone.

There was a problem with the hit water when we arrived but we were well informed and it was resolved quickly.

Short way from Galway which was really handy. Room was fairly spacious (we only stayed for 1 night so didn't need much soace) and breakfast selection was very good. Breakfast staff (especially lovely red hair woman who was smiling all the time and was pleasure to chat with -I am sorry I didn't catch her name) was pleasant. Evening staff who checked us in (and other reception staff we came across) were not the most welcoming.

Very limited parking, so we had to park in near-by parking lot (not great with luggage and during stormy night). Shower was a little dirty/mouldy in places. Light in shower room took a while to switch on (we thought the light might be broken intiially).

Right in Ornmore village. Very nice restaurant below rooms.

The parking was a problem. When we checked in and went out later to our family gathering in our car, no one told us to leave our car there as your space could go due to restaurant visitors later. So when we returned at 8.30 isch, our space had gone, and we then had to roam a busy high street for more parking. No staff were then available to speak to. A bit noisy at around 12.00pm if at back of hotel above bar.

I liked the quiet room to the back I liked the location - which was perfect for the restaurants Staff very welcoming and friendly.

I was disappointed with the scrambled eggs. I cook a lot myself and am fussy about my scrambled eggs. They had been overcooked and had stuck to the pan - you gotta man the pan and use a spatula. Otherwise, the croissant, coffee toast etc were fabulous. Also they forgot the beans which would have compensated for not eating the eggs.

The room was great and we asked to stay in the one with the bath since we were going hiking during our stay. They booked it for us. They also provide bath salts, a part from coffee, tea and milk. The receptionist was very attentive and suggested great places to eat and visit. We also needed to stay one more night and they could keep us in the same room. Highly recommend!

The parking lot does not offer many parking spaces, but just talk to the reception and they will help with a solution.

Pleasant and helpful staff and close enough to Galway to be able to use public transport to get there.

On the first night (a Friday) the restaurant downstairs was noisy and a couple (who apparently were staying at the hotel) argued very loudly for a long time; there was no apparent intervention by staff despite the hotel compendium listing "quiet time" after 11.00 p.m. The view from our room consisted of the wall of the adjacent supermarket/petrol station, the car park and a cemetery. Location was in the centre of the village which was extremely crowded; parking was very difficult as restaurant customers took up most spaces in the very small carpark. The bathroom handbasin was very badly cracked and the plug had been removed.

The bartender/late evening checkin person was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He also made great Irish coffees and stayed to let us finish the American football playoff game. All the staff were friendly.

The only negative on the trip was the very wet, very cold weather. The room and shower was nice and warm. The room was clean but we did find someone else's undies under the bed.

Breakfasts (full Irish) were a good size (although white pudding was missing!!) Housekeeping staff were first class!! Nothing was too much trouble for them

Ordered the same breakfast for my partner and myself three days running at approximately the same time daily, on all three days we had a different permutation of what was ordered (2 x full Irish with tea and toast) Perhaps parking at rear should be reserved for hotel residents rather than restaurant users as parking spaces are very limited
