I enjoyed my stay at the Maldron Hotel in Oranmore, Galway, very much. Everything met my expectations, including the reception, cleanliness, and comfort of the bedroom. The breakfast was good, but for a well-known 4-star hotel, it could be improved with a greater variety of delicious cakes and pastries to choose from. Nonetheless, I highly recommend staying at the Maldron Hotel in Oranmore, Galway

The only thing to complain about is the noise in the morning when guests started using their bathrooms, sinks, and showers. It was noisy in our bedroom, and we couldn't sleep properly. I think the walls do not properly insulate sound from one room to another.

We arrived an hour and a half early due and asked for early check in which was granted. The Family Room was very spacious, in the words of our Kids the best Family Room ever!! Breakfast buffet was exceptional, great variety of food, our 3 kids absolutely loved it especially the pancakes with chocolate:) The pool was spacious and lots of extras, floats, arm bands etc.. The bubble pool for the kids went down a treat (it was like their own little mini Jacquizz) while their dad relaxed in the Steam Room and Sauna. Requested a late check out as older boy was running a temperature the night before and needed the extra sleep, again this request was granted. Dad was then able to take the other two down to the pool so they didn't miss out on their morning of swimming.

The staff were very polite and eager to help whenever required. The bar was family friendly and allowed children to be present this allowed us to enjoy a drink with the older children present as they did not like the kids' club. My younger daughters enjoyed the kids' club because the staff interacted with them and played with them. The pool facilities were great too and again the staff there were very pleasant and helpful.

We would ideally prefer a walk-in shower as my wife has a disability so she needed help in and out of the bath to take a shower. The park was ok but could maybe do with a few extra pieces of equipment.

2 double beds, 1 single bed and a cot, huge spacious room, we had 2 adults and 4 kids. Bathroom with bath/shower. Huge playroom with loads of games and things to do, some of the machines needed a euro to work. Wonderful receptionists, leisure centre staff, managers were good with kids. Room staff set the teddies on the fresh beds. Lots of free cartons of water/cookies in the room. Good sized pool with kids pool and a bubble pool they could use too, also jacuzzi steam room and sauna, and full gym. Big basket of pool noodles and arm bands if you forget yours for the kids. Less than 10 mins walk to the 404 bus which goes twice an hour to Eyre square. Restaurant with lovely food and good kids menu. Tv room off the bar. Just eat delivery so cheap, €3/3.50, came fast.

Loo roll holder was broken. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Maldron hotel was perfect for what we needed to do in Galway. They have a huge pool that entertained my kids. Breakfast was cost-effective and fulfilling. The kids club alone was great. Sarah who took care of my kids at the kids club was so nice and accommodating to my kids. My kids enjoyed their time while my husband and I went out. The place is only an hour and 15 mins away from the Cliffs, an hour away from Doolin which is where you can catch a ferry to Aran islands and it is an hour and 15 mins away from Connemara.

-I wish breakfast was already included. - Our bathroom had a bit of a smell in the morning but was not a deal breaker for me. - I wish they would have told us that we needed swimming hats for the pool

The experience at the hotel was very good, we got everything we asked for, even a mini fridge in the room. It was spacious and comfortable. The staff at reception and room service were caring, patient, helpful and kind. I would like to give a special mention to Susan from the front desk and Marlon from room service and there were other kind receptionists who helped us whose names I don't remember. Wonderful staff and a very good atmosphere in the hotel. The location of the hotel is also excellent, counting restaurants and a small mall nearby.

Loved staying here The room was big for us all. Location is a bit outside Galway City is about 20 mins on the bus, which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Also a village around the corner from the bus stop with shops restaurants and a few bars. We went there on our 1st night as we arrived pretty late. Breakfast here are a must really big spread laid out and 2 coffee machines. High recommended and will be back 💚 Staff are super helpful just ask them anything 😁

The space in the room was fantastic even though I did have to pay extra for it, the swimming pool facilities was great for our Granddaughters and the staff were brilliant.

The meals served in the bar weren't great not really mouth watering menu, frozen fries and mashed potatoes that had been creamed with margarine by the taste of them, €3.50 for a Coissant that had probably been sitting all day, a dry chicken thigh served instead of as stated a stuffed chicken breast but I suppose the prices reflect the quality of the produce used.

This hotel has a lot going for it. It is 5 miles out of Galway so a good base for a car based trip (and avoids the horror of Galway rush hour). The rooms are quite big, nice big car park. Food half decent and although this is a little isolated a brisk ten minute walk to the local village reveals a reasonable choice of bars and restaurants. It's even got a pool (although I didn't use it).

Only downside is traffic noise from the roundabout, but that was a minor thing.

The Hotel is very central,there is a cinema across the road ,It has a playroom for all ages ,It’s not far from the city or the beaches .The food is outstanding absolutely gorgeous food ,We went down for dinner and it was just mouth watering couldn’t fault anything about the food .

The only thing I didn’t like was the heat of the rooms ,I couldn’t sleep as it was so so so warm ,in fairness the rooms had plug in fans which was a great idea .But the heat was unbearable.
