The home and room were wonderful, as was the breakfast. It was a comfy home away from home for our three night stay in Kenmare. The hosts were welcoming and helpful regarding local sites and road trips from Kenmare. Very much appreciated the suggestion to eat dinner at a nearby, short walk, restaurant, rather than getting back in the car for dinner given a long drive day before arrival. We've stayed at many Guest Home B&B's and this one exceeded our expectations

Although the location was a 15 minute walk into town, it was not a very safe walk; consequently we decided to take the car and park downtown which was free. The hosts did ask each morning if we needed anything; yet would have appreciated the room being restocked with supplies and fresh towels. I know some people prefer not to have their room refreshed each day, so that is a personal preference. Having the beautiful "front" room offered for use during our stay, would have been an upgrade for this wonderful B&B.

Hosts were pleasant, welcoming and shared their knowledge of places to see in the surrounding area. Very clean house, quiet location and a lovely breakfast in a relaxed setting. House is located on the Ring of Kerry Road, but is 15 min walk/5 min drive from Kenmare. Kenmare is a cute town to explore in the evenings or the mornings before heading off for the day. Also a good location from which to explore Beara peninsula as there is a bridge from Kenmare linking to the Beara peninsula. Laburnum House is a good location if you would like to explore both Ring of Kerry and Beara peninsula. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Excellent B&B with large quiet room providing good view over open country to mountains behind. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Excellent cooked breakfast. I give a score of 8 to accommodation we would be happy to use again, 9 for places we would hope to visit again and 10 for the bucket list/anniversary list. This property doesn't quite make the ten using that criteria. We had only booked to stay a couple of nights but felt there was plenty to see for a longer stay. There is a nice (30 minute?) walk into town where there are plenty of places to eat.

Nothing - it was all good!

A warm reception and attention to detail throughout by the ever charming hosts Raymond and Daniella. The property is beautifully maintained and room and bathroom are of a high standard. We slept like kings in the comfortable bed. Breakfast was freshly cooked with lovely ingredients- the best poached eggs and smoked bacon, and with a stunning view through the picture window. In a great location on the edge of foody vibrant Kenmare. The perfect stay. We have stayed in some great hotels in the world and have not left any with a warmer feeling than we had when we said goodbye to Laburnum !

We had a lovely big room, and an even bigger bathroom! Everything was fantastic, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was very convenient, with an easy 12-15 minute walk into central Kenmare, for many pubs and restaurants. Raymond and Daniela were warm and welcoming hosts, and we very much appreciated their kindness. Nothing was any trouble for them. Thank you once again.

We loved everything.

This property was one of our best, having stayed now in over 40 properties on this vacation. The hosts are the nicest people you will ever meet and went out of their way to be sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The room was very nice. The breakfast was fantastic and included in the fee. The location is also perfect. thank you for taking such good care of us. The breakfast menu was broad and delicious. Lots of options and the host very obliging to tailor the food to our requests. The food was fresh and prompt when ordered.

Nothing. Everything was fantastic.

We enjoyed our stay at the Laburnum Bed and Breakfast. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. The breakfast was a combination of yogurt, toppings, fruit, a hot dish such as eggs or french toast, juices, and tea/coffee. The owners were very gracious and welcoming.

The location was about a five-minute drive into Kenmare. It did not seem walkable due to the busy road and lack of sidewalks. The room was comfortable but we would have appreciated an easy chair to sit in to read or watch TV.

Very clean and well run B&B within walking distance from Kenmare town. This place is on the same road as Dromquinna Manor where our niece's wedding was so every time we took a bus back we were dropped off right outside! The place is spotless and breakfast is plentiful and very delicious. Great value for money too.

Great location close to town. The hosts were super nice and helpful with suggestions for Beara Peninsula (one of our favorites). Breakfast to order was delicious - they also had cereal, fruit, yogurt etc. available on the buffet. Beautiful decor and a comfortable bed. I would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Kenmare area.
