The service from everyone from start to finish on our trip was the best I have ever had. in particular, Emer the guest services manager & Victoria in the restaurant went above and beyond anything we could have asked for. I have stayed at many hotels in the world and this is the best service I have ever had. Jennifer was accommodating in the restaurant also. 10/10 I cannot fault the service. aside from that, the food was great and well priced. The petting zoo was a hit for our children. despite the non stop rain, this hotel was a highlight of our trip! I would visit Limerick again just to stay there!

absolutely nothing

From the moment we landed we were warmly greeted with very professional staff. The grounds and the main foyer of the hotel are very well kept and maintained. This was a mini break with our 2 children aged 6 & 7 (so it was really for them) and this hotel didn’t disappoint at all. From a little gift on arrival, a slice of cake and balloons as a surprise in the room for one daughters birthday, the kids club rangers brought them off at 5pm, fed them, played games with them and brought them to the animals in the pet farm, watched a movie and dropped them back to us at 9pm. The children has an absolute ball. They also loved the pool and started every morning with a swim whilst mum and dad could alternate using the outdoor hot tub and steam room and sauna. These are great facilities. The food was excellent and again the children absolutely loved the pancake machine at breakfast. We ate in the hotel for our 3 night stay and were 100% satisfied with the food. The staff are fantastic from reception to wait service to housekeeping, all really friendly and very helpful. We will absolutely return.

There was a bit of renovation work going on but understood that these things must happen. The only dislike was the bathroom. Whilst the room was impeccably clean and modern, the bathroom needs an overhaul. The tiling is of poor quality, the silicone/caulking is also of a poor standard. The shower (in-bath) door is inadequate, despite being careful the floor gets flooded. The toilet flush splashes up out of the bowl.

deluxe room was spacious, excellent breakfast with good choices inc gluten free options, very helpful and friendly staff. Spa and outside hot tub were well maintained and very relaxing.

our room (228) was near/above a staff entrance and often noisy with vans (reversing bleeping, doors slamming) and ?gardeners/builders talking loudly …..we had our windows open as it was hot and the room doesn’t have Air-conditioning. Bathroom could benefit from an upgrade, nowhere eg heated towel rail or radiator to dry towels or swimwear. ( had a pull out washing line over the bath) I would rather re use towels during a stay but they were damp/ hard to dry.

The hotel is beautiful, we liked the outdoor areas and the hot tub was fantastic. The pool is smaller than it looks in the pictures but we had the whole pool to ourselves in the afternoon which was great! The staff were all very friendly. The family room was spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated.

It would have been better to have the soap dispenser close to the edge so that our kids could use it without help (couldn’t reach it). Also, the tv signal was very bad - with only 3 channels working. The drinks in the Quench bar are overpriced for what we were served (basically a glass filled with ice). I was also disappointed to see that we would have had to pay extra for any warm options at the breakfast (we paid for breakfast incl in room prize) but think having to pay for some scrambled egg or sausages is a bit of a rip off, especially when paying €200 a night

I have always loved coming to this hotel. It looks inviting from the outside, and doesn’t disappoint. The best thing about the hotel is its staff. They are welcoming, helpful and efficient. There is no question that they want you to enjoy your visit, whether it is long or short. They are knowledgeable about the area and share that freely in the hope you have a restful and comfortable stay. The restaurant is superb. The staff made sure I was comfortable and welcome. I had a beautiful meal, and saw that those dining around me were also enjoying being there. I want to say a big Thanks to all at the hotel. I could not be happier with my experience.

I cannot fault the hotel at all. There is nothing I did not like.

I am extremely satisfied with our stay this time. All the hotel staff, including the check-in counter and restaurant, were very friendly and polite, making us feel right at home. As we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, the hotel made special arrangements and sent us a bottle of red wine and chocolates to celebrate. Additionally, when we found out there was no air conditioning at night, I requested a fan, and a staff member quickly delivered a brand new fan to our room for my use. The room was very spacious, and the surrounding environment of the hotel was comfortable, with plenty of space to enjoy. It is particularly suitable for a family vacation and relaxation. The gym was professional and clean. The hotel is only a 15-minute drive from the city center, and if given the opportunity, I will definitely stay there again in the future."

There was loads for families to do - not least the farm and the playground. the lovely lady who helped out on the farm on Sunday 16 January was amazing and made the holiday for my toddler. she is worth her weight in gold. I would come back again just for her! Also, there was a lovely waitress in the bar (blonde studying to be a teacher) and she genuinely was great. she noticed when my son was hangry waiting on food after a late drive to the hotel and gave him biscuits to fend off the tantrum. on our second night, when things got a little much for him she kindly delivered our meal to our room. there was also a gentleman Bar man who kept us in good form with the best whiskey sours we ever had. he was so lovely and personable. your staff really made the stay for us. thank you!

check in wasn't as nice as an experience as it usually was - they don't allow tap to pay, which should be highlighted at time of booking given the pandemic and people relying on Apple Pay etc.

Staff were friendly and facilities good. Upgraded to a premium room which was nice. Lovely nature around the hotel and enjoyed walking around its grounds. Pool and hot tub a welcome bonus. Overall would stay again

Food mediocre- 7 euro for 2 scoops of ice cream (there was no sorbet left so only got ice-cream but was meant to get both) a little extortionate. Hot breakfast cold at times also. Service in bar very slow for both getting drinks and ordering food. Radiators made funny noises at random hours of the early morning on my last night which made it difficult to sleep.
