Location is prime! Favorite hotel here because I come for shows at Filmore and Fox. Staff is always pretty cool, kind, and helpful. This visit, Especially Jedalyn, she was always smiling warm and going above and beyond to make customers feel like it’s home. And the Valet at night, i heard him called Noel? He’s easy to approach and went out of his way to help customers and other staff. Love to hear music all over at night and can walk to everything important downtown. Maintenance and other staff came immediately up if i needed stuff which is probably hard to keep up with so appreciate that.

Not criticizing at all but some suggestions. Needs updating and pool. I always choose Hilton Garden Inn in every town if possible. They are always new or flipped with modern furnishings so bathroom is new and clean and appliances are working good, with affordable mid price. -This Hilton needs update, bathroom tubs looked dingy although clean so makes you not notice the other updates, fridge never worked properly so some food was ruined, and tv picture was not looking he. 2nd stay at this site. -Also I always pick Garden Inn becuaee they all have indoor pools, but the pool here was shut down after COVId from some structure issue maybe? It’s my favorite thing about all hotels, swimming.

Clean room, furniture, bedding, towels. No bad smells, the room was spacious.

Parking $45, not $38 as their Booking.com description is. During our check in the front desk man was very aggressive when I told him that their parking rate on Booking.com is $38, and he claimed that he does not care about what is written on Booking.com and that it is NOT HOTEL’s official information. Very unpleasant and negative experience from this individual and interaction overall. I was very disappointed.

Clean, well maintained, super close to Ford Field and other places. The staff was FANTASTIC! Front desk staff was friendly and beyond accommodating. The valets are top notch - professional but wonderful personalities. Housekeeping was extremely nice and courteous. All around EXCELLENT PEOPLE work here and make everyone feel beyond welcomed!

The room was clean, comfy, and ready when I arrived. The temperature was adjustable, with plenty of pillows and a king-sized bed. The toiletries were from a well-known, quality brand -- Neutrogena. The chairs provided were roomy. There was a pantry at the front desk with snacks and sundry items for purchase -- a bit more expensive than if purchased at a convenience store. Added security feature -- a key card is needed to use elevator, as well as, enter your room. The location was near public transportation and very near my destination. Staff was polite, helpful.

I thought the repeated text messages from the staff asking for my opinion about my stay -- throughout my stay -- was a bit annoying.

parking $45 a night There were a few things on the carpet-cranberries? The tissue dispenser in the bathroom had only three tissues crammed in the top with no box in the canister. It kind of felt like who ever “Cleaned” the room took short cuts, which kind of grossed me out. I tried not to think about it.

Checking in and out was easy and everyone was friendly and professional. Clean room. Downtown location. Option of not having housekeeping every day. Daily check in texts.

Valet parking was too expensive. Added taxes for stadium etc...was over the top. This has nothing to do with the staff or the lodging itself. Breakfast buffet too expensive. We were glad there were so many nice breakfast places nearby.

Clean and friendly. Valet, front desk, housekeeping As busy and as tired as they were, they stayed smiling and very friendly. Fast and easy check in and out. Room was clean smelled fresh and clean. I will go back.

Would have been nice if the on premise bar restaurant would have been open. But with worker shortage it is understandable. One recommendation. Get the bathroom exhaust fan ducting cleaned. They will run more efficiently I am short and could see the build up when looking up. Lol

Reserved here because it's literally 3 blocks from Ford Field and Comerica Park, so the location was perfect except for the outside noise (see below). Thankfully, the AC works great so that will give you some white noise. Recommend a white noise app for your phone and maybe some earplugs too. I will say that in the morning, the hotel is really quiet. The manager there this weekend - Larry? from the texts I received - was excellent. Housekeeping were friendly, valets were great.

Perhaps it's just a weekend thing, but the noise from outside is something else. I don't think the soundproofing of the hotel is to blame, and I don't think it had anything to do with where the room is (I was on the 9th floor). You're going to hear a lot of heavy bass and motorcycles revving their engines until about 2 AM. It's a very nice room in a nice hotel, but there's no breakfast and parking is $38 a night, so I have to mark it down for value since I spent $628 for 2 nights.

loved how close it was to ford field!! we went to The Weeknd concert and it was super nice making it back to our room before traffic got crazy. staff was super nice

parking situation. there were a few ppl charging $100 per night right in the hotel vicinity so we went with valet thru the hotel for $45

Staff very friendly. Always got a "hello how are you / how is your stay" every time you walk by.

Had to pay for parking but that's kinda expected in the city.
