The rooms are quite spacious, the facilities in the room were nice as well.

The door of my room was tricky and hard to open

Location is good and the staff is very friendly

Guys sharing the room with are all nice but I feel it would be better if the hostel pays a little more attention to the gender ratio in one room, so I don’t have to be the only female in the room for three nights. Not an issue though, just feel it would be nice if it could be more balanced in some way.

I liked how spacious the room was. There were plenty of outlets and lamps, lockers on the wall were wood so they didn't make noise when being used. The private bathroom was great - the shower had really good pressure, and the stall itself was very big. It would have been helpful to have a few more hooks for toiletries but honestly one of the better dorm hostels I've stayed in. The window opened up to the patio off the shared kitchen and people were respectful of the noise levels and the view was great (looking to the north of the city)

I didn't realize that my room would be up so high - I had to go up 75 steps from street level (3rd or 4th? floor /there were some shorter levels) the reception desk was on the 1st floor (30 steps up from the street) While I'm physically able to do this, I didn't necessarily want to do it multiple times a day so I'd carry more with me on my way out so I wouldn't have to go back.

The location is very good. It is just one step towards the Cappelle Medicee and many scenes so that I can get up late and have a chill trip. The tea is really nice. Though I booked a six-female room, my room only has three girls during my two nights (I just did not see any girl coming from the upper layer). This type of room is very good. Big space, big bathroom and even a small kitchen (only sink but many cabinets) The bed is comfortable. I did not need to take the quilt and pillow into the cover (like other youth hotels), which is very good when I check in at night so that I can go to sleep quickly. The second night the staff also has made the quilt and sheet tidy for sleep. When I booked the room, I wrote I wanted a quite room and a bed near the socket. My requirement is well met :D. Very thankful. Last but not least, I really like the decoration of the room. Old fashioned and ancient, just like the ambience of city Florence.

The room has mosquitos. The first night I was bited many times. Then I use the provided electrical mosquito dispeller and it is effective. The second night is without mosquitoes. The light in the bathroom is maybe controlled by movement? But it is not so smart. When I am having a shower, the light suddenly turned off and I have to walk round to make it turn on again.

I actually got to stay in a 4-bed female dorm. It was modern, had an excellent view, and lots of space for your belongings. The pillows were amazing, making the beds super comfy. The location was perfect and the cleaning was brilliant.

I stayed in a single room, which was quite large. The location was great and the room was basic but acceptable. The staff was friendly. Room was quiet.

I was disappointed that the cleaner would come in and turn the air conditioning off in the middle of the day, even when I told the reception that I did not need service. I understand the effort to be environmentally conscious and save money, but it was 36 degrees outside. There are also many steps to get to your room. This is not a problem for me, but could be for some.

The Suite with City View is very big, with a nice view to the Basilica de San Lorenzo. Windows are huge, bathroom is very good too. It's silent and could fit a whole family in it. The young asian girl at the reception was very helpful with tips about the city and a suggestion of itinerary in Firenze. The staff overall was nice. Also, very close to the market -- a good option for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The city tax must be paid in cash, I haven't noticed that when I arrived. Usually, in Italy, I paid with my credit card. Also, be aware there are long and high stairs in the building, in order to get to Emerald Palace and your room.

From the room 10.there is a wonderful view for the Medici's Chapell.Everything is pretty close to the hostel, perfect choice for a short stay to discover the town. Restaurants are nearby too, if you wanna drink the morning coffee outside. . I tried many hostels before and this was one of the bests. Free coffee, tea in the kitchen and free towels. The rooms are clean and I found the beds comfortable. Very helpful, and charming italian guys in the reception by the way. 😅👌

Too cold the building and it would have been better if the staff look after more for the heating under the cold and rainy days. The check-out time is too early. Would be better change it at least until 11.

Wonderful experience. The staff are friendly & very helpful. They are happy to carry your bags up the stairs if you ask. Rooms have a beautiful view. High ceilings and very spacious. No bunk beds which was great. Clean and tidy. Very comfortable. Coffee machine was a bonus in the kitchen. Courtyard was pretty & perfect for breakfast on a sunny day. Very central location and quiet at night. Safe for women traveling together or alone. Staff are respectful and happy to accommodate your needs. A cosy home away from home nestled in the heart of Florence. Highly recommend to anyone. Best hostel experience so far. Warm welcome on my return trip to Italy from the previous year. It was like being greeted by family. Thanks guys. Grazie Mille! 🤗🏠🙏🏻💕

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was air con (a must at this time of year in Florence!) and I really appreciated having a separate bed and not a bunk bed. I loved the mezzanine and the view from the room was fantastic (overlooked markets and the basilica). The location was fantastic, I could pop in and out and be in town straight away without a long trek in (especially great when it was so hot). The free coffee was delicious and plenty of seating area, the outside terrace was a nice touch.

Being so central it was obviously going to be noisy. I didnt find the noise of people at night bothered me, it was the loud clanging of metal poles as the markets set up right outside the hostel every morning (about 6am?) that I couldn’t sleep through. Not for those who struggle with noise! There are a lot of stairs, but I was only on the first floor so this was okay for me.
